my phone is looping the cyanogen mod 7 found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=849676 and it is not letting me do anything with it it is just in a constant boot loop can anyone help me
do you use Open recovery to update it?
do you wipe all? factory reset, cache and dalvik cache?
just restart back ur milestone and go to OR mode.
wipe all 3 and apply update again. that should work

Can you enter bootloader mode?
Press d-pad up while powering on.
If the bootloader screen appears you're not bricked.

Hello
I am in a great panic mode.
I applied this lagfix : forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7587405&postcount=417 and since I did it I cannot use my phone.
I am not able to start my phone. It shows me Galaxy S logo, and after that I hear the start up music but nothing on the screen (no animation). Pressing hardkeys does not do anything either.
Above all I cannot even enter my recovery mode. When I press volumedown+poweron button, the screen keeps showing me Galaxy S logo and it does not go any further.
Please help me if you know how to getaround.
Were you rooted when yoou applied update.zip?
Anyway, did you try to shutdown the phone removing battery, and then try entering recovery?
the fix did not mention I had to root my phone, it said it would self install.
Yes I did shut down after removing the battery, and then I am trying to get into recovery using volumedown+poweron button but I am not able to get into it. All I see is Galaxy logo and hear start up music after that with nothing on screen.
OK, I am able to get into recovery mode.. I was trying wrong combinations
Now what should I select I get these options:
1. reboot system now
2. apply sdcard:update.zip (will never do this again)
3. wipe data/factory reset (should I do this)
4. wipe cache partition
yes.. you should do 3.) wipe data. If that doesnt solve your problem, you need to flash firmware agian

Why did you choose to install something not on main page, something obviosuly not very tested and something 2 month old (god knows there are close to ten newer or more tested fixes).
If you can access download mode, than reflash. If not... Well, try the exotic methods (dont know them, as I have working 3 butons)
Hey, for a second I thought it did noy fix my problem as I did not get my animation screen and ony heard music.. But then suddenly it starts up
I think I lost my animation on start up though
I still see that MCR Scripts icon on app loader screen, How could I know if its enabled or disabled?
Thanks a lot guys.. XDA rocks .

I regret doing something like that.. But it was really confusing as there are so many topics on the forum and I was really tempted to solve the lag issue I started facing recently (I installed too many apps).
hey i have the same problem.. my phone goes up into the Samsung logo and hangs there forever, occasionally blinking and making a weird vibration. i've tried factory reset but that doesn't help..
How do i flash firmware again?

Hello
After installing CM10.1M2-I9001-STABLE-BY RDKK I am stuck on boot screen. Difference is that many other people can fix it with wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition, but I dont. Also I cannot get into download mode, all I do, I can enter into recovery mode.
I hope to get some help because who can live without phone these days...

Keep holding the power button and the volume down button and you will eventually get to the recovery to restore your backup or install another ROM.

For anyone to understand what your problem is it is necessary to have the correct terms.
Is your HTC One unlocked/rooted/s-off?
Are you running a custom ROM or are you stock?
Is a custom recovery installed?
Can you get into the bootloader (pressing power and Vol - at the same time whne the phone is off - or first pressing power button for 15 sec with screen buttons flashing to initiate a re-boot)?
Big issue is that when clicking your link a get a massive warning in my browser!
So basically, with the info you gave I am not able to figure what your issue is or how to help you, and the warning is suspicious!

Can you boot to recovery?
VOLUME DOWN + POWER
Once hboot appears, release the buttons and use the volume keys to navigate to recovery.
Once in recovery, wipe Dalvik Cache and Cache and then attempt to boot normally. If that doesn't help, I would boot to recovery again and WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET.
Hope this helps. Let me know what happens.

Install ADB and fastboot on your PC. Connect your phone to your computer and use fastboot to boot into recovery. The steps are already on the site so I'll leave you to find them.

The quote got messed up in your post above so I wasn't sure what you were having trouble with. Unless it's the systemless version, flashing Supersu (or any other root) changes your system partition. Wiping data or the caches won't fix that. The first thing to try is reflashing your ROM. If that doesn't work, you could use the RUU to go completely back to stock.

Never seen that before. Maybe md5 error? If so, it could be that the files aren't downloading correctly for some reason.

problem fixed it just the battery was dead i forget that i am so stupid the battery did the problem from the first place
After flashing stock rom, if the phone doesnt boot for 5-10 minutes. Then turn off the phone. Go into recovery. Do a factory reset. Now you are good to go.
Update: oh good to know that you fixed it. Read the whole thread later.

In my opinion the reset fixed the issue, not the battery
