Is there a way to install a OEM TM2 Rom on the HTC Pure?
I have both phones and downloaded the newest ROM for TM2 and tried to install it on the Pure, but it failed.
Reason for OEM Rom is the Nordic language pack.
thanks
Morten

Hello !
Which HTC ROM do you wish to use ?
The easiest way to flash you device is to use the modified ROM installer with SSPL and the shipped HTC ROM.
But you will loose your Orange ROM for ever.
I like use the latest version that htc have with the gps activated.
I have been reading many post but I don't know how it is done...
I have a problem, I can't download the spanish version from htc webpage because my imei isn't of htc.
just flash an updated radio ROM with the GPS activated.
Not sure if you need to CID unlock it or not though. MAybe someone else can answer this.
I have UK Orange ROm and the latest radio version for Trinity Trinity_Radio_ROM_1.41.00.11_by_ZakMcRofl

Extract the NBH and use CustomRUU / SSPL to flash it.
hello, I'm triying extract the nbh but I have a file .exe...
It works with any version of bootloader?
Hello !
It will works with any version of the bootloader, and your bootloader will be updated.
For the nbh : usualy I'm using Winrar to do this job.
Just open winrar and then double-click the .exe of the HTC ROM Updater.
Keep only the .nbh in it (the biggest file...) and then use it with the Custom updater and SSPL...
For the custom updater and SSPL, iIf you need help have a look at here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=295113

I'm trying to figure out which ROM I would use to flash my phone back to factory. It was bought unlocked with mobile 5, then HTC offered the upgrade to 6.0 I could probably get the 6.0 link back from HTC, but I would like to flash it to stock 6.1. English, unlocked, but running on Tmo now. I would like to not use a Tmo flash.
So, which would I use?
Hi there,
unfortunately there is no official WM 6.1 for the Herald. If you wanna switch back to a stock ROM you have to choose between WM 5 and WM 6.

i'm looking for a original rom because of the "vodafonized" rom that comes with the JADE in Spain is slower then having an touch S with 200Mhz processor.
i have try to download original english rom:
HTC Touch 3G - English ROM for Middle East
but, when i set the serial number (i have a jade), i get this message:
"Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device."
why? there are diferent hardware types?
Did you try the stock Asia (HK) WWE ROM??
HardSPL first, then flash stock ROM...
nicodbgh, because HCT wont that you install ROM differ from your Jade native region. Thats all. Even you download any ROM in other language here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=483681 - you cant install it without HSPL. This is like patch for mobile. After you instal it - you can reflash any Jade ROM you want.
Thanks a lot chanaev, i'll star doing bakcup of the original-vodafonized-sapanish rom on weekend befores starting with hardspl.

Hi Brother,
Hope u don't mind I am going to ask a simple question. First of all, what HardSPL reall mean? Second, anyway I can get a stock Asia (HK) WWE rom? Mine came with the Traditional Chinese rom when I bought it. Thanks!
hi all,
i have 2 questions:-
1. mine d2 was original 6.1 english and i upgrade it to 6.5 english on last nov. from htc site. for some reason i want to change it back to official chinese (since my friend's d2 is chinese so i can have his serial number to download from htc site). is this possible? what i mean is other than the rom is different between chinese and english but the rest of everything in d2 is same?
2. if it is possible. then in case error occur during the process to change to chinese rom, can i flash (call this progress "flash" i guess) back to the english?
any reply would be appreciated.

It is possible to flash a different rom than the original one. Once you download appropriate file from htc website using Chinese TD2 serial, you will have to unlock you Topaz using hard-spl. Otherwise you'll get an error message during flashing (no other consequences, you'll still have your "old" rom). You can find more about flashing a new rom in the forum section dedicated to rom developement. Good luck!
Hey,
I've got a o2 branded HD7 (original latest mango rom) which is developer unlocked using apphub.
Was just wondering if there was a way to unbrand it?
Thanks.

delete the O2 Apps, flash a Europe (aka Unbranded) Shipped ROM, or flash a Custom ROM.
for the last two... link to a tutorial in my signature, if needed.
My HD7 was like yours but ended up flashing the NewTech ROM,
there are too many restrictions and not enough features to a stock phone.
