[Q] a DIFFERENT youtube problem -- no audio - Nook Color General

I have a different YouTube problem. At least I haven't found any other post mentioning it.
I'm running Autonootered 1.1 Eclair with the signed HQ YouTube installed.
YouTube videos work great but there is NO audio with them. None at all. I don't think it is a hardware problem because audio works with other apps.
Had the same problem with the youtube that's installed as part of autonooter 3.
I've tried all the normal stuff... reboots, wiping data, etc.
Any ideas?

Anyone else having problems with Coreplayer 1.2.2?

I have downloaded and installed this twice now and the video playback is awful (i.e. virtually unwatchable). I have been playing around with the settings, but it is still no good.
Version 1.2.1 was fine (apart from not playing youtube videos easily or properly), so there must be something in version 1.2.2 which is causing this problem.

No problems at all here. Watched a movie last night and had no issue whatsoever.
No issues for me.... play with your settings!

what type of video are you watching? Mine seems to work great.
1.2.1 worked great for me too.
I have now downloaded 1.2.2 three times with the same poor result. I am watching avi files (tv programmes) which worked well with 1.2.1 and also with TCMP.
I have been playing with the settings, but with no result so far. Are there any settings which might cure this problem?
at last I am getting somewhere, by readjusting the settings.
So it was my settings which were wrong, not coreplayer 1.2.2
What do you have your video output set at?
can you post what setting you changed so when someone searches for this a solution will be here as well?

[Q] No videos playing on nook color

ok so i recently flashed phiremod v3,the latest cm7 nightly and hc v4 and none of them seem to support video... i cant watch videos on youtube (website not app) yahoo or anywhere. any suggestions? thanks.
did you install flash? I have phiremod v2 with flash installed (from market) and youtube website works fine for me.
flash
yeah i made sure i downloaded flash from the market but i keep getting an error message saying this video cannot be played...
At this time CM7, phiremod (based on CM7) and brianf21's customized nookie 0.6.8 do not support video natively. They hope to fix that in future releases.
Since video is important to me, and not everything I watch is flash, I went back to customized nookie 0.6.7 and installed dalingrin's latest kernel. I'll get occassional FC, especially if advance or go back in video (fixed by reboot), but at least video plays.
video
ok thanks alot. i just wanted to make sure its not just something wrong with my device. im not so worried about the video as i still have my android phone, this is just a toy lol. but thanks again for the info.
Also HC doesn't have DSP either. Nookie 0.6.8 (DSP introduced in 0.6.7) worked when I tried but has a very small stutter like something occasionally running in the background. Went to Nook 1.1.0 rooted and can notice the small difference. A OC kernel might have fixed the problem but didn't try.

NookColor Sound out of Sync

I have a NookColor rooted 1.0.1 not 1.1 because i dont want to install clockwork and then have it stuck on the device and i cant install updates. So whenever i use an app, the sound is usually out of sync. For example, jetcarstunts is really really bad and the sound is out of sync by a few seconds. in fruit ninja there is barely any sound out of sync its only out by a few milliseconds, not really noticeable. But in angry birds seasons, sound is out of sync by a second or 2. Im going to post a youtube video in a few minutes.
does anyone know why? and i cant post videos until 8 posts, just joined but i know a lot about android, i just used droidforums before. go to my channel on youtube, nintendofan123456
anybody know?
I have the same issue with my rooted 1.1, but it occurs only in some games, video and other apps work fine.
I also have the same issue with autonooted 1.1
Same issue with autonooted 1.1 with 1.1Ghz OC kernel.
Thought it was becouse of OC... maybe bug in audio drivers ?
Very annoying in some games\sound making apps
Ya I updated to 1.1 and tested out some apps and they still did the same things. Then I did the Oc all the way to 1.1 ghz thinking maybe it was skipping frames because it was too slow but it didn't fix it im getting really annoyed. Could we get some devs to check this out? And also I will be posting some more youtube videos with other apps and I will put them here. But for now I really want some devs looking into this.
I have the same problem..I have tried different versions of angry birds, but it has the same problem. For others games prepared for Galaxy Tab, NC performed excellent..
P.S It also occurs in CM7 or phiremod v4

[Q] Embed YouTube video lag

Hi,
I've recently bought a Galaxy Tab. It's an euro/international model, completely new. I downloaded Flash, and checked functionality. There's a quite big issue with embed YouTube videos - they lag, a lot. Sound is normal, but video is really laggy. Although I noticed that when I touch the screen and keep my finger there, it displays video normally, as soon as I release it, it starts lagging again.
The tab is now rooted, running the newest overcome, but the issue showed up on the stock gingerbread and on overcome as well. I've tried playback on default browser and on Dolphin HD on all ROMs, and ran the One Click Lag Fix as well, nothing helped. The YouTube app works fine though, it's only the embed videos.
I'd really appreciate any help with the issue - I've searched a lot but found nothing on this.

[Q] Video playback issues

I've been using MX player to watch my videos on the One, and I've got some issues with it. The video occassionally freezes (audio continues) and I have to either wait a couple of seconds for it to catch up, or I have to rewind/forward to get it moving again. This happens on every single video I've tried (at least ones that I've copied over via USB) and I can't seem to figure it out. Already tried using the custom ARM7 neon codec too as suggested from MXplayer but it didn't make a difference. HW+, or software renderer does not make a difference either. Anybody else having these problems ? If so, were you able to fix it, or find a workaround ?
Forgot to add that I'm still using the stock ROM.
Try uninstalling the codec pack, you don't need it unless MX Player specifically asks for it. I can't say I've had video go out of sync before though.

Thanks! I installed it just yesterday to see if it makes any difference. Until then I was using the default codec that comes with the player. I'm using the free version of MX player if that makes any difference.
Bump
No one else having this problem ?
Maybe try a factory rest and see if that fixes it?

Yep - also have this problem sometimes - not tried uninstalling the codecs yet so will give that a try.
You could try VLC Player for android - works great for me with no lag or O/S problems.
Im Rooted, Tampered and running Android Revolution 9.2, with custom 1.29 Audio files(tfa) and PureXaudio 4.0
