If you can't get it to work I had to remove the original app then rename the zip to .apk and install it through package installer.

I made it flashable for me through clockwork....as the other didn't work. This just gives a couple options. Thanks mysteryemotionz for the link!

I had DL30 and loved the Samsung Keyboard, actually preferred it above the android, swype and gingerbread keyboards.
So i went ahead and I pulled the AxT9IME.apk and libXt9core.so out of DL30 and put it onto EB01. rebooted my phone and the Samsung keyboard came up as an option. Selected it and it just force closes until I switch back to another keyboard.
Does anyone have any idea what I should do to get this to run correctly? Am i missing another lib.so file?
Any help would be great. Thanks
Thanks imnuts for posting the zip file.
***See post 11 to download!
there was talk about this in the irc today...the file you need that makes the keyboard work with eb01 is actually from a captivate rom. it is called libdhwr.so. its working on my phone, but i dont have a link to the file anymore. ill see if i can link it to you somehow.
heres a link to the file... http://db.tt/xoNjtyc. ..i take no credit for this...someone else figured it out (sorry i forgot your name)
So where do u apply this file

i used root explorer and put it in system/lib...make sure you also put the apk file in system/app.
Awesome thanks guys that worked perfectly.
Anyone have a link to the apk

grab file from the link above (libdhwr.so) and then down load DL30 to extract the files in my original post.
Then using root explorer put AxT9IME.apk in system/app folder
Then put libXt9core.so and libdhwr.so in system/lib folder.
I just rebooted and then the keyboard was there.

CWM zip attached
Imnuts. Flashing that by itself would give me the keyboard?
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App
Man I love the design of the Samsung kb but I really don't like the auto correct or whatever. When I'm typing it feels like the keys are shifting or something even though they don't appear to be? I hope that makes sense. Lol
auto correct can be disable in setting under language & keyboard then choose Samsung keypad. look through there and you will find the options to disable auto correct.
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App
You can also use Rom manager to install zip or using Rom manager to install with sos3's build your own setup and just download the Samsung keypad.

Yes. It has the two libs and the apk file that were mentioned in an earlier post and will put them in the appropriate places.
Thanks a lot, imnuts.

Not flashing for me either with CWM 3.1.0.1 says "Amend scripting is no longer supported. It was necessary to remove it when upgrading to the Clockworkmod 3.0 Gingerbread based recovery. Please switch to Edify scripting (update-script and update-binary) to create working update zip packages"
Which I do not know how to do. Please help.
Same message here. Not flashing.
Pull it from the zip and install it like an app from your card. Works great.
Extracted with root explorer and moved to sys/apps, worked. Thanks

The .so file needs to be edited. In the orginal zip you can find it.
But from my experiences it just bricks the phone.
Anyone know how to package miui icons for use with theme manager. I've done a couple of different options but nothing seems to catch. I've loaded the zip to the SD card, that didn't work. I've also changed the extension to mtz and that didn't work. Etc....anyone got any advice what or how to go about it. Thanks in advance

+1 I would like to know how to do this as well.
Yeah I found some real cool icons on deviant art but can't get the ron to recognize them
Sent from my SCH-I500 using xda premium
Yeah, I have a folder of Edius icons (over 500) that are properly named according to app, but I can't figure out how to put it into a mtz to use.
Swyped from my MIUI'D Fascinate.
The easiest way would be to find an icon pack for miui and just delete the icons out of it and paste yours in. Use 7-zip and you shouldn't even need to extract or re-zip anything. When you put it back in to theme manager just keep in mind that the name will be the same as whatever icon pack you used.
That's what I was thinking about doing
Sent from my SCH-I500 using xda premium
I packaged my own fonts to use with Miui with a custom .xml file. I just basially just replicated one from a font package I already had downloaded and that seemed to work. However I copied the setup from an icon package .xml file and that won't work at all. I'm not really sure what to do about that, and noone on here seems to be very helpful. Maybe I posted this in the wrong forum.
App2zip does not work for all the devices, it's still experimental and not widely tested, so first of all, especially before backing-up something important, make some test to see whether it works for you (e.g. open App2zip and put in the flashable zip some apps you don't really care, uninstall them and then restore the zip via CWM recovery).
---------------------------------------------------
App2zip allows to backup applications directly to a zip file flashable via CUSTOM recovery, you can build your own update.zip on the fly, no need for PC.
ROOT REQUIRED!
Building your flashable zip is easy:
1) Choose the apps to be included in the zip file
2) Click GO! and wait until the zip is done. That's it!
Even system apps can be included in the zip file but make sure they don't have dependencies and they don't share data with other system apps (otherwise they won't be restored properly).
Restore via stock recovery is not supported yet.

When it only backs up the apk, I can do that manually also. Take a filemabager and copy my wanted file to my saving place.

Use zip from attachment, open in eg. winrar, (don`t extract), and place your apks in /apps, close (winrar), install zip with CWM.
Thx i will give IT a try. when i extract IT and repack it isnt IT working anymore and when why?sry For questions but i always want To learn
Sent from my LG-P990 using XDA
Possibly you have to resign the zip, if you extract and repack it.
