Hi taz911
i had the same issue, its not a software problem, is a hardware problem, i just pull out the headphone jack out of the xperia, i dissambled.
my xperia has a hardware issue, some other owners only play with the metal stick inside the headphone jack and probably you can fixed it. i fixed that way once , but if you can fixed, i suggest you that dont use the headphone. try some bluetooth heaphone.
the mic stopped workins cause if says that you have the handsfree plugged in,so all the sound passes trought the headphone jack, you are unable to talk if the headphone icon appear in you xperia.
good luck!

I had the same problem several months ago.....Anyway itz not a software problem...so no need to flash your ROM...
Try plug-in & Plug-out the headphone several times(Mine got fixed this way)...& do have a check whether something got stuck inside the headphone port....

Hi,
I cant really get it, sometimes the original SE stereo headset is active.
I have not used it :-(
The stereo headset icon is behind the BT-ICON?
There is no sound during calls!
How to solve it?

hi,
yea i thought i had the same problem too, but apperently once yur on the call remove the headset jack n put it back again (mind u- this is during the call)... this somehow activates the mic on the headset n yur ready to babble on the handsfree (needs to be done almost every time u connect the headset - in short.. once for the full day)... also once on headset mode... pressing the connect/disconnect button on it twice... as in double-click opens the last call u made.. lemme know if this workd 4 u
Cheers
it's a hardware problem ...
Hello,
I've got a Bluetooth headset Jabra Clipper for 6 months now.
It's paired with my Diamond 2.
So, when I switch it on, the phone recognizes it.
But when I start playing music (with TouchFlo Audio Manager) the sound goes out of the internal speaker and is not redirected to the BT headset.
I've tried to hard reset the devices, both phone and headset and pair them again without installing and modifying anything, it still doesn't work.
To circumvent the problem, I must make the phone re-discover the headset, pretty annoying !
The problem appeared after I did a hard reset (for cleaning purposes); before it was working properly.
I've called Jabra support and they have no explaination.
They teached me how to reset the headset but it has no effect on my problem.
If somebody has an idea...
Thanks.
Does anybody has an idea about this problem ?
Thanks a lot.

I just want to ask .. I encountered this problem since i always connect to sbh20 my internal speaker wont work if i play music from walkman, system audio ringtone but works in alarm? I thought its just a audio bug because diagnost apps detect my speaker and works fine. I also encounter when im connecting sbh there some change that thw internal speaker work for about a sec then it will connect to sbh20. Is there any way to fix this aside of resetting or reflashing??
Running 4.4.2 kitkat btw
Thanks in advance
