[Q] Lost Ability to Add Widgets - Nook Color General

So after my nook did a reset/update, I had to reroot and now I've lost the ability to add widgets to my screen? Anyone else had this problem?

What launcher are you using?

ADW, but I've tried Zeam, and ProLauncher to no avail. I'm just rerooting to see if my problem is with my Titanium backups.

anyway to save/backup how you set up the sense/launcher/home app? I use astro and titanium to backup, but I haven't seen my widgets/shortcuts return to where the were after restoring.
I'm really looking for sense UI, but I'm sure other people are interested in a solution for their home app of choice.

In titanium restore [desktop] htc sense 1.00 it will put all your widgets back on your home screens.. Beware if you did not install all the widgets they will still show up but only as generic icons

[Q] installing apps thru market

Reboot and/or install a launcher like Zeam or Launcher Pro.

[Q] weird app drawer/extras behavior

So I have a new freshly autonootered NC (1.1.0 w/AN3) and running Go Launcher EX as my primary launcher.
From reading, I expected newly installed apps to show in the Go Launcher app drawer but not in Extras until a reboot.
However, what I'm getting is LOTS of my installed apps never showing up in the Go Launcher app drawer but always showing up in Extras.
Anybody else see this behavior? Is it a Go Launcher peculiarity perhaps?

Save Apex Launcher Theme?

Hi, is it possible to save a modified apex launcher theme or the positions and the mapping of the icons?
looking for one as well
or can i save it with an app?
Titanium Backup backups the app and it's data. Just make sure you have your modified icons in the same folder when you restore.

I'd like to think its possible either through TBU or the apex backup that i could save my layout. So far, whenever I change or update my rom, when I restore either the TBU or restore apex from backup, it doesn't place my icons and widgets. It only restores my settings (# of screens, transition effects, etc) but not my icons or widgets. Am I missing something or is that just the way it is?

[Q] Trying to use a different launcher

Hi everyone.
I've been trying to keep from rooting my KF HD and decided to sideload some of my launchers from my GSII. But when I install ADW, GO and Nova they all install correctly but they don't show up in my app list except for ADW. And ADW opens fine and lets me customize the home screens and everything but I cant set it as the default home screen.
Can anyone help me or explain why this is happening.
Thanks
ADW is the only one that functions correctly on a non-rooted device. Don't have a reason why though, but apparently Amazon wanted to lock out alternative launchers.
If you root, you can put the launcher apk in system/app, install and can set the home button defaults. I personally got go launcher ex to function, though I believe others have managed to get other launchers to work.
Otherwise non-rooted, ADW will function but you can't change the defaults.
