did you restore it via titanium?
You can mount your sd card to your pc, then open the folder .android_secure. see if there's a left-over file from angrybirds. i think it's com.rovio...etc. just delete it. then install it from the market, then restore your data only from titanium. worked for me when this happened.
I had that problem when I rooted. I just reinstalled the app from the market and then used TiBu to restore my data (scores) to the app.
Thnx for the advice... but I just restored to a previous backup/new ROM

Nandroid doesn't restore apps. Market does. Or Titanium Backup, or Astro File Manager. If you're on a Froyo rom, market should immediately begin restoring apps as soon as you log into your gmail account. Always make sure you answer yes to all the prompts when logging into your gmail account, as that is what syncs market, contacts, etc.
So, I flashed a bad kernel yesterday and today had to revert back to a nandroid backup I made before flashing.
But, I had installed some apps, etc. last night so I wanted to restore all of my apps and data that backed up at 3am last night.
So, after i restored the nandroid backup, I did a "restore all apps and data" from Titanium Backup.
However, during my lunch break, I went to play Angry Birds Rio and it was as if I had never played it before. None of my scores were there anymore.
Every night at 3am, I have Titanium Backup do the following batch operations:
Backup all new apps & newer versions.
Backup all system data.
What gives? Am I doing something wrong?
Losing game data isnt a big deal, but I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing in the future.
Thanks!
Hopeful bump.
Have you tried uninstalling AB and doing another restore of just AB?
Do any of your other apps no longer have your data, or just AB?

Well, its weird...
Angry Birds Rio is the one where my data was lost.
I opened up the original Angry Birds earlier and my data still remained!
Do you think it could be something with the specific app that doesnt allow the data to be saved?
i posted a similar question in another thread. i tried moving the data from my og droid over from titanium and the only apps that did werent were angry birds and angry birds season
Are u using the free version or the free version and the pro key. Iv been using titanium since d1 and I always had that problem. Sometimes the data wouldn't load. Forget my exact method now but until I purchased the pro key, because I was tired of approving the apps manually, it would do that.
With the pro iv not had that problem. I always install system data then apps and data. Remembering to restart just after titanium is installed first elswise it doesn't see that u have done it
HTC thunder bolt
Remember that backing up all new apps and newer versions doesn't mean those that you change settings on. That backs up apps you have added since the last time you backed up or apps that have been updated through the market to a newer version.

Interesting...so if Angry Birds gets backed up with 1 level beaten and the next day I beat 3 more levels, will Titanium backup the data that says I beat the other 3 levels?
Not unless u back it up again.

OK so I'm trying to figure out what the best options are for backing my phone up every night.
Which of these should i do:
Redo backups for newer app versions
Backup all new apps & newer versions
Backup all user apps
Backup all system data
Backup all user apps & system data
Forced redo of your backups
Currently, I'm doing Backup all new apps & newer versions. Also doing Backup all system data. Is that wrong?
I should mention that angry birds resides on my SD card, does that make a difference in the backup or restore process?
I installed FPSE, and then uninstalled it after having problems, but now I cannot install either the version I downloaded, or the version from the store. Both tell me I have insufficient storage space available, even though I have well over a gig free.
Also I am able to install other things.
Any ideas?
I am using Gingerbread 2.3.6, rooted..
Just redid the procedure with Odin to root, just in case that might clear something, but no...

Use some Root Browser to check your system folder to see if you have available storage space. Sometime the old files are not deleted and they fill up the storage space. If this is the case you need to format the system folder before you can install anything.
I had the same problem too, after I uninstalled N.O.V.A. 3 and can't install it back. But other apps has no problem of installing.
SD maid from Playstore might help here^_^.
Contrary to the name, it clears cache and left over data and logs from the phone internal and external memory.

If you have another Android device, you can force the app back on your phone.
1) Install app on other device
2) Make Titanium Backup of app on other device and send it to your phone
3) Open Titanium Backup on phone and go into preferences; change restore location to external storage
4) Restore app backup from other device
5) After restoring app, go into Settings -> Applications and move the app from SD to phone
6) Now app is installed on phone just as if you installed it normally and you can change your Titanium Backup restore location back to default

Try to clear cache and data from the store.
Easy, uninstall the app first, then go /data, search the app name, like "titanium" or the package name, sth like com.xxxxxx.xxx, should have that name.odex or any other, delete it, but make sure its correct name of coz, after u deleted the file in /data, u can install it again
But yea, like the above user say, it usually appear in crack app, if so, do the purchase mate

