wvd used to download youtube files fine until google changed something in youtubes website...i dunno if theyve fixed it yet but i would follow the wvd thread if i were u

i tried:
- search function...
- the inbuild youtube from my new energy ROM, the search button isn't working
- the latest official google youtube, it's laggy and no videos in HQ
- WHC youtube, didn't find the start file
- coreplayer v.1.3.6 #7427, the videos do not start
help!
edit: a cab for a working youtube (also HQ) would be great!
Are you positive because I just did a search from the youtube app, using the ROM in my sig/signature. Course, I have a different device but I am posting in the RAPH/TP section. You'd be the first to post about it here...
the youtube app from energy ROM (made by HTC?!) is great, but the four big buttons don't work for me - but i can take settings, watch most viewed and filtering works also.

Lolz... the reason I mention that you'd be the first is because usually if theres a device issue, it is posted in that specific device's forum OR if you believe this is a ROM issue, there isn't anywhere here to post it because if you flash A RAPH ROM to a DIAM, you'll be lucky to get it to running!
Basically, try a re-flash(I wouldn't suggest flashing a RAPH ROM by that mater) or you could wait for others to respond
I have a different YouTube problem. At least I haven't found any other post mentioning it.
I'm running Autonootered 1.1 Eclair with the signed HQ YouTube installed.
YouTube videos work great but there is NO audio with them. None at all. I don't think it is a hardware problem because audio works with other apps.
Had the same problem with the youtube that's installed as part of autonooter 3.
I've tried all the normal stuff... reboots, wiping data, etc.
Any ideas?
Its always stopping the video only audio continues!! is there any lighter easier rom that I can flash to make this works smoother?
I have the same problem. Video plays for a few seconds, then freezes with only sound continuing.
The only way I can watch Netflix is by downloading the episode and then watching it. A bit of a hassle.
I would really appreciate any suggestions on how to successfully watch Netflix on this device. Hopefully bumping this thread will get some response from someone.

You have to downgrade the netflix app.
I have noticed it also and downgrading to version 5.9.0 works.

You have to downgrade the netflix app.
I have noticed it also and downgrading to version 5.9.0 works.
I installed the leaked One UI beta for my T-Mobile Note 8 yesterday and I haven't really had any major issues other than with Youtube TV. It works perfectly fine in portrait mode, but when I rotate my screen to landscape or hit the full screen button on the video, the screen goes black. The audio still plays, but only a black screen is displayed. All the on screen buttons still show up and work when I tap the screen, but nothing will get the video back until I go back into portrait mode. On the pop out player, I noticed the same issue, video working when in portrait and black during landscape mode. Normal Youtube and other video apps work fine on full screen.
I've already tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app, clearing caches, and going through all the settings to try and find a fix but have been unable to do so. Can anyone else on the beta see if they have the same issue with Youtube TV?

Actually I've found that sling and hulu work fine on it. However just an fyi I did do a dirty flash so that could be why. All other streaming apps I have don't work though.

I didn't even think to test it out on other video apps aside from Youtube. Netflix and VUDU didn't work, but Hulu did. How did you flash the update?

I did that too just by using the update.zip file. Hulu worked for me as well. Hopefully we get another update for the beta that fixes this.
Mine was a clean update. I have a N950U1, so I used ODIN to flash the CRK1 firmware, wiped, and then flashed DRL6 in recovery.

I didn't test Sling or Hulu since I don't use those services.
I have closed beta on my note 8 and experiencing same issue on Netflix,hbo go, att watch TV app in landscape mode bit like other have started audio works. Where as regular YouTube app works fine in landscape
Just FYI, it affects Amazon Video, too.
