Need help with Font - Android Themes

I accidentally deleted all the fonts from my MyTouch 4G and i installed a custom font.
All the texts are fine, exccept for special sympbols such as the @ sign and others.
Is there some type of .tff file which i need for thos symbols to show up?
Any input would help thanks.

Try hitting my font thread and flashing the default droidsans font (or any of the others). Link's in my sig.

Font folder location?

Can anyone point me where to put the font file, so it will be available under the:
>Setting>Display>Screen Display>Font style
I can actually go ahead and install font from the market, and it shows in there, but now I just want to transfer some font I have to the GNote.
I was able to go to: /system/Fonts
But, I don't think those are different fonts for the system. Because I don't see any of the fonts that I've installed in there.
Anyway, I want to manually put in some fonts in there (Wherever that folder is located), and make it show on the settings.
I also tried using the Font Installer app, but that doesn't seem to work.
I'm rooted by the way.
Thanks in advance.
You need a flip font for that. There's a thread with hundreds in the gs2 forum.

How to change the fonts pls tell me......
There is...
Could you be more specific?
In fact into Play Store are a few apps to change your default font, but as first condition to change it, you need a rooted device, I'm not able to share links cuz I'm checking forums from my iPod, but I use 2 apps, one for General Font and the other for Clock Lockscreen, Font changer and Type Fresh every one explain you how to use them.

Font Changer
Since I used Font Changer to change the font when using Marvel rom, it is easy to use. But first, you should find some fonts, download and copy to SD Card/.fontchanger (I dont remember clearly but you can follow the app' instructions). Good luck

[Q] language issue

korean language disappeared.
then using font changer
my jindle fire hd was bricked.
thanks.
install Korean font
Somehow Amazon drop the Korean font after update 7.2. Every Korean characters look like blank boxes.
You need to download some free fonts. I recommend Naver or Daum font.
hangeul.naver.com/font
or
v.daum.net/link/1795398
Choose the regular font not the bold font. I choose NanumGothic.ttf
You need to rename NanumGothic.ttf to HYGothicMedium.ttf
Using root explorer, copy it to /system/font and change permission rw r r.
reboot KFHD.
You can see Korean characters.
I hope this help you.

HTC Hand Font (v-b-n's upload)

Hello community, does anyone out there happen to have the flashable zip of this particular font? v-b-n's site is down and I cant find this font ANYWHERE! I really want to change my font system wide, so far I was only able to change the regular system font (using font installer root) but not the BOLD or ITALICS etc. If anyone knows where I can get this "quietly brilliant" font in a flashable zip that will effect system wide I'd be eternally greatful.
P.s, if anyone here has a copy of the htc hand or htc hand v2 that v-b-n posted that would be perfect!

Downloaded fonts do not apply!

Hello
My S5830 is on stock rom 2.3.5. I wanted to change my system font. From "Font style" I downloaded an Arabic font pack. Now I have many fonts to set as system fonts.
But when I set any of them and reboot the system, no font change happen and system font is still the default font.
What is the solution? Why does not any change happen?
Is your device rooted? If not, then you'd need to do so in order to change system fonts. Kindly specify which app you are using to change the font.

Also from "Font style" of my device, I downloaded fonts from google, but no change happened.

Hi There,
You will need to Root Your Device first and then try to install custom fonts.

Hi,
if you rooted the SGA, backup the content of /system/fonts folder;
then substitute (use ghost commander) the original fonts with the content of Arabic font pack you downloaded and set the appropriate permission;
the reboot the phone and enjoy