You must have some leftover file for previous installation, serch and delete of that will allow to install again.
I had this problem the other day trying to install apps with titanium backup and the play store, both were getting this error. I fixed it the same way by going into the data/app folder and deleteing the .odex files in there. I had two in my folder, one was 'com.kermidas.TitaniumBackup-1.odex' and i cant remember what the other one was. I think when an app is uninstalled or modified, it sometimes leaves a .odex residue file which causes the error.
Here is a simple SOLUTION :-
Install lucky patcher now press the menu key
Choose troubleshooting now click on removes fixes and backup now u can install the application

Data sync from the play store. Must be rooted and have both devices on the same Wi-Fi network. You can choose to move data or app and data. Obviously, the bigger it is the longer it'll take.
Edit: guess you can sync to the cloud now. That's cool. I might use it more.

Thanks for the reply. But it requires root and that's something I still dont have on mi X
You can use helium to do that, even w/out root. Just need to hook the phone up to the computer with the helium desktop app running and you should be able to pull the data then from your old phone and put it on the new phone with the app.
+1 for helium, it works great!

BusyBox
I was going to use the DataSync app to copy a few app data files for games,
but I couldn't get DataSync to start on my Moto X because BusyBox wasn't
installed. I've tried two or three of the BusyBox installers on the Play
Store but all have failed to install. My old phone is a Droid X-2 and is
rooted with BusyBox and ready to use the DataSync app. Has anyone got
BusyBox to install on the Moto X? Should I change the install folder? I
don't have much experience with BusyBox other than installing it on my X-2
for some app. I may just try the Helium desktop app for the app data copy
but I would like to know about BusyBox in case it's needed later. DataSync says it does work with the Motorola phones but I'll try it anyway. Thanks.

Busy box installed fine for me... Have you tried normal install vs smart install? Not sure how much of a difference it'll make but if you haven't, at least it'll be something new to try.. Works both ways for me and I've never had to change the location.
I always had issues getting data back on certain apps with helium. Must just be me, I hear great things about it, anyway, data sync is just something I'm more familiar with. Easier too.. At least for me. But yes, busy box has worked for me on stock rooted, stock rooted SS, and TMo port to VZW.

I read somewhere to boot to recovery so the r/w permissions were off. Once I did that and BusyBox installed with no problem. Also, DataSync worked awesome and was super easy. I uploaded the two apps to the other detected device no problem.
Can anyone confirm that any of these methods work on iron man 3? I've tried titanium backup and my backup pro in the past and the game days never synced. Always had to completely restart the game...

The helium method works for sure. I've used it on many apps and games to transfer settings / progress. Used it on 4 different devices so far with out problem.

I think you might need to enable a setting when you're using the backup to install. There should be an option to either just install the app, or to install the app and all previous data. I think. Sorry if it wasn't too helpful; I haven't used Titanium for a year now.

Hi guys I'm another user in search of transfer game progress from Iron Man 3.
I tried many applications like Helium, Titanium Backup (with a nandroid backup), My backup Root and nothing works for me.
Always Iron Man 3 reset to begining (tutorial)
I´m not tried DataSync, but i'm not sure is working or not
Anyone please confirm any method for sure ??
Many thanks in advance for
Sorry for my bad English, I'm from Chile XD
I also tried to change my Device ID (with the same as the old S3) and nothing happens again!!
And I tried to do a Nandroid Backup, choose the game Iron Man 3 and restored it with Titanium Backup Pro (I purchased it) and nothing again!!
I usually go into /data/data and pull its directory. That is where saved games and settings are typically stored.

Thanks smokedkill, I was able to transfer using files from /sdcard/Android/obb/ and /data/data. This was a test from a new setup with a small score. I will update once I have some more achievements in the game.
I've been using Titanium Backup for the past few years, but I don't won't to root my M8. Is there a similar app you guys recommend in the Google Play Store that will backup my apps + data w/out me having to root my device?

Isn't there a non-rooted version of titanium Backup that would backup all your downloaded apps? If not there are plenty of apps out there. My backup for one
I think Helium may work but you need a computer if the phone isn't rooted.

I used to use MyBackup a lot, though I used the root version. It works, but it's not as easy at the HTC Backup.
I've had good luck with HTC Backup linked to Dropbox and/or Drive. However, it doesn't always restore ALL of my apps. It consistently leaves off about 5 or so with each restore. I have no idea why. It's not biggie as I can just download them manually. I like that it restores my homescreens including widgets and it restores all my saved wifi locations.
