ROM's SKIP Capabilities?

JACxHEROSki-v2.1
http://www.justanotherdev.slackdev.com
= does in this ROM it has the "Skip" button when signing in?
'Core' download link:
http://content.modaco.net/Hero/2.2-update-...core-signed.zip
= also in this ROM?
= just wanted to be sure coz my G1 isn't activated yet. i can't use wifi to sign-in to google i can only use whn i got skipped on that step.
Well, if you bang the phone against your head a few times anything is possible
I heard you can also open the terminal that way also
It will also make you invisible, quick go into the girl's locker room to see if it worked
all adp based roms (confirmed) and all hero roms (to my knowledge) have the ability to skip past the activation.

you really have stopped answering questions lol
hint
Instead of hitting the new thread button, try the search one
I won't be a complete **** the whole time
Yes all hero roms allow you to skip sign in and will allow you to use wi-fi
You could have easily found that out by going back a few threads

bbbbbbbbbbuuuuuuuuuuuuuutttttttttttttt gridlock............. its sooooo hard to search...... it involves using my brain to a minimal extent and also it means i have to do stuff like look........... also i have to think............. and to top it all off there are mean people on xda that will don't want to be kind and polite and answer my questions.......... imma gonna go cry in a corner now
You just get to the point david when the same ?s have been asked some many times which could have easily been answered in the same amount of time it took to post a new thread.that you just get cynical, plus it doesn't help that I have bad influances and a couple drinks in me
Ps I did answer the ?
i wish i had a few drinks in me.... and trust me i know the feeling... some nights i am just happier then others (it shows when you see how much of an ass i am to people) like tonight i found some sweet custom shapes for photoshop that got me thinking of a new theme so i am happy tonight
I must say that I have noticed a huge slowdown of stupid and repeative questions since codina, supreme and me have been hijacking threads out the ass, easily getting the post numbers up to over 100 before we get bored or have them locked
Ain't that the truth, since I don't got a computer now more I can't be making anything plus I am too lazy to learn how to make a theme, **** even set up adb, I won't be making any, any time time soon. One of these days I will learn, maybe even make my own rom but it prob won't be any time soon. I tried to pick up coding but I just can't keep interest, I understand it but I ger bored. At least I can say I did my homework how how android works and the understanding of linux helps.
I need to gain some hacker friends though, since the one I got now is unreliable
I needed to track down some info earlier and hit a brick wall, plus I wanna know how to track someone phone or at least the general area they are in

[Q] Who knows where "colossus" is ?

So colossus is a senior Mod here, (rather "Was" because it is now a seriously long time I haven't seen him around)
and I guess all the guys who ever owned any of the old Xperia devices know him.
A real good guy, and a nice friend of him, but I miss him around and since it's been such a long time, i was wondering where he is ??
So does anyone know or have any closer contact with him have any idea what he's upto ??
It has been awhile
Hello Champ,
Now that you say it, I have to agree it's been some time
~Jaramie
That dam search button

Gets em everytime.
thanks for being smart, but I wanted to know his whereabouts, not his profile link.
THat can be got simply by @colossus
His profile link will show you, though, that he's not posted for over a year. I guess that means he's not around any more. You could always send him an email.

[Q] Samsung Note Issues

I just found the Samsung Note GT-N7000 lying on a wall by my job. what perfect timing seeing as my other phone broke. unfortunately, I'm having a few issues.
1. Phone will not perform a hard reset. I've done the volume up+ home+ power keys and the phone will not respond. I've tried doing it through the settings and can't seem to figure out the password.
2. WLAN fails to enable
3. I'm on T-Mobile and the phone will not recognize my data connection. I receieve calls and texts just fine. But, I cannot connect to the internet.
Is it possible the phone is region locked? would I have to go to T-Mobile and get them to unlock it? any help is greatly appreciated asap. I rely on my phone for work and really need it to perform.
I hate to be that person. But, bump
Could you not ask the original owner who put his phone down for a second, whether its simlocked...? As I am sure he/she will love to answer that for you..
I'm guessing by now, chances are the phone has prolly been reported stolen and de-activated by now... And will end up just being a Tablet very soon...

You act as if I made no attempt at finding the owner of the device. But, I don't think I need to explain myself to you.
if the phone was deactivated, would I still be able to receive calls and texts? because I can.
Who would lose a note and not want it back.however long it takes I think u should find a way to return it.return it to the network provider they will know the owner as I'm sure he or she is registered

It is true, you dont have to explain yourself to me... However, I am sure many other people see this post in the same way. As you've not extactly made your post appear as though you've tried all you can to return it to the rightful owner. No mention of this... Only that you found it on a wall and it comes in handy as your other phone has died? And barely 3.5 hrs after posting the initial request, that your bumping a thread for answers, which shows your desperate for that quick answer...
Some times it can take a couple of days before people see or will reply to a post, not hours...
Not wishing to be mean or anything, but ya gotta see it from other peoples point of view too... Not saying you didnt try to return it... But nothing in your posts express that, only your eagerness to Restore the phone into a working state that you can use...
Don't return it, there stupid fault for losing it... Keep it and enjoy it did.

Seriously? Really?
If so, then let's move further - if someone is stupid enough to keep the phone accessible in public, he just deserves to have it stolen.
The difference between pavement and somebody's pocket is negligible, isn't it?
PS. To the OP - usually, with a found phone, it's enough to dial one of the most recent calls to find who is the owner.
Well said p107r0... My thoughts exactly...
Its not hard to just dial the first person in the phonebook, or recent calls...
My dads mate lost his phone, ok so it wasnt a Smartphone or anything to be proud of finding... just ya old basic call/text type... But he uses it for work, all his contacts and would be lost without it...
Yet one day I was in a pub, enjoying a drink and I get a random call from his phone... The person who found it in the street dialed my number as it was alphabetically first and told me he found it and where he could return it too. I was so pleased to hear honesty from him, and told my dad who passed it onto his mate. This person even waited around for when was a good time for my dads mate to see him, he was so pleased to get it back he rewarded him....
So before anything says its their own dumb fault, they deserve it... Just think if it was your own phone... Would you be happy if you lost access to all your data?? Knowing someone has got something of YOURS?? If your that kind of person, well lets hope they take something from you or your family.. and see how it feels????

Clock anf Fonts

Hello
I am new to Samsung I have a S5 Galaxy.
I had two questions and I really hope people will help me figure this out.
Its first oneis the clock./Alarm.
I could swear when I make a new alarm that a little green box is put around the day that you want. But I don't have that anymore can anybody help me? This will sound strange was there ever a green box around the day for the alarm? Please take pity with me a 62 year old grandma. If there is supposed to be a box around the day how do I get it back?
Or maybe there never was a box.
HELP

[Wrong section, in the future please put this type of post in the "Q&A and Troubleshooting" forum, thanks!]
First off, welcome to XDA!
I'm not exactly sure of the "green box" that you are referring to... I would give it a check but I'm not running the original system that came with the phone right now ):. I hope someone else from our great little community can help.
Maybe if you could provide a screenshot or two that would help me better understand what you're referring to .
