CM7 Sim problems(Cant check ballance etc..)

Hey Devs, mini users and experenced peoples etc...
Yesterday, I Flashed my galaxy mini to tj_styles un-official port to CM7
But i have noticed a couple of problems withing the social part.
I tried to check my phones load[Credit] Since i txt alot i needed to check how much txt's i had, But here comes the problem...
I entered my sim toolkit, when to my vodafone, selected account balance but when i was running the 2.3.5 a message appeared up saying "A txt message will be sent to you" well that appears up on all phones haha. but now when i do it nothing appears up no txt comes and yeah i cant check anything
It would be great help if anyone will help me

Hi. Sure there is a way to remove cm7 from your phone. You first have to clear what you will do!
I mean stay on a custom Rom or go back to stock Rom.
For custom Rom look at the android development thread. There at the top you will find a thread with all custom roms here.
For stock rom you can go for ginger 2.3.4, 2.3.5 or 2.3.6. These are the official Samsung roms.
There are many sites on the net showing and describing how to do that. Try google and search for something like update gt s5570 to android 2.3.5. You also can use threads here at the xda forum.

you can flash another custom rom using CWM or flash to a stock f/w using odin if you want to remove your CM7..

Hey guys, sorry for asking again this thing, but I've searched into the topic i'm speaking of and I didn't found anything useful.

I must tell you guys it's awesome and looks incredible BUT i have a very big problem. He doesn't recognize my network. I'm from Romania, Orange network, if it does have any relevance; I don't know if there is a problem with our networks or not, but i so want this mode and i'm looking foward for a solution.

Can't help with this ROM as I have not used it but...
Have you checked your IMEI number? These sometimes get trashed when you flash & can result in not being able to access the network.

First look and see if your IMEI says unknown.. if it doesn't just flash a different radio

If imei starts something like 0.. its probably trashed.

I've solved the problem guys, thank you very much for your interest.
If anyone has the same problem you can uninstall CFT 1.4 Fugumod kernel and install the same CFT 1.4 but with stock kernel.

[Q] Arabic Language Problem

Dear All,
I bought an LG Optimus Black p970 some months ago.
It had Froyo 2.2 with FULL Arabic support (display and keyboard).
I decided to upgrade to gingerbread 2.3.4, and everything went well, in fact the Arabic support did not change at all, it couldn't be any better.
The updated version was 2.3.4 V20A.
For some reason, I decided to root my device, thus I installed a patched version (V20N), and the Arabic support was lost.
I have tried many other versions (V20O, V20B, and V20A again). But neither of them had the same Arabic support that I had before.
First of all, non of the versions had an Arabic keyboard, and on V20O, letters were not even connected together.
Now I settled at V20B, because at least the letters are connected.
My problem is that even though the letters are connected, the whole text is aligned to the left which should be aligned to right.
This causes strange disconnection between letters at strange points, and strange sentence arrangements whenever numbers are inserted within the text.
Please check the attached images for clarification.
I have searched the internet for a solution, but I couldn't find anything..
The last patch I applied was for Zeus ROM, and it gave me a bootloop..
Does anyone have a solution for this?

I have read about the same problem which you have. Zeus even doesn´t suport arabic letters, but in his thread maybe is the solution:

An other solution can be installing an unrooted ROM from an arabic-languaged country via KDZ and a ROM from this link: http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=1

I think I will go for the unrooted Arabic .kdz, since I can't find any better solution.
My problem was also that I couldn't find the arabic .kdz anywhere!
And since the rooting seems to be so hard for this phone, I have to give up.

Have you try to install other fonds via "Font Installer *Root*" from the market and install the unicode fonts from this page http://ihint.net ?
To go back to stock is ever final solution.

How to fix Arabic Language problems ,,, please help
recently i have installed ZEUS rom v20o, and its kinda wonderful rom from all sides, it just not supported Arabic Language, So is there anyone can help on that please ?

I use zeus. I dont know if in stock you can but. You can't translate your phone into arrabic but it support arabic. Also you can insert an arabic patch a .zip or .rar

[Q] Stocklite ROM and XT9 predictive

Hey guys,
I understand that this is probably the wrong place to post but due to my new account and low post count, I couldn't post this in the relevant section. I do however have much experience of messing with android, just have never given any input here.
I have just flashed my phone to the latest Stocklite ROM and all is looking good, however I am having a problem in that the stock XT9 predictive feature is seemingly not working. I have looked around the forums and haven't seen this reported before.
Anyone got any ideas or seen this issue before?

I too was wondering why XT9 predictive text was not working after flashing Stocklite V8 . Tried everything on my ACE , so glad I came across this Stocklite keyboard zip . Downloaded and flashed it.
Can't live without XT9 . Thanks MATE ,, yore a champion ! :good:

Hi guys, I've installed several times a lot of rooms and because I'm not very good at I think I accesed wrong things. Now I have 22032013 team asylum and is working great, unless I am facing a problem: it shows always that my phone is charging without being connected . Can you advise, pls. The power jak is ok. In my country now is 10/4/13 and I believe asylum rom have been updated...without going to asylum thread..so, why dont you flash newer build of asylum rom?..

simple solution is go to sammobile.com----hit firmware---search gt-n7000---- download stock rom for your region and flash it thru pc odin---then you can come back to any other custom rom.

Maybe u need to replace battery... check it out
