how to restore nandroid

befor flashing rom i was do backup to sd card named nandroid..but when i want enter to android system recovery and select backup/restore and select nand restore it give me : Error : run'android-mobile.sh restore' via adb!
any one know how i can backup it??

Which Recovery image do you have? I suggest you to install recovery image from Amon_RA...i have it too and it saved my life...

but how to installe it?and how i can use nandroid backaup to get the first rom

Okay, back to basics:
1. Root your tattoo (this is the one click method)
2. Get the flash_image binary, upload it to your device and flash Amon_RA recovery image:

# /path/to/flash_image/flash_image recovery /sdcard/Amon_RA_recovery.img
Don't forget that you need root-priviledges for this
3. Download any ROM and put it on your SD card.
4. Shutdown your Tattoo and press FIRST Home-Button and then Power Button...you'll get into recovery mode and you can backup, restore, flash an update.zip and so on
Next time you can use the search feature or take a look at the sticky topics here - they are very self-explanatory

why i install the custome rom,always come out with mount point..and me cant install the rom..wat is the problem?

Sry but, wth are you talking about? Could you please explain it better?

When enter to the xrecovery and choose install with update.zip..
i want flash the gingeria v12 but it come out with this massage...
but i enter still the old rom..
script generated by amend2edify v1.0.1.2.using mount point for XperiaX8.
performing update..
Mounting mount point...
Unmounting mount point..
update complete.
Install from sdcard complete...

Gingerxperia should be installed with CWM....and if i were you i will install stock rom again root it and install cwm and xrecovery again to solve all problems for sure

i discover that the problem is the file is corrupted, i just download again...then problem is solve....

Hi, i try to install the P.A.C.-man ROM ----> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2278169 for more than a week but it DONT DO IT, i mean i do everything witch is writed in the post but when at last i reboot my i9070 returns to at the before's rom custom/stock i have, now i write what i do exactly :
1.Reboot recovery mode
2.(APPEARS MY STOCK/CUSTOM recovery)I go in Apply update from sdcard and then i choose the CWM temporary recovery file made by Shaaan because the stock recovery says that the pac file is E:Signature verification failed, when appears the CWM recovery i wipe data/factory and then i try to select my external sdcard but it cant mount(says in log)so i choose the pac zip file that i copied in the cell(not externalsd) and after it "install it"i install the correct gapps version that i downloaded from the post.
3.And at last i reboot my cell but it turn like before!!!!SO PLEASE HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!

Try to mount system in that temp cwm. Or install cocore, and you will have permanent cwm.

On the temp CWM recovery there isn't the option mount /system there is only the unmount/system

Then it is mounted.
Install CoCore kernel and use permanent CWM.

[Q] I think i bricked my HTC sensation xl...pls help me unbrick it

It all started when i downloaded the king cobra xl rom 9, after installing the rom i realized my ext sd partition had been redused from 8gb to 236kb. iwent to recovery and tried re flashing it but it told me mt sd card cannot be mounted...so i used fastboot to install the boot.img file from a rom jellybeer 4.somthn rom because that was the only .img file in the rom...so i restarted my phone after installationbut nothing shows just a black screen...i have tried re installing the recovery.img file still doesnt work...PLS HELP ME:crying: PLEASE

hi.can you enter fastboot ? if ok and toy still like to install king cobra xl rom 9.first in recovery do a full wipe .then flash vold_fstab_for_1.28.zip and restart . if you can not enter fast boot first relock your device . flash a RUU.exe . then root again and .... .

hey!
Download CyanogenMod 10.1. then download this recovery CWM
when downloaded copy it to your ADB+FASTBOOT location and make sure your device is in FASTBOOT USB mode. then open CMD window there and type fastboot flash recovery recovery(press tab to auto fill) then press escape
It is says OKAY the click on Bootloader on then select reboot recovery and should reboot into recovery and try mount usb storage to computer from MOUNTS AND STORAGE

Before flashin aby rom, check ur hboot version.
Now, in ur case, copy out ur downloaded rom. Den extract the vold.fstab file (only dat file) located at /system/etc. Open it in a text editor (notepad or notepad++) and look @ d last line.
If u r using hboot 1.28 or 6.28, it should read "sdcard 34"
If u r using hboot 1.25 or 6.25, it should read "sdcard 33"
Save and copy back into d zip file.
Since u cannot access ur memory currently, boot ur fone into recovery and mount sd storage. Copy d now modded zip file to d root folder and flash.
Your internal storage is now visible.
Also, if u have already flashed d rom, u can get a root explorer and navigate to that file and edit it from there, then reboot your phone.
Just professional NOOB trying to be a NOOB professional.

Flash tool Saying that cannot officially Unlocked!
I wana Flash a Flashable Zip file from my PC (not from SD Card) how can i do that while my bootloader is locked i have no SD Card
I have also tried the Desktop Flasher but i got error "Failed to Push Script"
Is there any possible way to Flash the Pre Rooted ROM Flashable Zip (Which i have created using PRF Creator) via Flash Tool or other then Flash tool but Easy Way because im new in this

First flash stock .108 firmware then root and install recovery in it
Turn on phone and copy flashable zip Created by prf creater in internal storage
Now boot into recovery twrp (you may use ndr utility app)
Wipe-> advance wipe->select dalvic catch, cache,system and data and move slider
Now back to main screen and navigate through internal storage and select flashable zip and flash it..
Done..!!

Buddy having trouble in Rooting my device kingdo root says that root success but flash tool saying root denied.
last time i was successfully rooted my phone via flash tool by only flashing a 108 kernel but now i have installed .108 but no root. help me !!!!.

Because of you i finally got lillpop Pre rooted now i can use Xposed and Many more features thanks again!!!!!
