Ugh, I can't purchase it, I was hoping this problem would go away when I got the Nexus S. Problem: Can't purchase any app that is priced in euros.

The app's author made a video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KD5WD-HDagM&feature=player_embedded
EDIT: Looks slow because I think the video was made using the Android Emulator rather than an actual device. Just pointing that out before folks start going "omgitsslowzz"
just purchased and it does seem a lot slower than LP. luckily i was able to return within the 15 minutes.
It's blazing fast on my NS and my N1

So far, other than the nifty new animations, app drawer, presets, it looks the same as the free ADW.Launcher which I currently use and my favorite. More than likely I'll buy it, once I finish watching the video.
Differences between ADW.Launcher and ADWLauncher EX
ADWLauncher EX is based on the ADW.Launcher opensource code with a lot of new additions and improvements, like for example:
5 different app drawer styles/behaviors
3D Nexus One like applications drawer
2 different plain vertical applications drawers styles, the “old one” and a new fast and smooth one
2 different Iphone-like horizontal applications drawers, a traditional paginated one and a new one with continuous fling
Different desktop transitions (8 at the moment): new animations while navigating through your desktop screens. Try them all, they’re crazy!!!
New Icons configurations/look and feel: Tweak your desktop icons, change its sizes, add coloured backgrounds, change font size, color, etc!
New fast presets mode: Quickly change the whole desktop configuration by 1 click!
Editable desktop icons for applications, shortcuts and folders!
Lots of code improvements
More, more more to come!!

What if I already have the free ADW.Launcher? Does buying EX mean I have to reset all my options and homescreens, or is there a way to transfer them over?
My god.. this is the shiiit!... the shiiiit!!
Most badass laucher ive tried..
Fast preset on galaxy s(jpu+voodoo5.0.3), If i lunch any program(s) and compare to Lp ex... best launcher so far, hands down allahterror kneestand.. whatever, its the ****.!

Probably new shrug. Try backing it up and see if it works.
It worked! but you have to rename the original adw.launcher backup file to the EX backup file.
ADW.Launcher backup files:
adw_launcher.db
adw_settings.xml
Rename both to adw_ex_launcher.db and adw_ex_settings.xml
Course you'll need to readd your widgets though. But most of the settings transfer over.

You need to swipe down on the dock itself. Put an app in that 2nd dock, it'll make it easier.
Hm... LP still seems smoother to me. And LP still doesn't feel as smooth as it does on my N1 or Vibrant... guess I'll have to wait for a gingerbread compatible LP.

It's like ADW meets MIUI. I loved the fact that I could have 5x5 on my launcher screen, but it contributed to my phone freezing. Might look into it after the kinks are worked out, but not till then.....
lol. old thread. but yes it is quite awesome. im using it as my default now.
Go Contacts is pretty nice too
I love this launcher. The only thing I wish it had was a 3D app drawer.

Haha what? They're both launchers yes. Its not a rip anymore than Touchwiz is a rip of adw
Captivating
Please add option to hide home icon at the bottom and tabs on the top of app grid (and extend grid to 4x6 or 5x7)
It would be nice to be able to reduce swipe actions sensitivity. I use phone with resistive screen so wrong swipes instead of clicks are often.
p.s. folders in app grid on HVGA screen looks ugly Its hard to visually separate them from other icons
I was liking this launcher, but it loses the widgets on every screen every so often...but ALWAYS on a reboot..so its kind of a pain
Mikey, I really could use your help reallly quick!
I'm trying to theme Go Launcher, but I can't find where the icons for the dock are stored at.

Anyone still using this? 2.53 is fine, once upgraded to 2.55, the wallpaper is shrinked and colors and icons have shadows and display weirdly.
I am emailing the dev now hope they can fix it soon.

I found a version of the Sony Xperia Arc Launcher that works on all Galaxy S models. I have tweaked it to remove unimportant little things, and make it transparent, and a few other things that I hope you enjoy. It is lightweight and simple, it works as a better alternative to a similar to stock (Touchwiz) look, its minimal and incorporates a sexy transparent theme to it. Also, it has the option that uses FOLDERS, like the iPhone and MIUI. Thanks to backhead92 for the modification to fit our phones from here. For those of you who hate lag, this launcher does not lag at all in the home screen mode or in the app drawer, nonvoodoo. I'm sure it's even faster with Voodoo. Hope you like the little modifications.

I've been thinking about it but I'm really busy with my last semester of college and job offers. Once I get this job and graduate I'll most likely put a good chunk of time into compiling roms together. They'll most likely be similar to Adrynalyne's roms but have great themes. As of now though, I don't have much time or the knowledge to develop a successful rom. Thanks for your support though.
Is there anyway to use custom icons for the folders? I've been messing around with this for a couple days and my main complaint is that the stock folder icons are boring. Pretty cool launcher though, thanks for posting.

