This is a sample of the animated icons in status bar made all by me (anyone who has involved in thiming knows how much time they need to be created, especially the signal animation):

Kalagas_Mixed_Theme Description:
1) I have changed every single icon in about 100 system apps + com.htc.resources.apk + framework-res.apk.
2) All .apks are zipalligned.
3) Hybrid battery with 1% battery steps (charging animated icons modded by me are included by default in all my MODs - have a look in small animated .gifs above.
4) Animated icons in status bar 3G, H, G, 1x, E, Signal strength, Sync, Download, Upload, GPS (all these animated icons modded from beggining by me) are included by default in all my MODs - have a look in small animated .gifs above.
5) Black HTCDialer (it's the he_stheone64's MOD with .png icons by me) is included by default in all my MODs..
6) Andanced Power Menu is included by default in all my MODs.
7) Black Menu and Black Popup Windows (big thank to he_stheone64's for all his hard work with many .xml files)..
Instalation:
For installing Kalagas_Mixed_Theme you will need ClockworkMOD Recovery or 4EXT Recovery. Put the Kalagas_Mixed_Theme_xxxxxx_vx.x.zip in the root folder of your sdcard and after reboot into Recovery and apply the .zip you downloaded...
Now your Desire HD will open with your NEW Kalagas_Mixed_Theme...
P.S. Please be patient, it may take some minutes (it depends on how many apps you have installed) to reboot....

1) Volumed_tones_DHD (I took all original tones, alarms, notifications and ringtones and i increased their volume, as many users complaining that they don't hear their phone when it rings - install it as .zip with ClockworkMOD Recovery - If you are using an ext4 ROM, before install please mount system from ClockworkMOD Recovery's Advanced Menu).

Νο mate... All apks are zipalligned... I have no battery drain problems... Restart in recovery and make a wipe cache and a wipe dalvik-cache again and give it one day time as many many apps have changed...

I don't think so mate, cause as you understand all themers make themes as they like... and it's impossible to satisfy anyone...
I wish i could, but imagine if every themer starts to change one icon per every user... First post will be full of several versions... You understand it's not possible to satisfy every demand, don't you?

Battery Drain not due to Theme...its the crap HTC Sence.com

Its HTC Sence.com...I removed it and find the CPU usage comes drown to normal...earlier it was alwayes 100%!!!!!!!

REVOlution DHD Theme - for Sense ROM`s
Since we have Christmas tomorrow a little gift for you guys. I ported the very nice EVO Theme REVOlution from manup456 (so all credits to him) to DHD, tweaked a lot of details to my preference, rebranded it as DHD and added a few hacks incl. transparency in the status bar and 10% or 1% battery gauge indicator.
I just thought that the Revolution DHD theme is a natural fit to the best Sense ROM Revolution HD.
Theme contains framework, htcframework plus 15 themed apps, so Android widgets do now fit way better to the Sense Experience (I don`t like Eclair styled widgets mixed with transparent Sense).

