Ok I got kaosfroyo v35-1 and would like to theme my dialer if anyone could help me out or point me in the right direction it will be greatly appreciated.

I was having trouble installing any theme on a 6.1 rom. Bootloop city.
You could try dialer one in the market, there's a few options to change the colors and it has t9

You need to theme the contacts.apk, that's where the dialers png's live. I have a flashable theme (blue) that worked on kaosfroyo v34. Haven't tested on the current versions, thought I'd try a different rom or two. Anyway I can send it to you so you can see what's involved if you want.

Aha! That was confusing the crap out of me.....I applied a MM theme and it FC'd as soon as it would hit the phone.apk, but when I'd reboot the phone would be themed.....contacts.apk, never would have thought about that one.

That is exactly why I made it flashable vs MM, due to them darn annoying FC's when MM was flashing the phone and contacts apk...

Here is the flash-able theme I created. BlkandBlueStorm
I got most of the blue from nonsensikal and other pieces here and there, don't recall right now where. (if you are the owner/creator of any piece let me know so I can give credit where credit is due.)
Just flash like a normal ROM or open it up and see how it was built. If you take it apart and add your own tweaks, you'll need to resign the package so that you can flash it just like any ROM.

sorry, mate, I was reading that some folks were having issues with flashing themes to kaosfroyo 35-1 and thats when I decided it was time to try out another froyo rom.
Funny thing is that the theme works great on kaos 34 and nonsensikal v 7.5, however when flashing to nonsensikal 8.2 my wifi status symbol disappears. I have looked and all the files match between my theme and the roms files. Puzzling and will be working on it. If I get it working correctly, I'll let you know.

just use the dj05 version and the DL09 theme fix..

download the file in that thread, flash it in CWM after you flash a dj05 theme.. just boot into cwm flash your theme then before you boot it back up flash the theme fix and you should be good to go

It worked, but I didn;t get the unlock screen, its still the puzzle.
Ive read thru and thats the only unlock with dl09 at the moment. When I find something ill link it on a new thread

Actually Adrynalyne hooked us up with an AOSP unlock, he modded a version for me that keeps that menu key as an availabe unlocking method or he has another verision that disables that feature.

post 57 is the AOSP that adrynalyne remodded.. a few pages before that post there is another verison of it that does not allow you to use the menu key to unlock.
The other option is to go to settings then sound and display slide down to unlock pattern and you can change it to the glass unlock

So I'v search for the last 2 hours and haven't been able to find a yellow theme. I've only found a dead link to the liberty rom theme. Can someone help me out?
You could try sending zachsx a pm and see if the link could get updated or try posting in his thread. Maybe someone has the zip that can link a mirror.

I was the one who ported the theme it was my boy zachsx idea , I just asked him to make a thread because I did not have time to, PLEASE don't stress him out over theme issues If you have an issue PM me Skillz360 I've fixed all the issues regarding the livewall paper and cleaned up the theme some more heres the final build Thanks http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6803042/YellowBread.zip

it will work but you have to flash this theme, then flash the DL09 fix right after. if you dont', your phone will freeze at the "SAMSUNG" logo at startup and you'll have to pull the battery.

Ok here is one of my all time favorite themes, NexTheme!
This is for CM7 posted at 6/1/11 - 10:40PM in the CM7 thread.
Currently it's only the Framework, SystemUI and Settings. (which themes most of the phone)
I will be going through and theming the apps later this week (crazy busy at work this week but I'm trying to have the apps done by the weekend). If anyone here has seen my work on the OG Droid you will know I'm very detailed and have added quite a bit that the original theme did not have so stayed tuned.
If you find anything missing please let me know so I can update it, (not the apps of course at this point). Oh yeah I threw some old school animations in it as well.
As always please make a backup just in case.
This is a .zip file and installs like any other .zip, just don't wipe when flashing.
Let me know what you think so far, good, bad or indifferent.

The way I "theme" is basically just the entire rom and the theme chooser to make it more complete. Seems like the theme chooser won't theme everything.

Just wanted to clarify, since you flash the uot kitchen zips like any other zip yet it adds the theme to the theme chooser...

Alright here it is. Pull whatever you want from it. Everything is here apps framework exct. You could take this drop it on your phone and flash it if you want.
The standard drop on SD card flash via Rom Manager.
But i would love for someone to just take the framework for system and apps and put it on a Tmobile theme engine.

Done & everything working!!!
Finally got 1% workin, after sum digging around i found out i left a couple things out of framework_res.apk
If it don't show the status bar after flashing just clear cache 3x dalvic 3x & reflash rom, them reflash this & this will fix it
This is a stock ei22 theme base for everyone to build themes off of. It has pulldown animation(thanx gitusum) & locks mod(thanx maddoggin & sbrissen), no ciq, power menu, & hotspot hack. full thanx & credit coming when done

Doing this for all the lazy themers & noobs so we all can have something set up to just put images in & be done