Would an icon pack change the default icons of various apps or provide more templates to choose from in the folder section?
Not really sure as to what icons would be good. I'm running mob's honeycomb theme so anything that works with that would be cool. I know someone posted all the default honeycomb icons in this forum recently and I could link those if you'd like to use them.

It does not work on a normal Galaxy S.. D:
Any help would be appreciated... : D
Sounds like this launcher will run really fast on slower devices, eg HTC Legend.
I will try this on a normal Galaxy S (I9000).
It looks pretty good, actually looks alot like my custom GTG launcher.
1) It has 5 homescreens instead of 7, no biggie.
2) The app launcher has 3 action buttons (alphabetical order, home button, edit mode) on the bottom (my launcher just has the home button, normal TouchWizz has the App-toolbar on the bottom).
3) Q: Does it have a landscape mode?

Hi guys! I use GoLauncher EX themes all the time on my Nexus and wonder if there's any alternatives?
There's ADW launcher EX and Launcherpro plus but you have to pay for them to get all the features.
I used Launcherpro for nearly 2 years and I tested Go launcher recently. There's so many options in Go launcher that so far I don't see any reasons why I'd use any other launchers for now.
There's other launchers too like spb shell (15$? lol),zeam, quickdesk and alot more.
But I haven't tested them :/.
ADW EX is pretty close to go launcher. Alot of options.

Zeam is nice cut and dry
I'm a big fan of ADW EX. I've tried about all of them and always come back. You'll find people that love it like me and others that hate it, but I guess it's all about personal preference.
I've used launcher pro, asw, zeam, and go launcher and I much prefer go launcher. Fast, stable, lots of options, good widgets, and free.

I'm a big Launcher Pro fan but not being able to lock the launcher was killing me. I've tried ADW, Regina, QQ, and Go, my favorite is Zeam but it doesn't support scrollable widgets...
I'm sticking with GO for now as I can lock the screen so my son doesn't uninstall things nor can he move my homescreens
Ok, I've tried ADW. Works well, but if I compare it with GO Launched I would still prefer the latter.

the free version of ADW lacks a lot of features
to be as good as Go Launcher EX, you will need to purchase the paid version of ADW EX
it's really hard to find anything that can compare up to Go Launcher EX
even i'm in search of a better Launcher, but nothing measures up to now.
I do not dislike Go Launcher EX
just the people making themes for it are all into money, it's getting harder and harder to find good free themes
all the good themes that was available in the market were removed by the DEV and replaced with a paid version of the same.
Have a try

Hi,
Im aware that when one decides to go with another launcher you lose the stock widgets. Im using nova but I really miss the stock clock and weather. Ive used all the other widget apps (bw,hd icons etc etc) but I find its still not as nice as the stock. Is there a way I can flash it over the nova launcher?
I use nova for the scrollable dock and customizable transitions thats all, so what if it were the other way around....could I just used the scrollable dock and customizable transitions on stock launcher, if there was such a way??

Yeah, its what I figured... I thought there be some sort of possibility as I dont see this feature talked about very much and correct me if Im wrong but it cant be a huge job to integrate this into stock launcher, right? I finally have a phone graphically powerful enough to run scrollables and transitions flawlessly...yet it cant be customized on stock? Maybe Im dwelling on a tiny feature too much,,,,

Go launcher ex. It has a sense theme you need to install and it allows you to use the sense widgets. It's highly customizable and allows for a LOT of options. I also added their lockscreen add-on and notification icon add-on. You'll have to play with it to get it like you want it but it let me keep the sense and add screens and scroll effects.

Same here. Tried Nova but didn't like it.
Depends on your preference, and what you're looking for out of each launcher.
Bells and whistles are fun, and with the hardware of the Note 4, it'll handle most RAM guzzling launchers smoothly.
That said, you can't beat Nova for pure functionality.
HOWEVER, if you like a bit of eye candy, and use other apps (ie. LazySwipe, LMT) to compliment your launcher, then I'd suggest giving a few others a try:
1) Aviate - good balance of functionality mixed w/ a bit of Google Now intuitiveness. Bit of a battery hog, but not enough to complete hate it.
2) Next Launcher 3D - amazing aesthetics w/ a lot of customization. Borders on overkill, but is fun to play around with.
3) Buzz Launcher. Functional, w/ plenty of user-submitted skins to apply.
Nova Prime. Been using it for years.
FireKat V10 modded 5x6 TouchWiz launcher. Love it.

Try out the regular Nova Launcher. You get most of the features and can easily get the feel for the launcher. You can also easily see in the app what additional features you gain by purchasing.
I moved to Nova on my Note 3 and have used it consistently ever since. I've tried others but they never hold up against Nova. Nova is quick and responsive. Great support for widget and shortcut placement resizing and editing and no extemporaneous bloat that just slows things down.

And my response was: try out the free version and see if you like it. Only a few features are reserved for the paid version and they are visible in the launcher settings so you can see, after playing with the launcher, if those extra features are something you would want to pay for.
Lexun home if you like any launcher just like windows phone
You get plenty of option to download themes although the pre loaded theme is very bad i would say
