From What i've Done,
Copy/Paste Apk to System/Media
Change Permission,
Move Apk to system/App
Be sure the Apk Name Should be Have No Space.
e.g Nova Launcher.apk Rename to NovaLauncher.apk
Permission :-
[x][x][0]
[x][0][0]
[x][0][0]
Reboot.
Hope Its Working
Sorry but can i put apk in sys(app) with root explorer.Or push is a different one

Its same, push is done using adb... u cn paste it n set permissions appropriately...
But remember, there sbould be no spaces in the name of file pasted in system/app... 'my file.apk' is wrong, 'myfile.apk' or 'my_file.apk' is right...

If i remember correctly NOVA Launcher is ANDROID 4.0.1+
ALSO try installing them instead of putting them in /system/apps if you want it in /system/apps look for the launchers on here and insert them into the .zip (the rom file) instead makes live tad easier. also save's ****ing about with the permissions
im correct about NOVA, so yea your pissing against the wind with that one

Um ok. Was hoping I can add files. Didn't know it was embedded into an apk. I downloaded a bunch of them and all are showing up in my gallery.

:silly: Looks too complicated for me. Haha!
You can find stock wallpapers on a Samsung folder.... you can try searching it as well for the name of that wallpaper in ROOT explorer... Root explorer has a search function where you can search the specified file... you can try that as well.
Also try \system\framework\framework-res.apk->\res\drawable\default_wallpaper.jpg
all system wallpapers are there in TwWallpaperChooser.apk

Xperia T - Bond Edition (Skyfall Theme)

part 1 - https://www.sendspace.com/file/mzq5qi
part 2 - https://www.sendspace.com/file/vhbivc
Here are the original images, wallpapers, ringtone/notification and theme file from the Bond Edition Xperia T.
Needs root to get the actual theme installed, but can have the ringtone & notification anywhere as usual ringtones and select.
Skyfall.apk needs to be copied to 'system/vendor/overlay/framework' folder and permissions changed and reboot!
Thanks to JJD809 who kindly provided the Bond content.
If preferred anyone with a mediafire account could add this content as sendspace link will not last forever.
UPDATE:
TiMiN8R said:
Sony changed the way the themes work on jelly bean so you can't use this one any more.
Download the new one here and put it in /system/app/ (not /vendor/overlay/framework like the old one) and set the permissions to rw-r--r-- (0644), then reboot.

I love you.
With the help of one of your threads, I successfully flashed my firmware on my Xperia T to get rid of the O2 branding. Before flashing I copied & saved the Skyfall.apk and the tones to the memory card in the hope of pasting them back to their folders. Didn’t realise that the folder would be un-writable. Can any one give me detailed instruction on how to get the Theme back on my phone. I used Flashtool to Flash Firmware and ES File Explorer to copy files to memory card.
Thanks in advance

Check the root thread and use the latest root script to root.
Use ES file explorer and copy the skyfall.apk back to the folder it was in. (see original post)

just change the extension to .apk
or, even better, use winrar or winzip to extract the files and move them manually

just a note...it might NOT be the system/app folder...
its 'system/vendor/overlay/framework' or where the other theme.apk files are saved.

You must make the folder R/W not just R/O
You need root to do this, and then just click on the grey R/W button in top right of root explorer

no, it has a launcher included, it will work with only that... if you want that on any launcher, try the uccw method here (credits - @Youngunn2008) but this will be a little different than the original

5x4 Modded Stock Launcher

I modded the stock launcher to have another row, thought I would share with everyone. Works really well, no issues at all for me. I threw a couple screenshots in there. The APK is attached. You may be able to install over the old launcher, but I wanted to back it up, so here's how I did it.
Requirements:
0. ROOT
1. Highly recommended to have another launcher just in case something goes wrong (like Nova Launcher)
2. The TouchWizHome.apk attached below.
3. A file manager with root access (Root Browser, ES File Explorer)
HOW TO INSTALL
1. Use a file manager to navigate to system/priv-apps/
2. Rename the TouchWizHome.apk file to something else (like TouchWizHome.apk.BAK)
3. Copy modded apk to the system/priv-apps/ folder.
4. Set permissions on the new apk to rw-r-r (see attached).
5. Reboot.
Hope you guys enjoy! = )