1. What you need before the flash
Root, S-Off, DHD Sense ROM, Clockwork Mod and ROM Manager
Install:
* IMPORTANT - backup your system with Rom Manager
* Uninstall Facebook Update (1.5.4 will be pushed in system/app)
* LauncherPro Users - uninstall before you flash the theme (Plus User delete the launcher.apk from zip and theme LPro Plus via metamorph)
* Copy RevolutionDHD.zip to SD Card - IMPORTANT Stock ROM Users DELETE services.jar from RevolutionDHD.zip before you copy to SD, since the jar (responsible for the transparency) only works in deodexed Sense ROM`s like Revolution HD and would crash your ROM.
* If you prefer the 1% battery steps (theme default 10%) - you can flash the 1% update.zip after flashing the main theme
* Open Rom Manager and install from SD Card
* Choose RevolutionDHD.zip, then your DHD boots in Recovery and installs the theme, copies the Icon Pack and Wallpaper to your SD Card
* Choose your favorite Wallpaper from sdcard/wallpaper (4 Options), if you like customize your shortcuts with the icon pack
Icons can be best applied with Desktop Visualizer (if you use Rosie) or directly with LauncherPro.
* Make sure you choose HTC default skin, otherwise theme will not show up as designed
* Note: If there is a part you don`t want to install, just open the update.zip with winrar or 7zip BEFORE you flash, delete the apk and close the zip.
Known issues:
Just in case you have Weather FC`s after applying the theme, just do the following:
Uncheck sound effects in weather app settings
In case the FC comes already after opening the weather app (which is rare) and you can`t access settings in weather app, just do the following:
Go to applications, select manage, select all
Look for weather provider and delete data
IMPORTANT: kill your network connection (airplane mode)
Open weather, this will now not be able to update as connection is off
Apply settings, disable sound
Restore network connection
Please read this, before you flash:
If it happens, that your right customize button in Rosie dock does not work after you flashed, then this is not a bad thing - no you are one of the lucky bastards with a Theme version, where I already ported the f... complicated remapping mod. This is what you need to do to enjoy that mod:
1. Download the free Launchkey Lite app from Market or download it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=818499
2. Open Launchkey and assign key either to an app or to a custom menu (then pressing the button opens a popup menu, where you can assign 9 shortcuts)

No need to wipe, just flash and enjoy. If you want 1% steps, you also need to flash the update. I prefer 10% since the 1% can make you obsessive, but everyone is different.

The status bar is kind of messed up
after pulling it down it seems fine but when its pulled back the date on the right hand side stays visible does not dissapear like it should do.

This is awesome mate but I'm already using the updated one in the sticky. However mind giving a how to on editing the phone dialer pad? I tried it 3 times and each time I get no network signal. And then the phone bit didn't work and wouldn't open. But thanks for the awesome theme

The notification bar stays stock but the put-down bar is transparent on LeeDroid Rom after I flashed and the sense dock stays stock too but everything else such as the loader works.
Is there a way to fix this?

Did you try to flash again, since it is very strange that noti bar and dock do not change? Even if I`m not using LeeDroid, but I doubt he changed the structure of htcresources

Edit2: Great theme!!! Loving it! I think u forgot to edit four .png to be found in res/drawable-port-hdpi/ in the rosie.apk.... when deleting a widget on home screen u can see it

How To Backup Apps​
-Go to the market and download and install Titanium Backup
-Load up Titanium Backup and allow super user permissions
-Go into Preferences and change Backup Folder name to external_sd/TitaniumBackup (this will save a copy of the files to your external SD card for restoring after flash) then click back and it will reload
-Now go to batch and select backup all user apps. Select the apps you want and hit run batch (top of the screen) once it is finished (you will know as there is a notification in the drop down that it is done) Double check you external sd for the Titanium Backup folder, if it is there then you are good, if not double check the spelling. Make sure it is an underscore between external and sd. ex. external-sd = Wrong..... external_sd = right so it should read external_sd/TitaniumBackup

Thanks i forgot about that, however the network is being slow today. did a speed test earlier and only getting around 400kbps when normally i get 3Mbps at my desk. its funny how this happened to happen when i want to update so bad. So i'm just gonna wait until i get home.

Versions usually go like this

2.2.9.x Themes will not work with this, I upped the version to 2.3.0.0 instead of 2.2.9.1 because the framework changed (5 lockscreens by Whitehawkx instead of the 4)

Yeah, we will work on porting everything to the newest version asap. It takes a while to port like 15 themes though..

1.What you need before the flash
Root, S-Off, Sense ROM, Clockwork Mod und ROM Manager
2. Install
IMPORTANT - backup your system with Rom Manager
* Uninstall Facebook Update in case widget is not like screenshots
* LauncherPro Users - uninstall before you flash the theme (Plus User delete the launcher.apk from zip and theme LPro Plus via metamorph)
* Copy ElegantBluesDHD.zip to SD Card
* Open Rom Manager and install from SD Card or directly from recovery
* Choose ElegantBluesDHD.zip, then your DHD boots in Recovery and installs the theme, copies the Icon Pack and Wallpaper to your SD Card
* Choose your favorite Wallpaper from sdcard/wallpaper (6 Options), if you like customize your shortcuts with the icon pack. The blue wall from the screens has a better resolution, if you pick it from gallery.
Icons can be best applied with Desktop Visualizer (if you use Rosie) or directly with LauncherPro.
* Make sure you choose HTC default skin, otherwise theme will not show up as designed
* Note: If there is a part you don`t want to install, just open the update.zip with winrar or 7zip BEFORE you flash, delete the apk and close the zip.

