LF:App to turn off SCREEN instead of backlight

does anyone know of an app that does this....
i would want it to work just like the backlight power saving option where u set it to turn off in a minute or 2
psShutxp comes close but u have to manually set it each time u turn the screen back on...
can anyone help...

there is an app Display Switch, it switches the display off when running it... didnt test it yet how it effects the sleep timer, but the display does go off when running it

at&t tilt: I absolutely hate sleep mode

Sleep mode screws up programs, some times it even turns off the sound by mistake. I have turned it off for the time being, is there anything else that better than sleep mode that I can use?

hmm i have no issues with sleep mode here.. what rom u using..

uncheck "Turn off device if not used for"
if you dont know where it is, search for it.

I am using the default at&t tilt rom.
I have turned off the sleep function, hopefully the battery won't drain
too much.

If I was having that much trouble out of sleep mode I would reflash and cross my fingers.

[Q] WiFi always on even when screen off

Hi,
I'm struggling to get WiFi to switch off when the screen goes off in CM7.
I've checked the advanced WiFi settings and it is indeed set to switch off when the screen goes off but it does not seem to work.
Any ideas?

Do not disturb and GPS

Hi,
I set Do not Disturb mode at night but it seems to desactivate itself around 7 in the morning. I switch it on and off myself, it's not programmed.
I searched around in settings but I don't know why it does that.
Second thing, GPS activates sometimes when I charge my phone or when I switch the wifi on.
Any ideas ?

Screen timeout

Hi guys,
I've been trying to find a solution to this issue for a while now and it's driving me crazy. I love my ROG II but my only complaint is that the screen timeout is SUPER short. Its like 10 seconds and then my screen goes dark. I have to constantly be touching my screen so it doesn't go to sleep while I'm watching a video or reading an article. Even when I'm trying to show someone a photo or anything on my screen they always say "Oh, it turned off". So annoying! I went through all the settings but can't find anything! Please tell me I'm missing it and that there is actually a solution to this! Thank you so much!

You should be able to change the time out in settings > display > sleep

It's currently set to 10 mins. Still goes to sleep after about 10 seconds of inactivity. ??
