Since having the camera, the wallpaper I choose never stays for long and the camera reverts back to a gradient blue on home screen and lock screen. Every morning when I check it, see it has gone back to the default blue.
The issue occurs whether I use the other available internally stored OEM wallpapers or alternate.
Any ideas?
Same thing happens to me, but my Google account also disappears. Sometimes it happens at the same time, and sometimes it's just the wallpaper. The interestng part is that when I used a completely custom wallpaper it never happened -- only when I used one of the stock wallpaper choices.

Hi. My Magazine Unlock is not working properly. I set it in Themes and it shows as marked in Settings-Screen lock & passwords-Screen lock style so should be working fine. Despite that it doesn't show any photos on lock screen and there are no controls when I swipe from the bottom of lock screen (I mean play, next and so on).
I tried to put some photos manually into MagazineUnlock folder on internal memory but they don't appear on lock screen. Anyone knows how to make it work again and update the photos?
I've recently updated to EVA-L09C432B170 via dload method. May that be the cause?
Same issue here.
After flashing via dload method (and even back to the old firmware) I lost magazine unlock.
Have also tried downloading the stock themes and selecting them, but even though it says selected under Settings, lock screen remains the same static wallpaper image with no controls after swiping.
EDIT: turns out only the 'Black Label' theme enabled MagazineUnlock for me. I previously had Default(MagazineUnlock) but it didn't work, despite the name. Also needs to be under System/Theme, not just under SDCard/HWTheme
Someone knows an answer to this? I have the same problem currently and have no idea how to restore the functionality of the magazine unlock. Themes are shown in the theme manager and some even with the addition of "(Magazin unlock)", but it is not working even if selected.
mine wasnt working until i pressed this button ( the highlighted one in the pic) after that it started working again

hi. i had the same problem, had to change the theme to obsidian, then magazine unlock started working again.
What worked for me guys, is this...
When you activate your screen and keep seeing the same wallpaper (not magazine), simply DELETE the annoying wallpaper that won't change. Also make sure there is no "Lock" on the padlock on bottom left corner.
Hope this makes sense and helps someone from going crazy trying to figure it out
Very odd, my wallpaper functionality in the stock oneplus launcher won't work. I can click on it but nothing works. I cleared cache, cleared data, all other functionality works fine.
I can manually set a photo to be wallpaper or even lock screen wallpaper but can't access the built in one's. I installed other launchers to try and flip back and forth to maybe get it back but nothing.
Rebooted a couple times, searched as well.
Help?
Fixed itself out of nowhere. So strange.
I'm currently using Note 8 SM-N950W with nova launcher. After April update, wallpaper on the home screen won't rotate, i checked nova launcher's setting in "Look & feel" and set the screen to auto rotate, the icons and notification bar changed orientation but not the background image.
Is anyone having this issue?
Yeah, it looks to me like they are breaking feature to push users to the new phones that "officially support" them. Total Apple move. Try using KLWP with two images that will swap when orientation changes.

That's weird...i have a N950F with the latest update, and auto-rotate still works in Nova just fine. Maybe try clearing app cache or reinstalling Nova?

No joy, its persisting through other launchers as well (Apex, lawnchair, ect.) I'll do a reset, see if that helps and report back.
[EDIT]
Factory reset didn't work either.
works fine for me; make sure you have it enabled in your quick settings..
exact same problem

Mine is doing the same thing it happens in other launchers too i have done resets and even broke down and called tech support they couldn't figure it out either they kept thinking I was saying the rotate didnt work once I got it through that the screen rotated just fine they gave up.
My wallpaper rotates, just enabled it to test, as I really dont like it to rotate
Ever since the April Security Patch (the May Security Patch didn't fix it), I have also been unable to get the wallpaper on other launchers to rotate no matter what I do. I have sent two reports to Samsung via Samsung+ Feedback. One message was responded to and they basically forwarded my log data to their research team and the feedback rep is supposed to reply as soon as he gets info from the research team. The second message has yet to be responded to.
I got a reply saying "I would like to inform you that wallpaper and home screen will not rotate when the auto rotate is enabled, only the screen will rotate."
Whatever that means...

