Title says most of it, just curious if there is a way to get contact specific trackball notifications. I'm on cyanogen latest stable.

No suggestions?

I think Cyanogen Mod trackball notification is application-based.. your requirement may need more programming

Hello I've posted a similar question before but I haven't seen it on CM7 yet is there any way to get the slide left slide right phone call/text options from other Galaxies? Thanks

If it's not already integrated, it probably will be once CM& is more stable
Is it possible for someone to create an app like this one https://market.android.com/details?id=com.martinborjesson.o2xtouchlednotifications but for the Nexus S? The backlight of the capacitive buttons flash when you have a notification.
Already is one...its called BLN control...u need a custom kernal that supports it...and most do...

Running the AOSP ICSV43 and NoLED works fine on my phone. I don't play around with kernels for now since all is being tested, don't want to be flashing the phone at every second.
Nexus S 4g sprint
nstool can set BLN to flash.
I really like NoLED but it sucked my battery, so had to quit using. Found a couple others on the market, loaded on kids phones, seems to be working okay without major drain.
Most custom ICS ROMs have notification LEDs preloaded now

Hello Wizards,
Sorry if this has been discussed before. I did a search and could not find anything.
My notification tones keep changing on their own. At first I thought it was only when the phone was plugged in, but it has been doing it lately with the phone unplugged. Any thoughts?
What ROM you on?

I'm on a stock rom that is rooted.
Anybody?
That only happens to me on a fresh flash after google backup restores stuff

As Dave said, most roms have seperate tones for email, text, facebook, etc. Check all these.

Hi
One of the quirks that I have with my new HTC one is that notifications always come in short form and I have to use 2 finger swipe to expand it.
AFAIR on my Galaxy S2, if new mail comes the gmail notification was in expanded form and I can easily archive or reply the mail.
Is there any way to force notification always to show up in expanded form
Regards
My one comes today. That sort of defeats the purpose, no? Darn htc.
yup thats sad
hope to get a solution soon

It's because only the top notification is expanded by default in jb. Power saver is in your way and not likely ever to change. I'm running viper rom and it can be disabled in viper controls. Works fine. See if manage apps has power saver listed. You might be able to disable notifications for it there.

wonder if its possible a dev could make a mod to always show all notifications expanded!... would make replying and using actions much faster

I doubt it. That's just how jb works. It would get pretty cluttered. I mean it might be possible idk. But I've never seen such a thing. I highly recommend viper Rom. It's smooth as heck and you won't miss anything from stock. I'm running it with tl's wolfpack kernel at 2ghz with sweep2wake and logo2menu (makes htc logo into menu button). Only thing is the latest viper is on the new base from htc as of last night so custom kernels won't work right until source its released so they can be updated. I'm waiting for that before I update viper. I'm sure you can dl the older version if you wanted to run a custom kernel. It's 1.0.4

I'd just like to be able to expand them with one finger. I wonder why HTC messed with that. Hopefully that gets fixed when 4.2 comes.

Interesting. If you read the news of jb's release it says 2 fingers. I have to use two in aosp roms on my evo lte as well.

Disabled Power saver Notifications the day I got the phone.
Are you saying that in Viper Rom first notification comes expanded ?

Any jb Rom. The power saver notification is what prevents it because it's first. Viper allows you to disable it. If you don't have it at the top of your notifications, do you have a quick settings type app or any other notification pinned to the top?

Anyone having issues with the notification LED never working?
I've tried flashing a couple of stock Roms with no improvements.
Thinking my next step is to return it for replacement under extended warranty, but wanted to ask the hive for ideas.

I think the notification led isn't supposed blink when notifications are recieved. It is only for stock rom, when you get low on battery.
take a look at this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-2014/help/moto-x-2014-led-notification-t2878908

Am I right reading into this that 6 lost LED notifications completely?

Light flow installed. Instructions followed. nothing.
I know it did work with other Roms.

I never knew it had one until I finally rooted and installed resurrection remix and all of a sudden I get a cool little green notification and I was and to change in the settings what apps it will light up for.

The notification LED never turned in when I had stock, it was only until I installed cyanogenmod that I found out it existed. Whenever I recieve a text it lights up, it's only green though.

Same here, never knew it existed. Works on every text and email though. Using the Nexus Experience ROM.
Ditto. Thanks all.
