what does it good for?
2.Do i need to unlock my phone to flash a new ROM?
3.When i say ROM i mean Darky's ROM because i hear it's the best one...
4.If i flash a new ROM with Wipe out and everything...does it wipes out the languages too? like Hebrew?
5.Will i be able to write with Hebrew latters after flashing a new ROM
6.Rooted and Unrooted? what does it mean?
7.If i flash a new ROM does it takes off the warranty?
8.The main question is what does take off warranty and what doesn't and how do i get the warranty back in some cases?
9.My firmware right now is Froyo 2.2... should i upgrade to 2.2.1 before flashing a new ROM?
10.If i flash a new ROM can it Brick my phone?

Thank you for your fast reply
and you right...i have No knowledge about this kind of stuff and i have read everything you gave me already...
but still there is questions...those guides doesn't tell you what do you need to do and what not to do from the very first step
unlike HTC HD2 tutorials for rom flashing that have everything...
so if you have some more guides that you can recommend for me...ill be glad
and for my second question: "Do i need to unlock my phone to flash a new ROM?"
what do you mean by "Depends"?

Download it from the original ROM thread and flash it (same way you flashed the UK rom).

and after that restore stock spl from the hard-spl thread to have it completely stock again (you need that for example if you want to return it for warranty). If you want to flash another rom again someday, you can leave hard-spl untouched.
i try update rom in my incredible s to 2.3.3..i rename the rom to pg32img.zip and i dont have soff or root when it finish

sorry but i really can't understand what you're asking
my phone cant find service and cant search signal how can fix it?
did you flash a Custom ROM? is your back cover put in?
no i flash orginal rom through bootloader (fastboot) i rename the rom to pg32img.zip and i flash it after finish the phone cant find signal
you flashed a different original rom? for what purpose?
i'm thinking you might have an icompatible radio.
you can always just use the goldcard method and RUU to flash another stock rom.
after looking at your first post... i think you flashed the radio not a ROM
i flashed the different rom through change the name to pg32img.zip
and i flash it through bootloader
after it the signal is dead
now i flash the orginal rom
RUU_Vivo_Sasktel_Canada_WWE_1.46.669.1_Radio_Radio_20.23.30.0802U_38.02.01.17_M_release_176741_signed_2.exe
but the problem is still
Try GSM Mode only ... the signal should be come
.....
And this should go to general....
i try choose gsm only and didnt work i think there problem in radio
i need he rom 2.3.3 my device is canada version

You do not need a 2.3.3 ROM, what you need to do is flash one of the Gingerbread compatible radios. I have provided you the link in one of the other threads you started.
Hello.
I bought Samsung Galaxy S Plus from e-shop 2 days ago but it came with orange home firmware 2.3.4 I9001BVKPB, which is without TouchWiz. Some people adviced me to flash the current firmware with I9001XXKPS Android 2.3.6. Before flashing, do i have to root the mobile? If i access the recovery mode after flashing, will it recover the old 2.3.4 firmware? Will i lost warranty? If i unroot the mobile, will i have back the warranty?
Sorry for these noobie questions, i am new to this.
Edit: Does this firmware I9001XXKPS Android 2.3.6 support Czech language?
1. Read the Flashing FAQ.
2. You don't have to root the phone if you are flashing stock firmwares. You need to use Odin in the Download Mode to flash the device.
3. You could flash to any version and revert back to original shipped version anytime provided you know what you are doing.
ya you will lose your warranty but you can flash back to a stock firmware and they won't even know you've flashed a custom rom or rooted your phone
How can I save my current stock ROM before user other ROMs? Thanks!

Warranty will be lost, if you do anything with the phones software or hardware, if you unroot nobody would recognize/notice it. If you dont need a new room, just root the phone
Hello Guys,
i was on stock German ROM 4.0.4 with Hydracore kernel.
Now i have flash new Stock Rom XXLRQ DBT with this guid http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31150155&postcount=4554 from Dr.Ketan.
I have again Simlock like when i have buy my SGN ( i have use Galaxy_S Unlock for Unlock it)
Before flashing I did backup with EFS Pro, Titanium and from CMW.
I dont know via what I should do the recovery? I would like to stay on this new ROM.
Was a good idea make data wipe like Dr.Ketan write?

hello there xda users
i have recently bricked my phone and managed to reflash the firmware, but, i had to add the bootloader file with the split firmware package.
what i want to do is install the latest XXLD3 firmware on top of the current s5830ixxkk5/gingerbread.xxlk1 firmware package but im worried because i am thinking that the bootloader file has to be the same as the firmware if you know what i mean. can i install the xxld3 on the xxkk5 bootloader without bricking my phone again? any help would be appreciated. thanks

Use ODIN flash YOUR stock rom csc/pda/modem to wait till it boots, after that go to download mode again and just flash pda of XXLD3 using ODIN again. For flashing you dont need the bootloader use ODIN 1.84. I change my WHLA1 to XXLA2 just by flashing the pda of xxla2
And by the way remember what feetsonfire said, this queries need to be on general section not in development