Known issues:
Just in case you have Weather FC`s after applying the theme, just do the following:
Uncheck sound effects in weather app settings
In case the FC comes already after opening the weather app (which is rare) and you can`t access settings in weather app, just do the following:
Go to applications, select manage, select all
Look for weather provider and delete data
IMPORTANT: kill your network connection (airplane mode)
Open weather, this will now not be able to update as connection is off
Apply settings, disable sound
Restore network connection

Metamorph for Launcher Pro Plus users:
* Load metamorph from the market and install

It's just that i looked at the zip directory of your Splashscreen and its an splash1.img file inside, shouldnt it be a .bmp file for Android Splash Flasher?

You are right, I was one step ahead... you can flash the splash img by:
Copy the image in your tools folder of SDK
Boot into bootloader, connecting your DHD
Open cmd and navigate to tools folder
type: fastboot flash splash1 splash1.img
Then reboot with: fastboot reboot
I uploaded the bmp now.

just one thing, imho the htc clock widget background is a bit too dark.

IMPORTANT: If you are on stock ROM or not on a 2.2.1 and 1.72 based ROM (see system info in settings) , don`t flash this theme!
I'm running Cool ROM v5, 2.2.1, and 1.72 but can't have it flashed, just the wallpaper that shows. What should I do?

That might be changed going forward, that theme is still in it`s infancy, even if it`s a kid of my Milestone Summer Blues, but Sense is so different, that it will still be a long journey. It is like a new flat, it`s never ready.

That might be an addon later, but not as standard, since this is too dark for some people. But having choices is always a good idea.

nice one really like the theme what i don't like is the HTC lockscreen though i prefer the android one, so i simply removed the htclockscreen.apk from the theme before i flashed and voila perfect...

I will launch a Rosie version as addon later, where you can change that shortcut to your liking incl. a popup to 9 shortcuts. It is basically like my Rosie on steroids, only with standard non transparent drawer and 4 icons (ROS has transparency and 5 columns).

If you want to flash this theme on a freshly installed Android Revolution HD Rom, you have to reboot in between. So, the correct order is: flash ARHD, let it fully boot, then reboot into recovery and flash this. This is true for every theme, kernel etc, otherwise you will have issues.
Do a nandroid backup before flashing, just in case. If you want to revert the changes made by this theme, simply reflash the rom.
And don't forget lo leave some feedback

Just flashed over this theme and everything still seems to be green. I wiped the dalvik cache then flashed in CWM, but it seems like it didn't take the blue colors, any suggestions?

Strange.... It works for me. Has someone else problems?
btw: mounting system isn't necessary, it's done by the update-script.

And to make sure that it was this theme causing the error, I did a complete wipe, installed ARHD 6.1, ran the setup. Then made a backup, flashed lordmod kernel, checked to see if that was the issue. Flashed this theme and then tried, though I don't know if it is the kernel that is causing issues or if it is something else.

Are you running the RCMix kernel that is stock with ARHD or have you tried the LordMod kernel. I don't know if that will have any effect but it is worth checking out

I don't know yet, I want to finish this one first.

Just flashed it over and have to say most things are blue now, but the auto correct banner on top of the keyboard still has green, if you didn't already plan to fix that. Overall great recoloring.

