[Q] What is the best program ro make bootanimations? - Android Themes

<deleted>

JPG's work too.

OK, but do you know a good program to make and animate them?

Anyone knows a good program?

Any photo editing program like photo shop will be able to save png or jpg. Its just a matter of being a good enough designer. Boot animations are just a series of jpg. You can also try an animation editing software like adobe flash and export as a sequence.

@connoisseur
TY, I think using flash is a good idea!

Look at a free photo editor called GIMP you should be able to download it from Gimp.org
It has video capabilities and I believe you can export individual frames as any image type.

I really like Cinema 4D, but Flash and After Effects work great too. Photoshop is excellent as well.

[Bootanimation] Texas Tech University

This is my first boot animation I made. I used some wallpaper and a 3D can to make this animation using mostly photoshop. The text was added onto the wallpaper and then wraped around the can. Then I made the can spin and exported the animation into JPG files. I know everybody has their own favorite American college football team so here is mine.
Do not try to flash this. Use root explorer to place this zip file in your boot animaion folder.
I am not responsible if you break your phone.
Nice one. Man.
Thanks. I'm thinking about doing one with a tumblimg squar that has wallpaper on all all six sides. Like a rolling di.

Now that would be sweet.
Very nice. How did you make the image rotate in photoshop? And save every image of it rotating?

How to wrap can:

How to rotate can:

How to export animation:
File>Export>render video>image sequence, rate 30fps. Save in JPG or PNG.
Make sure all images are in RGB from begining to end. If they are not just open and save in RGB. Photoshop tends to want to save everything in sRGB.

I use my own photos (mostly outdoor/scenic) and set the wallpaper with Quick Pic (free in google play). No blurry images at all.
Wallpaper set and save is my app of choice.

Find wallpapers at www.wallbase.cc. Best site by far IMO.
background box HD is what I use..
I use Zedge, as it has some nice widescreen ones that look really good on my tablet, both in Android and WebOS.
Either that or I spend an hour or two looking through some of the threads on the dreaded 4Chan's /wg (Wallpaper General). You can find some amazing things there, if you take a few mins.

Requesting a boot ani

Hello XDA community. I'be been recently searching for a 'Journey' boot animation with the Soundtrack from the game in the background. If someone who might be willing to male one or knows where I can find one that would be most helpful. I'm also looking for a theme with icons based from the game in it as well

JaeKar99 as well as others have posted up "how-tos" on making your own boot animations. I always make my own, as I usually want something plain and simple. You can make your own icons as well, easy to replace the current icon in the apk, with your "custom" icons before you flash the rom.
I'm not good with art programs. I'm lucky I can draw a square in paint lol

There is a tutorial on here somewhere that shows you how to make a boot animation from a YouTube video. Then just find an mp3 that has the music you want and exchange it for the boot audio that is currently deactivated in aokp by default.

Editing a gif file in notepad

I have a gif type file which contains actly a image of text ,and how can I edit tat text in a notepad plz help me if anyone know abt it I am ready to donate also if I am helped
Sent from my Wildfire S A510e using xda app-developers app
.gif files are images, so even if the image is of text, the text can't be edited as plain text in the same way a .txt file could. You'll need an image editor capable of opening .gif files, Microsoft Paint actually does a pretty good job if it's a non-animated .gif, simply open the file, remove the existing text with the eraser tool and use the text tool to add your new text. If it's an animated .gif it'll be slightly tougher, but you should be able to find some software online for editing animated .gif files. I used to use Jasc Animation Shop years ago, but I don't think that exists anymore.
As said above, you cannot use notepad to edit that text. You need an actual image editor and in the case of animated gif's it needs to be an editor capable of editing animations which not all do (and you get some weird results in some softwares trying to edit them, MS paint just loads the first frame, some software my school used to have would load all images in a row and then crash).
GIMP is one of the few softwares off the top of my head which can edit animated gifs.
Paint will probably do for non animated gifs.
No man I jus need to copy that text in gif file and paste it somewhere like notepad tats it man plz help me if any software exists Like tat if possible with t link

It doesn't work that way. You might be able to find some sort of OCR tool that will read the text, but you can't just open a gif in notepad and copy text out.
No need of opening n all tat but I jus need tat text in gif file and copy tat tats it man plz help

I suggest you actually read what has been said.
YOU CANNOT DO THAT. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE
It can be dude

Open up notepad and manually type the text that you see on the .gif. There is no program that I am aware of that will do this for you

The answers you've gotten are about the best you can expect to get. It's all downhill from there.

Looking for N4 vector drawing!

Hi y'all!
I have access to a laser cutter and want to cut a veneer wood back for my nexus 4.
To do this I need a vector drawing/model of the back of the n4.
Could anyone point me in the right direction or share the model?
Thanks!
Z
Made this myself a while ago, scanned and outlined, then resized to actual size. I'll add it as an attachment too.
