How to add a theme

Hi guys:
I have tried every thing I knew but it seems I am doing something wrong...
Can you please tell me how to add theme to my device?
Here is what the theme looks like:

I am not sure if it is compatible with my device...if it's not then maybe we could some how manage to make it compatible.

Yeah it is.. Are you sure this is for a Windows Mobile phone?
Maybe this is something I should know but I don't. It's not the normal skin.

the reason iasked about seriousness is cuz when u download a theme it states for what os it is ... and if it is a wm theme than i don't see how installing a theme can be a problem

WWEEELLLLLL did you look at the file he linked?
The pics looks like windows mobile, but I think (strangly enough) that this is a theme to make vista look like windows mobile. Thems some strange files in that thar linked RAWR file, and what not.

I am sure it is for mobile phone device so far I have managed to get the welcome image and the calculater runing but the whole theme seems not working.

it's all in the link well the first part anyway

they got some various skin programs which one is required to buy to use their skins
which got capabilities far beyond that of normal wm skins
but i would try before buy though because it slows the device down somewhat
maybe not something kaiser really need

I have provided a link to where you can download the theme, and for what I know it is free.
my problem is I cant get it runing.

Yeah, with a million files I would think that it will slow it down.

yes the themes are all free but they are not wm themes they are wizbar advanced desktop or some of the others wizbar program themes and those programs required to run your free theme cost money as is shown at the lakeridgesoftware site

u need wisbar desktop...use google and search for their forums u can find the skins there as well as how to install..i've tried that particular one before

MysticGenius... this theme is different from mine, softkeys, toolbar, selectors, scrollbar, nothing from my theme has been used here. Also the link was correct, only the page wasn't .
Anyway, good work, I really like the softkey buttons!

Thanks man. You are indeed correct, every graphic is my own work and different in many respects.
To the poster enquiring about Sense... this is a Windows Mobile theme rather than a HTC one.

I don't own a QVGA device to play with, but if anybody wants to have a crack at porting them perhaps they will be kind enough to post it here.

I've polished up the Themes a bit and updated the installer to an all-in-one cab.
Let me know if you have any problems, i'll do what i can to help.

If you could ever manage to get it on a WM 6.1 Xperia phone (wvga), you would be my official hero (if you arn't already : P ). Unfortunately, I've been stuck staring at this for far too long... I think I'm going to be sick.

Bit on the Grey side?
I wouldn't swear to it but my Dialers might work on 6.1 phones, even if the themes do not. After all they are only replacing the default WM dialer images and they haven't changed for ages. Of course you wouldn't have options for video calling etc that a proper phone canvas has.

There are 21 of them. Easiest way to see what they are would be to download one of my dialer cabs and extract the files with wince cab manager.
Edit: I remembered all the names enough to be able to copy the files off my phone for you. Gave me something to do while stuck here at work

Is there an Ironman theme for windows 7?

I'm not talking about a red/yellow theme or an Iron Man background, but a theme that looks like Tony Stark's computer. I was blown away by his computer set up and i really really want it. Are there any windows 7 themes out there like this?

No Windows 7. The PC version.

I get what you mean Niice Idea, I think it would be quite hard to replicate for Windows7 though

lol keep dreaming. You're asking if there is a theme to turn windows into a 100% fake UI from a movie?

If you can't find one, you could always try and make one with ActiveDesktop - you can use set one up as a webpage, which can be stored on your pc. You could make this then look like the IronMan pc that way?
But that depends on your skillset for making webpages and cutting up images etc?

No not a UI but a theme for windows 7. Like sense on windows mobile.

yea just a word that... in case you cant find a theme for that, (gonna be hard one i guess), theres always the option to make your own
I would recommend some 3rd programms but its all up to you...
anyway, good luck and have fun in finding it.

Can you post a link/pic of what the IronMan pc looks like btw for those of us that have not seen the films/don't know what your referencing. if it looks like I may like ti I might give it ago on my lunch times.

basically what an iron pc looks like, is a blue wireframe futuristic art of almost everything.
so if you would kindly wanna do it, you can basically put max transparency and frame on everything

Except for SenseUI is poop! Haha! I say changing things up for the preview bubble, and the fact that you can put your apps in categories.

Can you check if the stock google Launcher2.apk is included in this firmware? i hate the customized one of LG & all the other launcher like ADW and LauncherPro that don't work well with live wallpapers anyway i hope someone will port the Honeycomb UI or the complete firmware, that interface should work great on a 4'' display

I normally use mediafire but it is limited to 200meg files
I've checked a few others but I'll upload to more mirrors later on today once I get back from work.

I just got back from work so I didn't had much chance to play with the dump yet.
I've got 2 live wallpapers working on my N1 :
Bubbles movement
Christmas SnowCity (also need lib file to be pushed)
There is also quite a few other apps that works out of the box but mainly in Korean language tho. Nothing really interesting yet mostly bloatware...
And yes I did check the clock/weather widget, FC but that was to be expected it may require the framework to work I haven't looked at the issue yet tho...
The boot animation is also nice IMO - I like the dancing android mascot lol
If there is an interest for those live wallpapers I could post them in the apps section - let me know

As Bypass mentioned, I am the lucky owner. If there is anything else I can do to help development, please let me know. I am more than happy to help in anyway I can. That being said, as Bypass can attest to, I am a COMPLETE NOOB in this area, so I will need detailed instructions. Hopefully, with his guidance, I can get the the files that will be necessary for real development to begin from my phone to you guys! Thanks everyone who is participating in this!

is there a netflix app on here, similar to the netflix app being pre-loaded on the lg revolution? would be nice to get an apk...

On my phone, there are 14 live wallpapers available:
bubbles movement, christmas snowcity, fire work, galaxy, grass, magic smoke, Many, Nexus, Polar Clock, spectrum, vu meter, water, water drop, waveform. NOt sure how many of those have been available before....

Most seem to be the stock android ones, apart from the first 2.
What was getting root to do this like? Hard or not? Seriously considering this phone, but would mean changing operator in a while!

considering it was my first android phone, I would say getting root was not too difficult. Installed the android sdk and LG phone USB drivers. Used super one click to root the phone. Apparently I did something wrong during the process but after messing around w/ some help from Bypass, I got a full root. I imagine with a little refinement, rooting will be quite easy.
