Perhaps I'm just confused, but the newest I see available for the Nexus One is version 1.6. When I reboot my phone into recovery, it says clockworkmod recovery version 2.5.x (can't remember exact version). What gives?
Current version is 2.5.1
@ninjai117, if you are referring to version mentioned in the forum post... it's very old and has not been updated... the actual current version of Clockwork recovery is 2.5.1.0 though there is also a test version 2.5.1.4...

Has this happen to anyone yet? I don't have a recovery, it just reboots into fastboot and if I choose recovery it reboots to fastboot... Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

If this happens to you, do the logical thing, or obvious. Flash the alternate recover which is "RA Recovery v1.7.01.1". For some reason ROM Manager v1.8.9.6 is not flashing the Clockwork Mod Recovery v2.0.0.7 correctly despite the fact it shows a success alert.
Same problem here but with the FRF72 , I am root but can not get in to recovery, or get the root fix working.forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=706232[/url].
Okay the RA was not reading my SD card and the Clockwork Mod Recovery v2.0.0.7 was not working either. So now what I did was, in ROM Manager scroll all the way to the bottom and choose "All ClockWorkMod Recoveries" and Flashed the 2.0.1.0, or perhaps choose something higher than the version you already have or is the latest.
Got version 6.x.x installed,The problem is was this a Latest build?if any of you knew there was a latest version can i have the link for that?2nd,Do this CWM support backup to EXTERNAL SD CARD?Very, very confusing here...:crying:
I'm about to update my wife's i9000, but I wanted to make sure it had the latest available recovery on it. I did a search over at TWRP, but it doesn't look like they have a recovery for the i9000. I checked out the CWM website, and they're showing 2.5.1.2 as their latest offering.
I searched through the development forum for "TWRP", "CWM" and "Recovery"...and I didn't (easily) find what I was looking for.
I checked the recovery currently installed on the phone, and it's showing CWMP Touch 5.5.0.4. Is this the latest available for this phone?
I must not be on the latest...I just got a Status 7 error.
Heyy Everyone..
I am running DDLSC(4.1.2) on my Galaxy Note. When I checked the version of the CWM Recovery installed on my device (Philz Kernel), it shows 6.0.3.2 but when I checked on the CMW Website, it shows the latest version of CWM for N7000 as 6.0.4.3.
Now, can anyone tell me how to update my phone to this CWM Recovery Version? I don't mind using some other Kernel or anything, but I want it to be a Safe Kernel for my device..
Please help me!

There is absolutely no point in upgrading from your current version t a more recent one, it won't be any safer, it won't introduce better performance nor any new features. Second of all, you would have to change the kernel to change your recovery and there aren't any other kernels with a newer CWM recovery version.
Okkay! So, can you tell me a way to install CM 11 on my device??
Check the cm11 beta 7 by herna on the android development section.

Hi all.
My model is the L.
I've managed to get the CWM 6.0.5.0 // 6.0.2.7 // 6.0.2.8
Which should I install?
Now I'm with ALL stock (JB Stock ROM; kernel, unroot). Planning to flash a custom ROM KK.
Thanks!
use twrp from novafusion!!!
Version 6.0.2.7 is supposedly the one to use on this phone, according to the list in the 'ROM Manager' section in the CWM website. But just like @tobi-19777 said, you're better of with TWRP by NovaFusion, which you can find in the 'Downloads' section in their website.
