[Q] Any wifi usage monitoring apps similar to 3G watchdog? - Nexus One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm looking for any app that can monitor wifi usage on my nexus. I like how detailed 3G watchdog is, but thats only for 3G. I need a similar app for Wifi. I tried Stats Free, but that only tracks total wifi usage from the reset point. The notification bar usage from Quick System Info wasnt that helpful.
My aim is to track my wifi usage down to each day, week, and month. Is there any other app to do that? Also, would be nice if it did that for minutes and SMS.

I think TrafficMonitor from the MIUI Rom is what you looking for... And I think it is the best application!

Anyway a link to the apk could be posted?

Sorry, I tried before in market but no succeed. Give a try on MIUI forum...

I use "TrafficStats" from Android Market, both free and paid versions are available.
It can give every single application's detailed network traffic statistics, very handy.

Data Counter Widget from the market.
It's my favourite counter as it's a very simple, clean looking, yet effective widget that monitors both the 3G and the Wifi usage in the same spot. It's very customizable (except that the free version doesn't have all the text colors).

Unlike many on this forum I do not wish to be, but please forgive me if I sound rude. In the time it took to write the post, screen capture, draw the diagram etc you could have found a couple of different battery indicators by simply searching. The forum gets mighty crowded with all of these questions that can be very easily avoided.
Anyways, to answer your question, I use battery indicator found in QuickMenu, which looks a lot like LordSmiffs battery indicator, and SPB PocketPlus...they are all bars above the time. Furthermore, there are a plethora of today plugins that you can configure to show only the battery and then just move it up/down in your taskbar.
Heres a good starting point for cabs to install and various purposes. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=319468 (LordSmiff's is in there somewhere in the first post) also check out battery status today plugin there (screenshots http://www.chi-tai.info/cs_BatteryStatus_XDA_Neo_WM5_iM_cs.htm#Themes)

Could possibly be a 3rd party wifi manager that removed that.
Its always happened i guess.
But since i cant manage my wifi connections it connects to data, and i dont have a data plan so that sucks...

[Q] Dissolving phone image for app icon

Has anyone got a suitable image (64x64, 60x60, 45x45, 36x36 .png file) of a dissolving phone or anything else that would make a good application icon for a Windows Mobile app? I'm still thinking of a name for this app ('I can hear you now', 'Fringe Service', 'From the Edge', for example) and its basically a phone status/alert system for monitoring your connection to your cell provider (I use it when I'm out in the mountains as it lets me know when my phone has a connection etc).
Thanks
Blake
I'm on a bit of a timeline here as Microsoft is not accepting anymore Windows Mobile app on their app store after July 14th
I should include a screen shot so people can get a further idea as to what the app is. The top of the app is connection information / type icons and the bottom is a strength meter / search animation. It does log GPS positions of the various events and vibrate/sound/notifications are configurable.

Hi! Everyone. I was using facebook and twitter on my phone and found that, both apps led to fill my storage and made a huge contribution towards lag on my phone which have some decent hardware. So, i wanted to make a change and try to improve my coding skills, this led to creation of SLIDECHAT.

[GUIDE/Code] Work/home traffic monitor

Hi guys,
Recently I've created some (my first actually) tasks and profiles in Tasker and I thought it would be nice to share this with you. After all sharing is caring
The goal of this app is to notify me of the current delay on my route between home and work (in the morning from home to work and in the afternoon from work to home). One of the solutions to do this was to make the navigation start automatically but the downside of this is that I am then forced to always grab my phone, since I am lazy I like to keep it in my pocket and just make it play a sound and/or vibrate at a specific pattern.
First a few screendumps to give you an impression of what it looks like:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The XML files which can be imported in Tasker as well as a short description can be found at GitHub (and since I can't link to outside of XDA before I reached 10 posts you have to concatenate the URL for now, will fix in the future) at github com/nick31415/Tasker_TrafficMonitor
Since this is my first post here as well, please feedback (both on my post and my project)!
Kind regards,
Nick
Anyone else having the issue of the pictures not being displayed? Even though I've uploaded them to XDA-developers.com it appears that they are referred to as img.xda-cdn.com which is not accessable.
