Hello.
The interesting name of a site - forum.xda-developers.com, interesting "Off-topic" here is very good.
I spent 5 hours searching in the network, until find your forum!
As one of the proverbial lords of the off-topic, I officially welcome you to off-topic

Hi Guys,
Just thought I'd post and say Hi to everyone on XDA.
Love the site, was lurking for about 6 months, before I decided to join up, but wanted to say a big thank you to all the developers on here.
I have an HTC Desire HD running Android Revolution HD 5.1.11 and as you may be able to tell from my username and avatar, am an avid Tottenham Hotspur supporter.
Hope to make myself as useful as I can on the site, and hope you all keep up the good work.
Cheers guys.
Welcome to forums
Read, Search, Respect and Enjoy!
Speaking of which....did you notice the "Hi" thread that was stickied?

poor him , don't close his thread , he will promise , will not spam , post threads without searching and he will do the home work today by reading the XDA Rules i call it Goodies and not rules lol
my advice , do not post anything on devs section , its the most place you'll get trollllolololll there
Welcome to the forums!
No worries, I will not close, but please, do as Kosh says, and read the rules and follow his advice
Welcome to the XDA forums...have a good time here!
"Bah! Humbug!"
I am sure there will be 2 zeros added next to your post after one-and-a-half years..If you are active everyday! I was not active for teh first 4 months!
Sorry guys didnt see the stickied threads.
I will blend into the background now. pleasure to be on board
I found xda forum very stupid. I had been visiting xda forum for like two or three years but I registered this account way later like some months ago. Then, when I had some real serious problem that I wanted to ask in a development thread, it just won't let me. It's so stupid although I totally understand the intentions of this but really, what if someone like me really need to address some serious issues like some serious bugs in a new ROM or some boot failure issues? And the most stupid part is that you got to post 10 spams before you can speak in the development forum then I was like WTF??
This forum is not a support forum. It's here for developers to discuss and share their development work.
See the link in my signature about the 10 post rule. It will explain why it's in place and help you become a constructive member of the community, rather than a whining leech (not calling you a whining leech - just saying you won't be one ).

Hello,
Why do users need to post 10 posts on the forum before they can join the android development discussions? I've bin a user for quite some time now but i don't post a lot because when i say something it's something that is nowhere else to be found... So i found it quite annoying i needed to write 10 bull**** posts to join a discussion that is usefull.
Greets,
Daniël
Normally, new users look for non ROM-specific solutions.
Some tend to post in wrong subforums, so they're limited to General.

With such an eloquent and beneficial post such as this (where you cannot even follow the forum rules about swearing), I can see we have really been missing your wisdom in development forums.
I am closing this thread lest your incredible nuggets of profundity explode the minds of us mere mortals.
