yes it is your fancy widget, mine does it and i use beautiful widget, delete it off the home screen, then re apply the widget but before you do go through the settings of the widget and it is under there some where... on mine its under advanced then under Unlock Animations. Uncheck that and your good to go.

g2 lock screen tmobile clock and logo removal

Can anyone tell me how to remove the clock and tmobile logo off the lock screen please ?
I would like to know this as well. Or, if possible, how to remove the lockscreen entirely, such that waking the phone would go straight to the homescreen.

You will need to do one of the following:
1. Root you phone and install a custom ROM without any branding
2. Use a replacement lockscreen from the market such as Lockbot or WidgetLocker

There is an app in the market called NoLock which will do that for you
To remove or edit the layout of the lock screen you will need to edit the .xml file: keyguard_screen_tab_unlock.xml located in framework-res.apk\res\layout\
See here for an example of what can be done:

try beautiful widgets, there are loads of skins for that, I am sure one uses a similar font. for the clock.
edit: the 'eclair' and 'naked droid' theme use that font for the home screen clock widget.
edit2: screenshot attached

Use live wallpaper as background in lock pattern

Good night.
I have been researching this subject for a while and I find no solution.
I would like the pattern lock screen in my S2 to show my live wallpaper (or a different lwp) instead of a regular image.
The new S3 pulls this out easily. How can I have this in the S2? I. tried several launchers but they do not change this option.
Best regards
Before your S3 I dont see any similar option in a stock lockscreen. Maybe a third-party lockscreen app can do this trick. Such as the GO locker may introduce some animated components, but I'm not sure if lwp work.
Anyway, most people want to start using their devices immediately, so I dont see a point why to stare at the lock screen for minutes.

I have an S2.I wish to use a live wallpaper as a background in pattern lock. go locker does NOT solve this.
s2 does not allow me but it it possible in s3.so its a software issue.
how can I solve this limitation?
is there a tweak?

Then try ripple lock or widget locker. I googled, no guarantee.

You should go to settings___ display ___ wallpaper
and choose lock and home wallpaper then you'll see
live wallpapers

Try going to settings > lock screen > background, and check default wallpaper. That's the way I have it, and my wallpaper is the background.
Good luck.
that doesnt take off the clock on the lockscreen
1 out of 2 isn't bad.......
I couldn't find how to take the clock off the lock screen.............
I dont think there is a way to remove the clock. You could always use a third party lockscreen like widget locker.
try widget locker...

dashclock?

I'm trying to get more widgets on my lock screen with dashclock and I can't get it to let me add them. Any ideas?

Can you be more specific?
You're trying to get more widgets on your lock screen with dashclock. What I would assume is you have installed dashclock and are not able to get it or any of its extensions onto the lock screen.
From what I can tell so far it's not possible to change the lock screen widgets at all other than changing their settings.
