Ok here is my screw up of the year. I was repairing my meid from a backup txt file using cdma ws. (my backup) and in the process I chose the wrong txt file. It wrote to the phone just fine.
Now I proceeded to restart my phone, and the hell begins. I am stuck at the htc screen with a boot loop. Phone just restarts over and over again. The only thing I can access is Hboot.
So I tried to restore the cyanogenmod recovery, using fastboot (it failed) So I tried the official sprint RUU for 1.2 and I get a recovery error. I downloaded the latest Sprint RUU from HTC, all went well as far as the recovery, but upon reboot same issue reboots at HTC screen.
Any suggestions on how I can get the phone to show up in CDMA WS to restore the correct nvram .txt file? I am at a loss, or at least get it to boot up successfully.

Ok so I rooted my hero, but i accidentally tried to load a custom rom with out flashing a recovery image. So when i tried to do that, i forgot to uncheck the debugging setting. so basically its stuck on the htc screen. i can boot into recovery mode if i hold down the volume down button, but if i hit reboot, it goes back to the htc screen.
when i went into recovery mode, i read one of the lines and it says that there is no recovery image. i tried to run the stock RUU, but my computer will not recognize the device so the RUU wont run. does anyone have any ideas?
any help is appreciated. thanks
have you install HTC sync? if not go to sprint.com/download and then smartphone then pick your phone you should see HTC sync

yeah, i got that. i was able to flash the RUU, but it didnt solve my problem. still gets stuck at the htc screen.
good thing is that i can still get to the recovery screen.
i even tried flashing the sprint 2.1 ruu, but the problem remains. now the htc screen is white with green letters.
EDIT:
a couple of things i noticed. when the recovery mode first starts running, it says something like checking sd card...then its says no image.
also, up at the top left of the screen, third line. it says "touch panel-fail" struck me as odd.
Try this. Not sure if it will work since you flashed the 2.1 RUU, but it's worth a try.
so i did all the command promt and unevoked patching at got to the recovery screen on my hero. i then flash/update zip and did the boot-patch.zip and it said updated sucessful then i backup in nandroid and then that was also successful. then i went to reboot and it just stays on the htc boot screen. what did i do wrong so should do. right now i just restored it back using ruu.
????????????????
Did you try pulling the battery during the boot loop and putting it back in?
yes still just stays on the htc boot screen.
Hello everyone! I was attempting to root my HTC One on Sprint, and I successfully completed unlocking the bootloader following the instructions found on htcdev.com. The next step (correct me if im wrong) is to flash a recovery.
I attempted (using fastboot flash recovery recovery.img) to flash ClockworkMod, ClockworkMod Touch, TWRP, and even a (supposed) original recovery img. However, each time, it fails to load the recovery. What happens is the phone shows 'Booting Recovery...', then simply goes black, never to turn on.
In order to get the phone usable, I have to hold down the power button for ten seconds and then boot it back to android. Any ideas on what's causing this?

My first question are you sure it says unlocked in hboot?
have you tried the tool they made?

Just an FYI.. You would have had more people helping if you posted in the Q/A.

Yeah, I have tried Hasoon2000's tool, but no change. I wonder, would a factory reset help?
When you try to send ity does it say .. sending? and done or does it give you an error message.
Hey, turns out I had been using Hasoon's Toolkit for the One, not the One on Sprint! It installed TWRP like a charm! Thank you! I had been stuck for weeks on this!
Cool.. Glad you figured it out... have fun flashing!!
The wole day i'm trying to install a rom on my HTC One and i rooted and unlocked my phone. I first used clockworkmod and then tried TWRP and the S- on. I didn't work for me too S-off with moonshine and rumrunner.
I was trying to install this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2356654 and it installed succesfully. But afterwards it got stuck and keeps hanging on the HTC splash screen. I still can get in the recovery mode (TWRP) but after triying to unroot the phone en relocked with security warning, all the files of the phone where gone Litteraly 0MB and that means there is no OS on it.
I tried to install an originall stock rom RUU but keeps hanging at the "Sending data" screen and then gives an error and restore wont help neither. I can't use sideload neither, it pops with an error too.
So i'm stuck and now i have an empty phone. Hope that i can get some help. Is it possible to return to androids stock recovery system so it comes with his own recovery files?
I have an HTC One m7 sprint and recently I encountered something usual in the sense that, my battery run out and I placed it on charge while the phone is off. After awhile I try to boot up the device but it takes forever to boot up. I have installed a cm-13 rom on the device which was very stable. I have twrp 3.1.1 installed on the device. my device is S-OFF and bootloader unlocked. For 3 days now I haven't been able to boot up the device to ROM because its always stuck at the cyanogen logo. Whenever i try to boot to recovery, the twrp logo comes and it takes forever to boot into the recovery menu. To be precise, 10-20 mins to boot to recovery menu. Now what buffles me the most is that, I can't format my data because anytime it starts to formatting process starts I get 2 kinds of red line errors:
E: failed to write /dev/block/mmcblk0p19: I/O error
Error opening: '/cache/recovery/ .version' (Read-only file system)
I haven't been able to Restore my backup because of the error above,
I haven't able to copy files to the internal storage
I haven't been able do anythings significant at the recovery
I can't install new ROM
here are some steps I have taken so far to help fix the problem but to no avail
I have flashed older versions of the custom recovery through fastboot but whenever I boot to the Recovery I still see the twrp 3.1.1 i flashed before the problem happened. Even though my command.exe tells me that the flash was successful but it doesn't overwrite the twrp 3.1.1
I have fastboot erased cache but nothing happened
I have tried to return the device to stock by RUU method but whenever I fastboot oem rebootRUU, the device powers off, reboots to white HTC logo attempts to boot phone instead of going into RUU mode.
I have a hunch that somewhat my internal storage is corrupted and is probably causing these problems but I don't know how to go round it.
Any help will be gratefully appreciated.
