Hi,
Anyone got Dungeon Defenders working on Nexus S 2.3.1?
I have installed, but when I started ... it just stayed at the first screen ...
Do I have to wait for couple of minutes?
I tried waited for about 2 minutes and nothing ...
Pressing buttons ... no response, except home button.
I am using stock ROM, un-rooted ...

It works fine for me. First time I booted up it downloaded almost 100mb then it started right up.
Try to install with wifi on and no usb data cable connected!

Did the same for me, I returned it. With 15 minute return policy there is no time for poorly coded apps.
Was the same with me, I tried sometime and than it just worked. Try to rename the funded folder in /sdcard to dundef.old and reboot and try again (connected to a work nw)

I fixed this by going to www.dungeondefenders.com/androidmobile
Then download the package manually (the 3rd one), and unzip it into the sd-card.
From my experience, Nexus S network connectivity is .... not as good as my HTC Desire (HTC you rocks!).
Now, I often got connection error during facebooking or web browsing (first time connection after using the phone) ... While I have never got that on HTC Desire.

Hey you guys, ive been using my N1 for about 10 months now, and lately its been a headache because I've been facing weird touch issues since about 7 months... and its getting worse every day...
Initially I thought that this problem was caused because I installed the HTC_IME keyboard that can be found here, I uninstalled it and the problem dissapeared but just for some weeks untill a few days ago, I installed the "gingerbread keyboard" and my problem reappeared, I have tried everything, wiped, flashed, wiping the KB data... and this issue is still there...
Sometimes Im writing and when I press (for example) the "E" button the phone puts hjk.. its practically impossible to write an sms or in gtalk, because when i write the nex letter "X" (for example) the phone puts yui, so instead of ex it appears hjkyui...
Im also facing the thing that you can see in the minute 2:09 of This Video (as far I know, every nexus one does this).
One thing that i noticed is that this issue started when i flashed my first Cyano rom! (I think).
This happens 6-8 times every day, i have to turn off the screen and turn it on again, but sometimes neither this solve the problem!
Is there a way to calibrate my screen? or any app to check if something is wrong?
Im begging for your help, Its very difficult to sell this phone in my country couse everybody uses blackberry... and i dont have the money to change it... Im using last nightlie build (295).
try a different rom... we all have the same touch screens so you problems cannot be any different than anyone elses... the biggest thing i have noticed is the problem starts when you rotate the phone alot
Ill try another rom tomorrow!
any other suggestions?
I have sometimes the keboard problem like yours it's rare. so far as I know you can't fix the touch problems it is there and will be forever. when typing sometime you can touch the screen with the inside of your hand and everything goes wrong then.
if you really having issues when typing you can turn off the screen and back on most of the time it acts normal again.

no i don't have that much, really maybe once a week or two.
Maybe your digitizer is broken. i have my nexus now for a year and never had that much problems with the touch screen.I only notice that the multi touch isn't good when playing games on it.
Im using my keyboard without the prediction and since yesterday I have not had any touch issue.
Ill continue using it that way and see how it goes!
Please keep us updated on the progress. I also have this issue. Uninstalled HTC_IME and replaced by SmartKeyboard Pro which solved the issue for a while but recently I have the issue again. Not too often but it indeed is annoying... Would love to see some ultimate solution to this because other than that I am very happy with Nexus.
PS using official OTA ROM (2.2.1 for now)
do you plug in your phone a lot? I find mine only plays up if I use it plugged in

It only happens to me about once or twice a week for the last year. It happens more often than not immediately after plugging in the charger.
Of course I use the day lights out of my phone, 2 charges a day with 6 hours of screen on time a day.

Well thats odd, each of us are facing different beginnings of this annoying issue!
I've noticed it happens whenever the phone gets hot, usually when charging via an AC adapter.

well, just for you to know, yesterday I chatted with my GF for like an hour and a half with it connected to the charger and not happened to me, im starting to think that this is caused by the auto complete option (which is odd too)
after 2 days of not having any issue, my touch went crazy again, but just a little, I was not charging it, it had the autocomplete option unticked, and it was liying on my bed couse I texted a lot today with my GF.
i did not turned the screen off, I i forced it to write what i wanted it to write... then i left it again on my bed, it turned its screen off and later another message came and it was just fine...
Ill continue testing it like this couse this time the issue was very short.
Its the digitizer. Its a flaw in the N1. But Ive also had the same expierence with launcher pro.

Is there any reliable way to check if its the very source of my trouble?
Any suggestions?
It doesn't matter what app you are doing on the phone at that particular time. It's a hardware defect and just happens wherever you are at the moment.
I've had it happen on the main home screen, typing a text with the keyboard, browsing the web, anywhere. Just a quick sleep the screen resets it back to normal.

