Hi Peepz!
im a fan of good games, that can waste some time to play.
i just wonder where those game can download for free
those quality one's
like SpaceWars etc..
thanks! and sorry for this nab post =D
Retro Defense, the only game I will play on the G1. It's a little laggy, in comparison to running it on an overclocked droid, or N1, but I've gotten used to it.
I also use NESoid, GENSoid, and other emulators. Besides that I haven't found any other games worth while.
I really like Cestos.
Raging thunder
Raging thunder 2(lil laggy)
asphalt
Zenonia(See here)RPG game, played on my Ipod-touch
Emulators(very fun)
Speedx 3D
light racer 3d

Respectfully, there are a lot good/great games (counting the emus). Android has a lot of fun stuff (but mainly the great emulators).
These games and apps are worthy on my G1 and its app small memory. There are about ten other worthy games, but I am out of space
Thunder 2
Jewellust
3 Point Shootout
Air Attack
Basket Ball
Bit Blocks
Armored Strike
Friction Mobile
Jewels
Papijump
Shoot U!
Sky Force
Solitaire
Salvo
Gensoid
Nesoid
Snesoid
Gboids
Android Arcade
PCE16
UAE4Droid
Segoid
GBCoid
Frodo 64
Jarcade
LightRacer3D!!!
Hope I don't repeat any of the great games already mentioned, here's a couple more:
Droid Mini Golf (Best mini golf game available. Swipe with your finger on screen to shoot ball. Direction and swiping speed determin ball direction and speed. There's even global tournaments where you have to play a certain course on a certain day for world rankings)
Build-a-Lot (I'm surprised at how much I like this sim game)
AirHockey (by jjcgames)
Pobs (I know this game from PC as "Hexagon", it's awesome)
Maejong (better than other free Mahjongg solitaire games, worth the $.99)
Towers (xi-art, beautiful Towers solitaire game)
WordUp! (word seeker)
Mancala (I had never heard of this board game, but it's easy to learn and fun to play)
What the Doodle!? (online pictionary, like iSketch, and with much less cheating than in Sketch Online also for Android)
Backgammon Lite (beautiful)
Toss It (throw crumpled paper balls into a basket with a fan blowing at varying speeds)
AndroMaze (for the programmers among us. "Program" the little android to reach the end of the maze in as little moves as possible)
Hey i am looking some very good game for my Touch pro. I dont like thes gameloft etc copier over and over games but something you can play hours. It would be also nice if it was game known from pc. I have played heroes of might&magic, warcraft 2 and i loved them.
Ah, my rom is tael with wm 6.5

@ klooher,
Hi. The two games I am addicted to are Huff n' Puff, which is an Angry Birds-like game, and Ivy the Kiwi. Both have great looking graphics and they are fun to play. They are also challenging. Here is some info on both games:
Huff n' Puff is a game to kill the pigs in their structures, or homes. You play as the Big Bad Wolf and you want to go out and collect your "hams". You go and kill Pigs using your breath to blow the house down. What sets this game apart is the game supports two modes of play: tapping the screen, or using the microphone on your device to "blow" into. What this does is when you are in the level, it activates the Wolf's breath inhale so depending on how soft or hard you blow air into the mic also affects the power Wolf will use to blow down the house. you can toggle between the two. As the levels progress, you could use something like a chili pepper to eat and then use Wolf's breath to set fire to wodden structures. There are also two other food items (ice cream and onion).
The drawback on playing this game on the Touch Pro, or on any VGA screen device, is it was meant for WVGA screens. The game formats itself (but there will be black bars on top and bottom of the screen when the game is in its default landscape mode), but the touch points where to activate the soft buttons are a little off, so you wouldn't be touching some the icon(s) directly, but rather slightly above them. If you can live with that then this is a great choice to play. Suggest to use your stylus when playing.
The second game, Ivy the Kiwi, is a platformer game (side scroll game like Mario). You do not directly control Kiwi (which is a bird). Kiwi moves back and forth on its own. What you do is you use your stylus to create vines for Kiwi to get across from the start to the Goal. The concept itself is fairly simple, but the levels do get harder and more complexed. Each level is timed, and the optional objective is to collect feathers. In each level there are 10 feathers to grab. The game was eventually ported to the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DS. Windows Mobile seemed to have been forgotten, but it is available in the marketplace. I havent beaten this game yet. There are two tutprial videos in the game so you can get aquainted with the gameplay. The color scheme is fairly bland in a way, since there isn't much color but at the same time there is a beauty in the game visually. It looks hand drawn and the versions for Nintendo have much more color, but I still enjoy the game immensely.
If you are into an RPG style action/adventure game, play Zenonia. I havent tried it yet, and I have the .cab file for it but i havent installed it yet so i can't really say. I would suggest going on youtube and check these games out and watch the videos to see if you woudl like them (better yet, do a Google search). If you are into the RTS games, how about checking out Autumn Dynasty Lite? The game is really short, but you can replay it. Both Autumn Dynasty and Huff n' Puff are made by Touch Dimensions. Go on their site and look up those two games. Autumn Dynasty looks like artwork. Trust me, it does!
If you send me a PM, then i can send you links to where I found games and you can check them out for yourself. i found certain full-games (that are on sale through Handango and such) on certain hosting sites and downloaded them from there but I suggest if you are going to do that then to find the .cab file, extract on your PC and run a virus scanner just to be safe. Not sure if a desktop virus scanner would actually pick up a virus extracted out of a .cab file meant for Windows Mobile, but it gives me peace of mind, and I have yet to get a virus. I also have Lookout Mobile Security on my device too for the virus protection (i highly recommend this product).
I hope I was able to help. Please let me know if you found any interesting games.

