iPhone theme.

Hi,
I'm interested in getting my HTC Hero to look like an iPhone.
If it helps, you can pretend I'm doing this out of irony.
Here's what I have so far...

(rom is superhero 1.0.1, running aHome, custom theme and bettercut)
And here's what I need to do:
Change the order of the icons in the status bar
Fix all notification icons into the smaller 16pixel size, including clock font
Edit the dialer buttons to look more like iPhone's
Edit the Calendar and Calculator app
Calendar Widget that looks just like the calendar icon, but changes the date
Dock without using aHome
Anyone know how to change the order of the icons, or have any suggestions (other than "GIVE UP NOW" )?

This is looking really good, Imagine running this on an iPhone that is running android... (whoah, head f**k!)

Oh man, I need to get ahold of an iPhone. That must be done. XD
Speaking of which. I'll hopefully be updating this either tonight or tomorrow with a useable downloadable version of the theme which will can used for the statusbar icons and maybe something even bigger like the Dialer!
Updates are going to be kind of staggered after that, though, as I don't have an iPhone of my own and clear reference pics are hard to come by.

Answer to 2.....edit framework-res.apk be as creative as u like! Should be able to resize icons in there,as for the icons order...its probably in the same file,just as xml

I have ahome but i don't know wich theme are you using, because there are a lot of iphone themes in the market.

[Q] Transparent Docks in Launcher Pro

Hey Guys,
Just wondering if anyone can help me with this.... I'm sure it's something simple I am overlooking, but I have searched everywhere for an answer and have been unable to find one. I am trying to apply a transparent Dock in Launcher Pro, and for the life of me it will no show up opaque.
preferences-apperance settings- Dock Background-Custom....
I have been applying various transparent .png docks I have found (ie touchwiz dock) but will not work.....
Any Ideas guys?

What if you just set it to "none"...? Theres nothing there. Are you trying to obtain a different effect than that?

Go here. I've never had a problem with docks, though. They always have showed up how they should.
Also, there is an app called LPI (launcher pro icons) that has alot of different docks as well. But the link will take will take you to the themes secton of the launcher pro forums. LOTS of stuff there.

have you tried making your own with photoshop??

I haven't ...... unfortunately I don't have photoshop..... if anyone has a dock such as the standard touchwiz one, please post it for me to try

www.gimp.org or http://www.getpaint.net/ is freeware and work pretty much like photoshop

You need to be more specific.

[Q] What if MIUI on Galaxy Tab?

I'm wondering what are your thoughts if MIUI is ported to the Galaxy Tab? Or it there someone working on it already? I just want to hear what you guys think about this?

Well there are some MIUI app apks here. No port as far as I know (no MIUI on ANY tab I think)
If I remember correctly... the music and camera app is there. Not sure about the other.
I would like MIUI on the tab too

i'm not that fan of MIUI because i never tried it before , and from the video above that nat shared , its really sucks , few icons with lock screens and touchwiz4 thats all

it`s very fast and nice ui with allot of functions,tested on my nexus one and sgs,will be great on our sgt,but are few developers for sgt,idk someone will port it for us

It doesn't look very nice on pictures or videos. But in use it's very fast and have many options. Tested on an HTC HD2.

there is no MIUI rom for the galaxy tab but you can still use the theme with ADW Launcher or Launcher pro to get the same effects with icons and other stuff ..

[Launcher] Sony Arc Revisited

Not taking ANY credit for this launcher and sorry for posting it up again since Sonnysekhon already discussed it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=978990&highlight=sony+launcher but it didn't get much acclaim because someone pointed out it didn't fit right. I'm pretty sure it came from the guys in the Android development forum here, somehow I got my hands on it and tried it and loved it since this one is the right dimensions for the NS.
All I did was theme in some more transparency into the backgrounds and dock. Been running this on my Nexus S(gsm) for months and love it.
I've tried every launcher out there and like them but this is always my goto launcher at the end of the day. Its works great at being minimalistic and very organized at the same time.
Unfortunately its not the greatest for customizations and definitely miss notification pulldown gestures. Its also set at 5 screens only but since the dock folders can hold everything inside them and are scrollable its not a problem.
Just thought I'd share it

i might be a bit offtopic but how did you get the transparent notification bar?

This is pretty nice and very snappy. But it is not centering things for me.. everything but the main dock is scootched to the left with my lcdd at 210...

Can I install this by installing the .apk that's in the system folder?
What do I do with the contents of the META-INF folder?
I can't flash this one because the Nexus S I'm trying to install it on isn't rooted.

Its a flashable zip, flash it through recovery

[THEME?] Pink Whatsapp? I don't even know who use this for.

So we all know, Pink is a common girl's favourite. I got bored so i decided to theme a lil. Since my girl-friend and real girl-friend have been complaining bout the new Whatsapp Holo (But tbh, i like the new whatsapp then the old gb element style.)
So ladies and gentlemen. Here is a half-pink whatsapp... None of the whatsapp services is been modified or whatever. Just the colors and such. I'll call this beta, maybe if i had the time, i'll consider of improving and use the in-app ui instead of the main android frameworks ui... (By that means, you'll see some blue android ui as it follows the android system... If it's Ginger, it'll be back on it's default color, pink.)

How to install?
* First of all, you'll need to uninstall any whatsapp of your device to proceed. Do a backup of your sweet conversation with your girl.
- Check "Unknown Sources" in Settings > Security
- Get a File Explorer or something to find this file to install
- Then select the app and install like normal app beta you have or blah blah
- Done. Get a kiss from your girl or sth, i dunno. But is done...
NOTE: If you noticed some blue elements are there, that's mean it's using the system default elements instead whatsapp's... So i can't do anything about it just yet. So, yea....
P.S Any themers wanna help me, i'll be much appreciated. My forms of layout are a freaking failure, so if you have themed whatsapp before, please give me pointers to the 'not' theme parts...
