[Q] Transparent Docks in Launcher Pro

Hey Guys,
Just wondering if anyone can help me with this.... I'm sure it's something simple I am overlooking, but I have searched everywhere for an answer and have been unable to find one. I am trying to apply a transparent Dock in Launcher Pro, and for the life of me it will no show up opaque.
preferences-apperance settings- Dock Background-Custom....
I have been applying various transparent .png docks I have found (ie touchwiz dock) but will not work.....
Any Ideas guys?

What if you just set it to "none"...? Theres nothing there. Are you trying to obtain a different effect than that?

Go here. I've never had a problem with docks, though. They always have showed up how they should.
Also, there is an app called LPI (launcher pro icons) that has alot of different docks as well. But the link will take will take you to the themes secton of the launcher pro forums. LOTS of stuff there.

Thanks. But I'm looking for the touchwiz look... transparent glass.... I have LPI but it doesn't have what I'm looking for......very frustrating :/

have you tried making your own with photoshop??

I haven't ...... unfortunately I don't have photoshop..... if anyone has a dock such as the standard touchwiz one, please post it for me to try

www.gimp.org or http://www.getpaint.net/ is freeware and work pretty much like photoshop

You need to be more specific.
There are tons of options

[REQUEST] Launcher iPhone-like

Is there? Not a theme for ADW etc. A launcher that will have a dock to put on 4 apps, and the ability to change the icons myself on the desktop(huge icons, without having to add desktop visualizer widgets), as well as putting all the apps in the app drawer on the desktop.
is there? Or am I asking for too much?

Try Go Launcher EX. It uses folders just like MIUI thus you can do the all apps in a folder.

Or if you feel adventurous you could root your phone and use the MIUI rom. most iphone like ROM and interface I've seen.

Try "MIUI.ADW iPhone Launcher" it has all of those qualities you wanted.

I have rooted it and installed the Diet Gingerbread. The problem is, it's an HTC Magic, and I don't think the MIUI rom is available for that phone. ((

Try vLauncher, it is pretty close to what you described.

Guys. This thread was made a year ago. That was before all the iPhone launchers came out.

[Launcher] Sony Arc Revisited

Not taking ANY credit for this launcher and sorry for posting it up again since Sonnysekhon already discussed it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=978990&highlight=sony+launcher but it didn't get much acclaim because someone pointed out it didn't fit right. I'm pretty sure it came from the guys in the Android development forum here, somehow I got my hands on it and tried it and loved it since this one is the right dimensions for the NS.
All I did was theme in some more transparency into the backgrounds and dock. Been running this on my Nexus S(gsm) for months and love it.
I've tried every launcher out there and like them but this is always my goto launcher at the end of the day. Its works great at being minimalistic and very organized at the same time.
Unfortunately its not the greatest for customizations and definitely miss notification pulldown gestures. Its also set at 5 screens only but since the dock folders can hold everything inside them and are scrollable its not a problem.
Just thought I'd share it

i might be a bit offtopic but how did you get the transparent notification bar?

This is pretty nice and very snappy. But it is not centering things for me.. everything but the main dock is scootched to the left with my lcdd at 210...

Can I install this by installing the .apk that's in the system folder?
What do I do with the contents of the META-INF folder?
I can't flash this one because the Nexus S I'm trying to install it on isn't rooted.

Its a flashable zip, flash it through recovery

[HELP] Meizu M9 For MIUI.

I downloaded like 3 different m9 themes.
On the sites, they have all these pics showing the screens from that theme. The main problem, is there is no lockscreen in the theme..
As you can see in the screenshot.
All the indicators for the number of screens. But it only says 5 components.
Does anyone actually have this m9 lockscreen? I want it. Now.

My guess is, that the lockscreen is a WidgetLocker Theme, not an actualy MIUI Lockscreen, though I could be wrong.

No, it's a miui lockscreen that came with the old Meizu theme.

This lockscreen is for the old miui ui (android 2.2) and it won't work with 2.3.4..

The mtz that Realsjn provided is a different M9 Lock.
I was looking for the the kind that's in the pic I provided.
It's the basic three slider, that you slide down.
Has the clock over the sliders and the built-in player too..

Yeah I saw when he posted that.
He made an M9 lock that is almost exactly like the real M9.
The one I want, like the screenshot I posted in the first post, doesn't slide up.
It's like the default slider on MIUI. Where you slide them down.

Please find the file attached , which is Gaya 3D Launcher.
This Launcher is the updated version of the earlier GAYA Launcher .
This Launcher has a wonderful deepend like effect and lots of system
menu options.
It downloads .GPK files as running backgrounds.
As I am a Noob, there are options for themes in the settings, I would like to ask if there is any way out that we can change the themes all our way.
I mean to say , Can we make themes for the Gaya Launcher Updated 3D?
Cos this is the launcher which is absolutely brilliant , and works without a single lag on my Galaxy S2.

Thanks for the Trial, I am also trying but apprently new , I am unable to decode these .GPK files.
This is something that could really be best modded to beat an Iphone .

I don't really see what's great about this launcher. It has limited space for widgets. You can't change the icons. Your app drawer is stuck open.
The only semi-3D effect to it is if you set depth when you're scrolling through your apps.
Really with the 3D launchers we have, ADW, LP, Go, Hi, Regina, etc, I don't see the allure for wanting to work on it.
Not trying to be a debbie downer.