thanks for your suggestion. i do remember that game! brings back memories. Def worth a look at! I love all types of games and graphics is something nice to look at but should not define how good a game is.

Game
My favorites games are Skyforce and Bejaweled
I did want to add another post to this thread: if anyone has played Rolling With Katamari, comment on if you liked it or not. The cartoon graphics look nice as it seems to fit with the franchise. There is no real 3D graphics but the game is fun to play and it is addicting. Some of the levels are quite challenging.
One criticism is the on screen controls are not that great. I have to sometimes swipe 4 or 5 times to get the character and the rolling ball to go fast, as that is a speed boost in the game. It makes certain levels almost unbeatable with the time limit and what your objective is.
Other than that, I believe the game is worth checking out. It is a bizarre game but fun nonetheless.

Hi, I would have to check out Skyforce, and bejeweled is a very addicting game to play. I like to just pick up my phone and play a few rounds.
anymore suggestions on what other games you like to play?
the most addicting game i have ever play on my device (well if you like scenarios game-type like i do) is Age of Empires. :x
What are some of your must have games for Captivate?
I currently have the angry bird series and beat on my phone
Pocket racing and wild west sheriff
Sent from a rock on fire in the middle of the sea
Hexdefense
Honestly fruit ninja. Sickest game. Just tried it the other day for the first time & I can't stay away from it
Guns n Bros
You guys should check out Cordy - I get a bit of lag at some parts but otherwise runs beautifully on the Captivate. The game itself is very impressive, although there aren't many levels at the moment. Totally free!
Pew pew. And pew pew 2 good stuff.

Spectral Souls - As far as I know the ONLY Strategy JRPG type on the market and IIRC it's a PSP port, but it's very well done and looks and plays amazing.
Game Dev Story - It's very simple but incredibly addicting. I don't know what genre you'd throw this in besides casual, but you take a game company from nothing and turn it to greatness.
Wordsmith - This is my favorite Scrabble clone, I prefer this over Words With Friends and Wordfeud. It just looks better to me and the on the fly score preview is great for those like me who don't care for manual counting.
3 Kingdoms TD - This is an odd game, but amazingly well done and my favorite Tower Defense game at the moment. It gets constantly updated with enough content that you would thing would be charged for, but it's all free (outside the purchase of the game of course). The graphics are great, it has a mildly bizarre storyline and it's very addicting.
Zenonia 2 is a great old school rpg game, Demon Hunter is pretty decent as well.

I concur regarding these two.
Also would have to add:
Radiant HD - Nostalgia at it's finest, harkening back to the days of Space Invaders, with a corny storyline, and relaxing music to go along with it.
Gailardia - Also brings back memories, this time of NES RPG's [namely Dragon Warrior], and has a painful difficulty curve [going from area to area requires several level ups before it's even survivable]. I'd only recommend for the hardcore RPG gamer.
Illusia - Originally an iOS game [had it on my iPod Touch.. don't shoot me for owning one ], and is quite good for a sidescroller RPG. Faintly reminiscent of Maple Story.
Definitely Cordy, Angry Birds, and Words with Friends. I did see that Adult Swim did release Robot Unicorn Attack finally for Android. It is a bit laggy, but still really fun to play.
Mini squadron is alot of fun!
Tap Tap Revenge 4!!
Backbreaker.

I was making some wallpapers from some pics that caught my eye and a lot of them happened to be from classic video games: Mario, Zelda, etc. I just got to thinking that while a lot of today's games are widely-played, they just don't have that lasting value that the games of the past had, the games that appealed to everyone.
I know there are a few like Little Big Planet and what-not that still do something for everyone, but it's titles like Dead Space and Mass Effect are what move units now. In the "What are you playing thread" Skyrim and BF3 are tops. Halo inspired some cool things like Red vs Blue, but are any of us going to look back a in years to come and really feel like any of today's games are anything more than hours of well-designed time killing? Even one of my favorites in Ninja Gaiden Sigma makes me wonder if I'll see it as great down the road. I don't think Ocarina of Time will ever be a let down, or Mario Kart, or the old Metroid games.
I know this is a little disjointed but I just wanted to get it out. What do you guys think?
I see a field of fps & mmorpg. Not any that draw you into them. None like the classics. You're right.
Casual gamers are into graphics, real gamers play Gran turismo 1 into the night

Manic Miner had me occupied for probably a couple of years.
Ooooh... BoulderDash and Head Over Heels....
Nothing quite like trying to reunite two lovestruck puppies with ridiculously large heads whilst avoiding all manner of fiendish traps...

