Supported Languages: English, Greek, ... (Please check and confirm if your language is working and reply to add it in this list)
1. Go To "Settings" - "Language and Keyboard"
2. Click "Select Language" and choose your language from the list
3. Go to your SMS Application and click to write.
4. If you cannot see a language selection in the keyboard just rotate the phone.
5. In the QWERTY Keyboard select your language
6. Your can now write in your language using the T9 Keyboard aswell.
7. Post here confirming that it's working for your language.

Yea i have a version that works with gingerbread too but it was force closing on 2.2.1 aosp roms im wondering if this is the same version im using.

Advantages for me over standard GB Keyboard:
* Enter Key is back (Yay!)
* Symbol Insertion is far easier
However, after exiting the app (ex: market, messaging etc. I get an FC, after which I have to enable it again. But, the same thing happened to me on Swype, so cant complain)

Allows keyboard calibration as was the case with the Sense Keyboard.
Clicker is htc calibration..

I've written up a little guide for those of you who want the quick and easy way to get the new Android 2.3 keyboard on your Vibrant with 2.2. Enjoy!
Requirements
Device must have root priveleges with Superuser
Android 2.2 Froyo operating system
The latest “Voice Search” application from the Android Market
Make a backup of LatinIME.apk in system/app folder just in case if you have it!
Clockwork Mod Recovery
Deodexed ROM
Go to the Market and download Rom Manager to install CWM Recovery
Problems
Auto-correct feature is broken Working in v2
Vibrate on keypress doesn't work
If you are running a completely stock, odexed ROM, this could mess things up!!
Instructions
Download the .zip file provided by Peter Alfonso & Fabolous
Mount your device as USB storage and throw the zip file into the root folder (the main one)
Boot into Clockwork Mod Recovery
Once in CWM recovery choose to install zip from sdcard
Choose to install the .zip you downloaded in Step 1
Reboot your device! Congratulations!

followed directions carefully and flashed using clockworkimode and after rebooting it is on the internal sd but did not load as a choice in keyboards. Seems that all keyboard choices are the same as before. In Root Explorer latinime.apk is the only one showing.. Any and all help is warmly received.

Are you sure that these languages don't included?
Htc ime include menu languages and the others than english selected automatic with the device's locale. So if you have for e.g german locale, then you should have english and german languages available. Just activate the keyboard in landscape mode and the settings icon sould replaced with the language selection(this happens for me in every rom that I've used)

After installation it is possible to switch between gingerbread and HTC IME keyboard? Or will GB-keyboard no more be usable?

I hope you could help me with a keyboard problem of my XT702 (Milestone).
The hard keyboard has a button to toggle the input language between Arabic/latin input which worked perfectly with the Motorola stock ROM, no matter if the system (phone) language was set to Arabic or English... no difference. A small notification icon was shown left beside the signal coverage icon at the right top corner.

After flashing many of customs Roms like iceandfire v3.2 (24-Sept-2011) it's not possible any more to type in arabic characters on the physical keyboard regardless the phone is set to arabic or english, the button to toggle language brings up Settings, further if pressed after selecting "New message", it calls up Add subject/Discard... the notification icon for the input language is gone too!
The soft keyboard is working and i can change from arabic to english .
1. Is it my mistake, did I miss any setting or update I have to flash ?
2. Is the original Motorola keyboard available to set up (install apk or else)?
3. Alternatively, is the there a different keyboard solution available like the WM
Any help with this would be very much appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

As far as I know, they keyboard is not available through an apk. ..
try flashing an sbf that supports Arabic with RSDlite

in the lastest version of CM7 of nadlabak this is possible, after flashing it you need to configure secondary keyboard under settings->Cyanogenmod -> input....

Exactly
Only Stock 2.1, 2.2, and CM7 (nadlabak, HO!NO! )have arabic feature of the hardware keyboard.
as described above go setting>CM settings>Input>secondary char-map and choose Arabic.

But I don't know why CyanogenMod developer not informs us that there is Arabic support on they rom...!!!!

Thanks Kabaldan, finally I don't need to use keyb-patch to modify framework.jar every time I update CM.
However, it was easier than on Froyo roms - one patch generator for all GB roms at a time.

This is a complete port of the galaxy s3 personal assistant app (powered by vlingo)
This full port includes not only the modified app to stop network errors but also the tts (text to speech voice) and the vlingo voice recognition and it is packed in a flashable zip for easy installation.
What is S Voice?
S Voice is samsung's personal assistant app, or as many see it its response to apple's siri. Below is a video I found on youtube of s voice in action.

-text-to-speech output to samsung tts

-Samsung... the UI, maybe more?
-darkmantra... extracted all the files and made the original zip
-wanam... fixed the network error? Correct me if Im wrong
-inspiredbyhtc(me)... Merged the work together and made the zip compatible with the DHD

This is the translation you required:
It 's optimized for HD displays, but you can also install it on S2 or other device.
On the Samsung devices you need to use Explorer or other similar app with root privileges to replace the .apk instead to use the vocal app of the system. This is because Samsung devices just have the voice app so it must be replaced to make it works.
For non Touch Wiz devices you can just install the .apk and it should work quite well.
The Italians servers are not officially open yet, so the they couldn't work fine for a while.

Yeap same here.
I installed yesterday and it was many apps with chinese language.
And it was laggy. Some of setting force close and it said that my dinc is not rooted.
Btw moonlight, looks like you have another dinc rom on your website. Is it on chinese language too?

so, when i initially flashed this rom, i'll be honest, i was not pleased. it was laggy, it was buggy, and i was abut to switch back. But, before doing that, i did somethings.
1) open all of my rooted apps (titanium backup/smaneger/root explorer/etc...)
2) close out of all those apps
3) open permission manager
4) check the second selection on the first tab (idr the name, but it is the lowest one)
5) click on each app and switch from ask to allow
6) open titanium backup
7) delete all the bloatware
8) flash incredikernel 12/11/12
9) run supercharger script
10) reboot
11) enjoy.

It have most languages and you should use morelocal.apk to select your local

Can you give me the steps?
