Audible working perfectly under Decad3nce's 1.1r2 - Nook Color General

Just a note to everyone sitting on the fence about Decad3nce's 1.1r2. I read the entire thread, followed the steps religiously, and had zero problems getting it installed and running. Youtube, market, etc all working fine too.
As a bonus, I discovered that Audible is suddenly working perfectly as a bonus. Connected, browsed my library, downloaded a book, and listened to it. No muss no fuss.
I am now a delighted Nook happy camper!
Mark

Good to know - I'm going to get brave and try it.

This is Most Awesome, I too have Audible working perfectly after updating to 1.1! WOOO HOOO. Had to call to reset my number of allowed devices and in a couple minutes happily downloading my audio books. Thank you thank you thank you !

Yep, It Works For Me Too..
although it sometimes hiccups on downloading large books.

Streamfurious update-now fills memory

After running Streamfurious for a few hours today my internal memory is totally full, and Apps manager doesn't have a a "clear cache" option for this app.
I'm using CM 3.6.8.1, with apps to SD. This never happened before this update.
Is there a way to clear out the memory using the Terminal app?
Thanks.
Streamfurious memory issues
I have been happily running StreamFurious Pro on my G1 for several months, with almost no problems. However, in the past couple weeks Streamfurious has been very flaky. It just quits after a few minutes. If I try to restart it more than 2 or 3 times, it crashes. I keep getting low memory messages from the G1. When I review the applications, Streamfurious takes up more than 128 MB! The next closest is about 2.3 MB. Usually the cache is around 25MB. Clearing it does not seem to help at all.
If I don't hear anything or get an update, i looks like I will have to give up on Streamfurious, which is really too bad because it has been a very reliable workhorse up until this month. If this problem is resolved I will post the news.
I saw the same memory-filling behavior a few days ago. It was soon after receiving an update for the free version of StreamFurious. I think this update was a mistake by the dev, since it had the advanced features I assume came from the full pay version. When it ate all my internal memory, I deleted the app and then re-installed from the Market. It was fine after that, though not long after this, the dev posted another update that took away the pay features again. It's been fairly stable since, though maybe a bit more prone to dropping active streams.
I was using the pro version, but it recently stopped working correctly. Is there a way to install an older version?

Thanks highvista - uninstalling and reinstalling did help. Still, Streamfurious is nothing like it used to be. Now it is always dropping the stream. I am definitely looking for a replacement to Streamfurious. Anyone know a good one that I can use with custom URL's (one of my main stations is Radio Swiss Classic)http://www.radioswissclassic.ch/en/webradio
I used streamfurious a long time. Im having the same issues and reached the point of uninstalling it.
Someone on the market (under the streamfurious comments, of all things) suggested "Cherry Rplayer". Its free.
Ive only had Cherry Rplayer a day or so, but I can tell you from what I have seen so far it has none of the streamfurious issues.
Blade
Blade10,
Thanks for the recommendation for Cherry Rplayer. I will reserve final judgement until after several days of testing, but so far, so good. It appears to be vastly superior to Streamfurious. Not a single dropout. And it works perfectly with custom URLs and AAC, two of my most important requirements. Thanks again for jumping in and letting me know.
The author released a new version of streamfurious last night that supposedly reverts back to the old streaming engine. I haven't tried it yet to confirm.

Seemed to solve the memory issues. Works great for me
But the old Streamfurious didn't support AAC, so why go back to that? Plus I'm still more than a little irked that they would put out such a piece of untested junk.

[Q] Touchscreen stalling...

( if you dont wanna read the OMFG wall of text skip down a little ways to the condensed section )
I got my NC last night.. was my 10 year anniversary gift to my self.. the 9 day cruise was my gift to my wife =).. i got the NC to play a few games videos books.. web browse NOT on the boat that WAY EXPENSIVE..$.75 a minute anyways..
That being side i dont really know much about the how rooting terminal side if it.. just good at following directions and above average computer knowledge
Heres where i am.. when i got he NC it was at 1 0 0 i played with it last night, and today i downloaded 1 0 1 flashed that it went fine.. played with it.. then when though the autonooter.. youtube broke on me.. so i uninstalled it with appbrain and installed the EVO youtube app and it worked fine..
one of my fav apps on my Captivate is tubemate and i download music videos on it 720p and it plays them great.. having read here that the NC struggles with this i tried it.. could get them to play but VERY slow... also reading here i know that OC the NC can make a big difference so i did a little more research and figured i would flash to Decad3nce 1 1r2 and then install the 1100mhz kernel and those all flashed just fine.. youtube still runs and everything but the touch screen seems VERY sluggish at times.. like it just dosnt want to work for a few seconds then starts working fine for a bit ~10 seconds then back to stalling.. i know some people have had this but no one ever said any kind of solution to it.. so any help would be great
condensed version
bought NC
installed 1.0.1
Autonootered
fixed youtube
installed Decad3nce 1.1r2
installed 1100 OC kernel
touchscreen seems to stall now
ALSO i remember seeing a list of manufacture defect but cant seem to find it.. anyone got a link?
Mine seems to not be quite sealed on the left side.. if the screen is on i can see the backlight though the crack in 2,3 places just small pin hole size places... is this halfway normal?
the touchscreen is documented on the OC installs - you just have to press the power switch momentarily as if taking the system to sleep, then press it again - should take care of the sluggishness

