Sounds like a story line from the next Ghostbusters LOL.
What .tar file should we use (recommend) with this if we have the Hawk_Sidekick_VibrantPlus_831.pit file?

Can you flash KB1 with this version>?

because it is a standalone exe download. I can upload it in a zip if needed. Trust me, it is virus free. I'm a pretty well known dev on this site, so why would I upload a virus for everyone.

Just checked this out.. Looks fairly promising, basically requires a regedit to get it to download the file.. hopefully i can see what it will do for the Vibrant.
looks legit, but man they were about to lynch the OP for a while there in that thread haha, I guess it's only a matter of time now...
crossing my fingers that T-mobile will do a fast job on getting the update ready for us to

Yep, almost certainly going to be like the first froyo leak all over again, lol.
So FYI, for those who don't know, flashing the previous froyo leak via odin, and then trying to flash back to stock JFD, was the only confirmed way to truly brick a vibrant, so PLEASE don't do anything unless you know 100% what you're doing.
This likely isn't like eugene's version of the previous froyo leak yet, and will probably flash the baseband, which is probably still irreversible (that's the part that caused bricks when trying to revert.)

Initially I would just load a rom(root it) , but I want it back to OEM before I do what I was going to with it...

I'm sorry for not checking that first..
because I've always download the official firmware there..

but im not really sure.. wait for other members opinion about this..

You either restock using overcome method to change the machine type to P1000 or just remove the assert line in the updater-script and rezip.

ya no worries I usually download first from there as well,
I've got the European software now I'm going to try

In need of stock firmware

I have looked on the internet for modem, boot loader, and firmware G920TUVS5EQA2 to flash in Odin. Unfortunately I have been unable to find it. Help would be appreciated
Here:
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/122244/G920TUVS5EQA2_G920TTMB5EQA2_TMB/
Since that will be rather slow without a membership you can also start further back, maybe with EPF1 (or EPK5 if you can find it hosted elsewhere), and let the phone update via OTA.
