Any reason why the density can not be increased above 160 in HoneyComb?
Is this a temporary "feature"?
Or is there any other way to increase fonts and icon sizes ?
i'm sure its just a limitation of the sdk image.

The recent update says the resolution was changed but I was curios what it was changed to. Looking at my build.prop file on 0.6.7 im at 1024 x 600 with a density of 160. Can anyone tell me if this has changed? Thanks...

Hi. I've just installed MIUI on my Defy and had the same problem with DPI.
So... googling I found your post and found several other forums where users are saying that MIUI v4 doesn't support DPI changes anymore. >___<!
Actually, testing with DPI Changer, I've discovered that it does support "stock" DPIs (such as MDPI (160), HDPI (240), etc). But it won't work with custom DPI (such as 200).
hi im looking for some help with converting some weather lockscreen icons
ive converted them to the correct size from 128 x 128 from cm10 sensation framework to 90 x 75 cm10 acer icona a500 framework weather size
used a apk multi tool to decomple replace the weather images then compiled the apk and then pushed to device it either dosent show any icons or it just hang on boot up
any help or advice would be great thanks

-chainfire 3d dont work (it can be repaired)
-application run slowly:
rewriting system applications from the source
optimizing applications for ARMv6
transfer system applications from 7.2 cm to 10.2 cm
-tweaked adreno 200 drivers on jb
repair these:

Since our device is ldpi might as well remove hdpi or mdpi images and xml from the apk to reduce size.if possible repartition the device to increase system space since we all use app to sd-ext or int2ext for data and the new roms are getting bigger in size kitkat without gapps is almost 200mb.
Folks, I've installed xposed framework and app settings and tried to decrease the application size to fit better on my 800x480 screen with no success...Tried with DPI, font Size and Screen DP...any guide on how to actually decrease the screen size will be appreciated.

Same problem here. I'm trying to reset Resolution/DPI for some Apps on my Android-Stick MK809III (4.4.2 stock ROM) connected to my F60DAB (=NEX8000). Any changes made in Xposed AppSetting have no effect at all after reboot.

Is textdroider-app worth a try as alternative ?
check your logs, they will tell if there is a problem with appsettings, personally i used on my stock 5.0.1 (nexus 5) with no problems, however on the rom im using now(cm12-based rom) it dosen´t work due to cm´s changes