Monster Madness

There was an update and not it supports 2.2 so I went ahead and downloaded it. I am having nothing but issues with it. It plays really choppy. Basically unplayable and it kinda sucks cause it took 20 minutes to download the data so I cant even return it.
Anyone else having issues with this game? I'm running Vegan 5.11
i am having issues with this game too. choppy if it even runs at all, and that's when it's not causing my entire tablet to freeze up.
My advice: wait to download this one until they have fixed the massive amounts of bugs that are floating around in it.
I agree, right now I have waisted $10
Also choppy and crashing. Wouldn't recommend anyone buy this yet.
This makes me sad, I had high hopes for this.
Did any of you try restarting your tablet after downloading? I downloaded and tried to run it and it was very laggy and was no good so I restarted and it works perfectly. I play it all the time with not one issue.
Since the last update, i've had no more problems with this game.

I did exactly that. In fact, the crappy part is that you can only get it with the supplement for VegAn-TAB 5.11. Otherwise, it is not visible on the market or available through the Tegra App. However, the supplement kept killing my audio and making my device starting hissing out of the blue as if it were possessed.
I have a service emailinto the company to see if I can get a refund or if they can send me an apk.
It sucks. It was nice, but I had to sacrifice audio or video. It never played 100%.
I downloaded an updated version. And now its like butter. Game is ok. I prefer gun bros

Black and white jumbled video

Im having what is certainly a stupid problem. This morning I decided to update the touchpad (I think android was originally installed 3+ years ago). I used the guide here and got cm-11-20160314-NIGHTLY-tenderloin installed, everything went swimmingly. This tablet is used exclusively for radio and video in the kitchen and everything seems to work except netflix. More often than not when I start a video it comes up black and white in sort of a jumbled jigsaw puzzle. The audio is fine. I have tried, rebooting, uninstalling, force closing, clearing cache and data, and from the one google product forums thread I found dealing with a similar issue (https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/youtube/3JKWt0rEo5I), clearing both data and cache in chrome as well, to no avail. If I close and reopen the video over and over it sometimes works. Youtube seems to work flawlessly. Im stumped. I hope someone could help with this as the tablet was getting to barely usable and this seemed to have breathed some new life into it.
EDIT I have since tried a rotating list of different roms. The only one I can see to get working netflix video is : cm-11-20151116-SNAPSHOT-jcsullins-tenderloin. Im not sure what the deal is. Its strange that I seem to be the only one with this issue. Oh well.
I have this issue as well. Unfortunately I've no idea how to solve it!

Phone worthless when hooked to the watch...

I have a Note 4, with Maximumn Overdrive MM ROM. I have considered it a relatively good performer, given the age of the phonem, and the large number of apps installed.
This isn't 100% of the time, but a lot: I am finding that it not only lags horribly, but it actually freezes up. Today, I was trying to look up something on Maps, and I just couldn't use it.
I turned off BT, and it started working fine.
Do I just need to get a newer phone (well, I do want to do that)? But it seems to me it shouldn't hit it this hard.
Anyone running a Note 4 with the Zenwatch 3?
Thoughts?

Try Odin flashing stock firmware...
Most likely it will solve the issue you are having.
I have a S7 Edge phone and my watch works perfectly.
Right now I am Chrome Casting to TV, downloading a
new rom as well as reading new posts here and I have
both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled all the time.
I get no lag at all.
Good luck and have a great day.

I may give it a try. Reloading my phone is a large task, so many apps and data.
Would be interesting to hear if anyone wiht a Note 4 is working well with the watch.
Why not try a full os reset before going back to stock?
I tried stock. Not much help.
I have since reloaded the ROM, after doing 3 wipes, and is doing much better.

I think you answered your own question.
When I have odd things happening that I can't figure out I just do it the methodical way: Reset the phone and slowly add apps until I find the culprit.
