[Q] Random network disconnect

Hi all, recently I tried to install some 2.2 ROMs on my cappy, currently I'm on 2.1 stock (jf6).
I tried Axura 2.2, Perception 8, Cognition 7, Killer23d's Doc_V4 Final XXJPU + JL3
All of these had UGJK3/4 modem, or in case of last one - TLJL3 modem.
On all these I get the same issue - like 8 times a day my phone is disconnected from network (looks like airplane mode, but it's not, since from the state i'm getting i can't get to airplane mode on, it's busy forever changing state to on)
The only way to reconnect is rebooting...
Anyone had issues like this? Had the fixed?

Yeah it happens to some of us--don't know why. The only fix I've found is to have the rom/kernel/modem captivate based. Here's a thread that has some options that might work for you...

Its a known issue with jk3 and 4 roms/modems. Funny thing is it only happens to some of us, not all.
I'm using Cog 2.3b6 because it was the last jj4 rom, no issues at all.

[Q] lost my stay awake setting after upgrade to 2.2.1

Hi there. just upgraded my sgs to
2.2.1
PDA JS4
PHONE JP4
CSC JS4
Now i cannot find the setting to keep my screen on while charging?
Its not in the section Applications, Development...Stay awake is no longer there..
Any ideas, thanks

Put some mod like Darkys Rom. That feature was removed on 2.2.1

Install widgetsroid and put a stay awake while charging toggle on your desktop.

Co-Pilot will work fine, it overrides the screen off

Help me with wifi problems... always autodisconnects

Hello everybody,
I really hope someone can help me with my wifi problems.
My wifi automatically disconnects. Its is not sleeppolicy or what ever.
The time between every disconnection is random.
It is really annoying when I use msn or when I am downloading something on my phone
First I thought that is was a rom problem, but it is not... I've been on different roms like stock, darkys rom and now CM7 Nightlies #95. With every rom I used I had this problem.
I think it has something to do with my installed apps. I always restore them with titanium backup but I have never restored the data or systemapps... so this is not a problem right??
When I kill al the running apps, the disconections stop for a minute or two but after that it......
It is really annoying and I hope someone could help me
Btw when I disable wifi I don't have any problems.

[Q] Automatic call answer

Hi,
i have a problem:
after a normal reset my milestone is answering every phone call automaticly after a few seconds.
I tried to reset it again, doesn't work.....
I couldn't find anything in the internet....
An app for automatic answers doesn't word either !
Does anybody has a clue how to dissable that ?!

Wi-fi always on?

hi, i'm new here and didn't found nothing to fix my problem.
I'm trying to use my wifi always on, i already set the wifi-policy on always but it still disconnects when my screen turns off so i'cant get notifications like mail, whatsapp, steam, etc.
i already tried with the different "wi-fi lockers" in the market but nothing.
my previous phone (galaxy 5) didn't have this problem so i think the router it's not the problem.
also, i'm using this baseband "S5830CVJKL4" and obviously in a 5830m (same as c and i)

If you are rooted....use spare parts.

the wi-fi option in spare parts it's the same of settings>wi-fi>advanced, doesn't work.

Is your mobile data/roaming turned on ?

Are you using a battery saver (juice defender, for example)? If so, make sure you don't let it control your wifi.

i'm not using battery savers and my mobile data is turned off.
i'll try with a different baseband today, not sure if that have something to do with the wifi.

Weird, i use advanced wifi locker for another tablet that i got that problem and fixes it, though, i noticed that works in some roms and in others don't.
Anyways maybe is because the rom? i use the stock galaxy one and i don't need to use 3rd party to get the wifi on always.

well, aparently IT IS my router, tested in a friend's home with his wifi and didn't have this problem.
weird, the problem it's only when my screen is off, i guess i'll call my internet provider tomorrow, thanks guys.