Bugaboo the flea really did it for me too. I lost many nights' sleep over that game.
Also, pretty much anything by Ultimate - Jet Pac, Trans Am, Cookie etc.. They were all classics.
Most games today get played till completed then put back in the box until they're sold a year later. I do revisit portal and the most recent Assassin's Creed that I have at the time. Some modern games still have plenty of staying power, but I don't know if they'll be remembered in 30 years.
Yeah...definitely true OP. It seems as technology gets better, we only get better with eye candy (with some exceptions of course) But now a days kids think a game is good because it looks good.
I mean, i get it. I get caught in the whole graphics as well, but the content needs to be there also.
That or maybe i'm just getting older and thinking back on simpler times just seems like it's more fun.

Precisely, I don't like playing online with a bunch of people, just give me a good game I play at my leisure and have fun.
Excitebike, R.C. Pro Am, Maniac Mansion. So simple yet they felt worth the time.
Contra III, Golden Eye, the good old days.
The best games are always going to be the ones you played when you were around 10.
Twenty years from now there will be a holographic thread about how awesome Cut the Rope was, and BF25 is nothing in comparison.
It's not age, it's content. Maybe the whole thing with the games that feel that way is that they "take you somewhere else." It's fun to play BF3, but when you play Mario 64, or the Final Fantasy series they are their own experiences. Maybe it's just that I feel like I get enough death and mayhem on the news and I feel better when playing games that are just games, nothing too heavy.

I do have to say I think I will always remember the Metal Gear Solid series favorably.
missing the "epicness" in today`s games. baldur´s gate 1 & 2 for example was sooo awesome. with more than 120hrs of epic rpg experience (if u fance the genre of course), proper characters and brilliant dialogue wrapped in beautiful visual art. imho there are but a few games on the market nowadays to rival games from the 90´s, such as bg1&2, where more quality games have been produced.
just my 2 cents

What are some of the best Android games to use the power of the nexus? I mostly play computer games, right now my main game I play on my phone is Texas Hold 'Em.
I am also aware of N64 and Playstation emulators, will probably mess around with some games on those. But right now I feel like I'm missing a void. I have this power house phone and I only play Hearthstone and poker on it.
What can you recommend me? I mostly enjoy multiplayer games. I absolutely can't stand waiting games, like Clash of Clans or Boom Beach. Sorry for being so vague
Hey, if you're into arcade-type games and don't mind wasting some time away there is a cool pinball one called Zen Pinball HD; be forwarned it only comes with one table and the rest require a small sum to be spent. They just released a Portal (from Valve) based table which I'm addicted to at this time. This one is single player.
Otherwise, if you want multiplayer there is one called Taichi Panda which is multiplayer and has stuff going on at all times. They have just received an update which raised the level cap. If you decide to jump on this one, play on server US-S16 Gubbly and add me, my IGN is LiQuiDDiGitZ.
It depends what you like really.
Dead trigger 2 looks great with the graphics set all the way up, however I don't like the control system.
Some of my favourite games that look nice:
Warhammer 40,000 Space wolf (beta) - Geeky turn based strategy
Need for Speed Most wanted - Arcade racer
GT Racing 3 - Nearly simulation racer
Hitman Go - puzzle / micro strategy
Modern Combat 4 - FPS, much better control system than Dead trigger 2
Edge of Tomorrow - FPS based on the Movie
Sould Calibur - Sega Dreamcast "port" beat em up
Galaxy on Fire 2 HD - Space flight / trading / dog fighting
Limbo - 2d platform game
Frozen Synapse Prime - Sort of a turn based strategy
GTA San Andreas - Needs no introduction
IMHO Emulated games are always a let down. The controls work poorly on a touch screen and the graphics are never as good as native games. PSP games look OK but you're stuck with one joystick which is a pain in modern gaming.
6 best multiplayer android games 2016
1. Clash of Clans - is without doubt the most grossing game on every ones list. Not to forget, the game has already been awarded the best multiplayer game in 2013. This probably is one such game which shall never go out of trend. Here, basically what you do is protect your village from the enemy.
2. 8 Ball Pool - This one is for all the peace loving people out there. Generally people associate multiplayer games on android with fighting and war; but this is one of the best games to keep you busy and well entertained. If you like billiards and you can play it well on your android phones, then this is it for you.
3. Ice Age Village - Now that is something, isn’t it? All you do is unlock levels by building up a new habitat for all the characters from the movie. Though there isn’t much to do (unlike COC, which needs you to come back every once in a while), but it surely is a great way to pass your leisure time.