Sounds like they're saying that it's working as intended.
Yes, me too. Samsung Note 8 SM-N950F. Not sure if it's a Nova update or the fact that my phone updated to Oreo. Following...
So, I've been searching for a while, to see if anybody has found a solution. I can confirm, this has to be something that was disabled by Samsung, in Touchwiz or whatever the heck they rebranded the UI to. I use Nova Launcher, but switched back to the Samsung UI, just to toggle off the Portrait mode, but that doesn't make any difference for the Wallpaper rotating. This has to be one of the biggest "fail" updates that I've seen Samsung do. What makes even less sense to me is that, the Tab S4 that I just purchased, has no problem rotating the wallpaper. Did they think that people just wouldn't need it for phones, so they just disable it?
If anybody has found a solution (either via app or side-loaded apk), please update on this post.
I noticed this on my Note8, now on my Note9, as well as my relatives that have S8's and S8+'s. I seriously don't know why they disabled wallpaper rotation, if they started offering homescreen rotation. It literally makes no sense, especially since their newest tablet offering does it without issue.
Word is, from what I've read elsewhere, this was done by Google. Why? Who the H knows! Gotta be one of the friggin dumbest 'updates' I've ever seen from them. Bought a Note 9 and have tried every fricking setting and whatnot to get that stupid paper to rotate with no luck. Just stupid. Seriously, Google?!?
It has been many months, but after Pie update, I still have this problem.
Do they fired the guy and forget the problem? Or do they just dont care about the user.
Supposed his Highness Alfabet, decided in ours poor favour.
And a rotating wallpaper is totally disturbing.
Unnecessary.
Why an user may need to choose????
If someone ask, tell him: Intended and bye.
I will eat one more cookie arround and get back to work...
My wallpaper on my Note 8 never rotated when I disabled portate mode on my device...... I think this feature may only be available on tablets rather than mobile devices.
I don't know what happened, I was going to pair my smart watch (non-samsung) to my S21 Ultra but it wouldn't, so I rebooted the phone, and it rebooted with the One UI launcher instead of Nova Launcher, so I switched back to Nova, checked the default setting in Nova settings and it was still set to Nova as the default, when trying to leave the Nova settings, it again returned to One UI home, so I checked in settings for default apps, and Nova is still set to the default. So I tried force stopping One UI home, and return home, and again, it opens One UI home, it will not open Nova anymore.
I tried rebooting again, and oddly enough, Nova was the default launcher again. Figured it was just a glitch so I went on with my day and it just happened again but I haven't touched anything, it was on my desk all day untouched and when I picked it up, One UI launcher again.
Now, no matter how many times I reboot, it will always pick the One UI launcher, but the weird thing is when I'm in Nova, I can't swipe to go home because it's already on the default launcher, but when in an app, I swipe to go home and it goes to One UI home, and swiping to go home does nothing within that launcher as well.
So some how, not sure what happened, but the phone is using both launchers at the default now and there's no way to stop One UI from opening.
I don't know if anyone else is having this issue, or if there's a fix for it, but would removing One UI with ADB (if possible) cause issues? Like if I force remove this with ADB will the phone even boot to a different default launcher if One UI home isn't there anymore?
I would do more testing but this is my daily driver so I don't wanna mess with it too much, but this is really annoying that it keeps defaulting to One UI home.
I was having the same issue at first. What I did to fix it was set OneUI as default, exit the menu. Go back into that menu and then change back to Nova Launcher. Reboot. It took a couple of tries repeating the same process, but it eventually sticks. I haven't had any issues since.
Also, side note. The Samsung widgets that aren't transparent, first set them up in OneUI with the settings you want them at. Then when you go back Nova Launcher, remove the the original and readd them. There is only 1 widget that I can't get to go transparent, Reminders.
