[Question] XML for taskbar

Which XML file(s) do I need to change to swap the task bar text, and the icon backgrounds, from white to black?

[Q] Theming: Text color

I've been experimenting a bit with theming by just replacing .png's in SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk. But now I need to change the text color of the notifications in the pull-down. Can anyone just give me a quick tutorial on how to do this?

I'd actually love to know this info as well! I'm trying to change the text color to white, but I haven't been able to figure out which xml file makes the change in Gingerbread.

Change the secondary text colour of our system.........
framework-res/res/values/colour.xml/secondary_colour..
If you not getting how to do....then wait...i will write a guide to change all text colour of andro.... :good::good::good::good:

In framework styles add your textColor to this style
<style name="TextAppearance.Widget.IconMenu.Item" parent="@style/TextAppearance.Small">
<item name="textColor">@color/your_color</item>
</style>

Does anyone no what files need to be edited to change the colour of the subtext in the Settings menu screens? on Gingerbread its a xml called subtext colour but im on ICS and cant find that xml.