I know and understand that, the problem here is that its happening too often that its annoying...
Just to let you know, sometimes i cant even use my phone, and as you said "Just a quick sleep the screen resets it back to normal" ive done it and nothing is fixed, i even wiped to factory settings and when the wipe is completed, my phone its still the same!
Try using another keyboard like swift key or something. You can calibrate the phone in your settings menu

So my brand new 24 hour old Xperia Z1 will not start and only goes to a blank screen with the backlight on. It does show the SONY splash screen before this for a second.
The only way to shut it down is to do an up volume and on button combo or to hit the red reset button.
I've tried starting with the SIM and SD Card out but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
The phone has pretty much not been used at all so I am a bit shocked. Is there any thing I can try? It was working last night.
24 hours out of the box, just send it back for a new one.
even if its starts working again, for a £600 device I would just send it back and say you are not happy and want a new one

I went off and left it for about 10 minutes and it did finally restart. I suppose there is some sort of software conflict issue going on.
I did a factory wipe and it runs like lightning now. No idea which app is causing the conflict.

This is one of the fastest phones on the market and this shouldn't be happening. After I did my restore I set up again and synched and auto-updated apps and I had the same problem. I then tried deleting all of my uploaded apps one by one until they were all gone but this didn't help and the boot times were still about 5 minutes, often with the phone booting without remembering the brightness setting or even not booting at all.
So I did a factory reset again but this time did not account synch on setup or auto update apps and that seems to have fixed it for me. The phone is very fast and boots in under 30 seconds now, and runs without any lag whatsoever. I wish I could identify specifically what the issue is but so far no luck.
Hi everyone.
I would like to report a pretty fightening situation I faced with my ONE this morning.
I was at a coffe shop conected with wifi and at some point I tried to run Antutu (which I had done lots of time since the 31st of October that I got my One) the dvice gave me a notification that Antutu didnt work and If I wanted to report the problem.
I did click on the report the problem and the phone became unresponsive.
I pressed the power button to see if I can restart the phone but instead the screen became black and would turn on.
Pressing power button long the capacivity buttons were flashing and thats all.
I returned home and I connected it to the charger but the LED light didnt come on.
I tried immediately to turn the device on and to my delight it did boot and worked fine.
I also noticed tryibg quadrant benchmark this afternoon did not work.
Almost performed the test but then it stopped of course I didnt push harder and uninstall quadrant and antutu as well.
Has anyone faced this before?
If that happens again how can I reboot the phone to escape the frozen screen?
That sounds like defective hardware. I think you need to exchange for a new one or send to HTC to be fixed.

Since its working and its fully functional I think I can leave without the prety much useless benchmark apps.
Funny part is that this is a replacement phone from HTC Europe because my HTC ONE X had a BSOD problem after they replaced my mainboard and battery after another problem.
All in all it was a deja vu for me to see my almost 10 days old HTC ONE do the same problem the HTC ONE X displayed.
Maybe there is some kind of curse on me.
There is an ex-girlfriend I suspesct........
I have a similar problem with my HTC One, which i bought back in July.
Sometimes the phone refuses to wake up, i have to hold the power key, together with the home key to make it reboot.
Other times the screen refuses to turn off and only rebooting as described above helps.
I waited for the upgrade to Android 4.3, hoping the problem would be fixed.
Unfortunately it didn't help. I also tried to hard reset and initialize the phone a couple of times, also without luck.
I also tried to run the phone without my apps to be sure the problem was not caused by any one of them.
Yesterday i initialized again and the phone worked without problems, so this morning i added WhatsApp.
Everything worked ok for a couple of hours, so i added 2 more apps (news reader and an app to control the heating).
After a few hours the problem reoccured so i removed the last 2 apps and rebooted. After a couple of minutes it got stuck again.
Since i'm struggling with this problem for some weeks now and it seems to become worse, i decided to request HTC to repair or replace my phone.
Two of my friends also own a HTC One and don't have this problem.
Maybe you should also consider to get in touch with HTC.
Good luck!
What rom's and kernels are you all running?
You should be finding some girls in the coffee shop but you try to run Antutu instead?

If a factory reset didnt fixed anything, you could try a RUU. Flashing a ruu will wipe everything, flash everything stock (both firmware and software).
If you still have that problem after flashing a ruu, then its most likely an hardware problem.
Hello all, since Tuesday my phone has been acting really weird. Pretty much any application I open, either it removes me completely from the app, it pauses or it skips. The games I play usually close out, YouTube or Any video on my phone pauses and if I'm sending a msg it will skip the letters, pauses and I have to exit out, reenter and finish the msg. The timing for everything is often sporadic. It goes about every 6 min, 1 min, 1 min then back to 6 min. I need help. Thank you

Is your phone rooted or running stock firmware? Have you tried both soft and hard reset?
It is an unlocked phone and I have done a soft reset on the device. I have had the device for over one year and this is the first issue I've had with the device.

Try to hard reset your device through recovery (Power off your device and press Volume Up+Power Button+Home Button simultaneously until you see samsung logo then release buttons after that you will boot into recovery from there choose clear system and data option) see if it helps..Download root checker application from play store and see if it runs, check your phone is rooted or not...Or another way you can flash stock firmware for your phone and country using odin..You can find stock firmware from sammobile.com website/firware/model no/country...Before it plese seek attention of senior members on forum, as your phone is unlocked one..Thank You