Be s-off (or dev unlock)
Install a custom recovery (twrp/4ext)
Download the ROM and place it on your external SD card.
Do a nandroid backup!
Start rom install process and make sure you select to wipe data in aroma
Select your desired setup in aroma, and finish
Reboot the device and enjoy!
If you are dev unlock, you need to pull the boot.img from the rom zip and fastboot it in hboot
Q: How do I install the rom?!
A: Installation instructions above.​
Q: Whats the md5 sum thing?
A: It ensures, that the rom is downloaded correctly and completly to avoid weird issues when installing/using the rom. Google for "md5 sum checker" and you should find what you need.​
Q: Whats the boot.img. Why we need to flash it? (s-off folks ignore)
A: The boot.img is the kernel and have to be flashed if you want your rom running well. HTC Dev Unlock doesnt allow to install the kernel directly when installing the rom in recovery, thats why you need to install in manually.​
Q: I found a theme or mod, will it work on this rom?
A: It's NOT recommended to use mod/themes that dont clearly state, that they are compatible with our rom. Themes for other venom roms, *may* work...however if they flash apps or framework files you may run into serious problems. Anything for the venom theming engine is fine, but remember it may not theme everything on our specific device.​

A: Your HTC Widgets got some kind of 3D effect which may make your Rosie laggy. You can see that 3D effect clearly on the HTC 4x4 Weather widget.
Smooth: Flattens all widgets besides the one you start scrolling
Ultra: Flattens all widgets for best performance
Q: The cube effect isn't working on the app drawer
A: The cube effect just appears when you swipe from the all over the frequent to the download tab.​
Q: What are the correct sizes for the App drawer and notfication pulldown background?
A: Try 480x800.​
Q: What are the correct sizes for custom carrier logo?
A: Try 100x100​
Q: Will there be CRT On/OFF support in the next release?
A: NOT possible, because HTC changed some required code in their libs, which makes it impossible.​
Q: Several HTC Widgets are missing - can't add them to my homescreen.
A: Settings->apps->all apps: choose htc sense and clear data.​
Q: Can I tether with this rom?
A: Native tethering requires a custom kernel. There should be some vivo custom kernels that support this, if you install any and they work, let me know and I'll update that info. Remember only kernels that use "any kernel updater" will work with this rom, as they make a boot.img post install.​​

As if the ROM wasn't customisable enough, the venom devs have also developed the Venom theme kitchen.
Really want some statusbar icons that aren't in the Hub. Or got a great idea for a set of Sense icons? Why not make it yourself and share it with others via the Venom Hub?!
We've put some themes in the Hub to get you started, but the aim is to fill it with user generated content. We've tried to make the tutorial as easy as possible, but if you have any questions, here's the place to ask.
Post your completed themes here, with a screenshot. If the theme looks nice we will add it with credits to the venom hub, so all users can download it from there!
One thing we ask though - ideally you'd be using icons you've created yourself. If you are going to use someone's else icons, please ask them for their permission first. We all spend a lot of our free time making these, and it's really annoying to see your work ripped off by someone else! I'm sure you'd all agree. If you used icons from the UOT kitchen, then say so.

Q: Can I use Venom Themes from other devices?
A: Statubar Themes, Rosie Skins, or Sense Skins should work fine...however update.zip themes (that replace framework, apps, etc) should not be flashed as they will replace parts of this rom with different ones.​
Q: Can I take someone elses theme for another device/rom and port it for venom?
A: We cannot add your theme to venom hub if its using someone else's work, unless they give you specific permission.​
Q: Can I use that "themer" signature badge?
A: If you make either a hub skin/theme/rosie theme or old-school update.zip theme, sure.​​

To team Venom, specifically Nitsuj and Torxx as the devs for WVGA devices, thanks for all you have done. You guys will love this rom, it is honestly the best rom I have ever used.
Tweaks and performance are second to none. Thanks for the work that has been put into this massive project.
I am so honored and proud to be a part of this, even just as a tester.
Some info: Custom kernels work on this rom. If you want to use Redux, flash the sense 4 project X then sense 4 latest.
Beastmode will work, however native wifi hotspot will not.
Beware, flashing an old version of redux will overwrite the custom ramdisk from nitsuj
Status bar themes for other Viper ROMs, like the One X and One S (different resolution) will work on this rom. Most of them anyway
If there is a mod you find from another thread for another device and its a flashable zip, it probably won't work, but run it by here in case it does :
