[Q] 1930mAH Battery? - Milestone XT720 Accessories

I just saw this on ebay
_ttp://cgi.ebay.ca/GOLD-1930mAH-BS6X-BATTERY-MOTOROLA-XT720-MOTOROI-UK-/140473180609?pt=UK_MobilePhones_MobilePhoneAccessories_MobilePhoneBatteries&hash=item20b4daa1c1#ht_3013wt_1139
anybody know if its legit or not cause from what i know the stock battery is 1380 mAH a 1930mAH battery would be really useful to have if it is actually 1930mAH and it works properly i.e. doesnt explode or something.

fake, don't buy it

Ive been hoping for a high capacity battery to eventually come out for this phone!
confirmed fake ? how can you tell its not the 1930mah as advertised

1500mah batteries, anyone tested them already?

I found some 1500mah batteries on ebay. They are dirt cheap and even have free shipping. Sounds to good to be true so anyone tested one of these batteries already?
since i cant post links look on ebay for: Legend 1500mah
The legend only came out a month or so ago, and you really believe that there are already replacement batteries with a higher capacity on the market?
If you're lucky they'll only be of inferior capacity. If you're not so lucky you might end up with a destroyed phone, or worse like severe body burns from an exploding piece of crap battery made by a Chinese company that couldn't give a damn.
Protect your phone by not buying one. Protect other consumers by not buying one, thus reducing the amount of counterfeit product on the market. Protect yourself from bodily harm by not buying one...

Although I praise your concerns about my personal safety that wasn't the question. I know they are dirt cheap and I know what the risks of faulty batteries are. But you can't judge everything on gut feeling so that's why I'm asking if anyone had experience with them. If they are selling them people must be buying them.
Sadly people buying a product doesn't actually say much about it's build quality but I'll not bother you further with that
If someone has a good report on those batteries I'd also be interested in reading it. But are people allowed to browse the net from the Intensive Care unit? (only kidding)

wow, sounds very ominous, beware the evil battery
I would be interested to know if these are a scam or not.
Does anyone offer a larger capacity battery for the Legend yet? (Or is it likely they will?)
for alot of phones there are large capacity batteries how ever for the legend its harder i guess. Mostly the higher capacity batteries are slightly bigger but the legend design doesnt allow any room for that. So it has to be a battery with exactly the same dimensions.

Well if you look all over eBay (sorry can't post link) there are 1500mAh battery's widely available from Hong Kong and the likes!
But for €6, i dunno will it even work!
Why do you want others to "test" these batteries for you?
Why not buy one yourself - test it - then let us know what they are like?

Haha!
Nice!
my nkia e71 battery is virtually the same size, so there is no reason why there can't be a good quality 1500 at some point
nokia e71's screen is about half the size, not a touchscreen, inferior technology to the legend's, far fewer apps so much less usage etc etc etc
I'm not comparing the phone, only the battery.
but the battery is only as good as the power requirements determined by the phone's components and applications. I'm sure if you stuck the legend's battery into an old brick it would also last ages, but that's largely because it's not being drained by anything

He is saying the battery has the about the same physical dimensions and packs 1500mAh, so it is possible to make a good quality battery with these specs.
Got it, but I meant the current battery is probably just as good quality wise, but more juice is being sucked and at a faster rate.
Here's another way of putting it, do you know of any amoled touchscreen smartphone that runs many apps, WiFi, gps etc etc and lasts several days of regular use?
ive just ordered one 1500mAh HIGH CAPACITY BATTERY FOR HTC LEGEND its on ebay but its a uk company called ecell, ive had stuff of them before and the quality always seems good, ill post back when ive got it and tested

Any results yet =)?
I have exactly the same one in mine Legend.
To be honest....it is ****.
Some e-mailing, browsing, a hour of music listening and BOOM...it's drained.
Beware.
I honestly think original battery is better.

That's completely irrelevant. The Legend packs a 1300mAh battery, the Nokia E71 apparently has a 1500mAh battery with the same dimensions.
All he's saying is that it's possible to make a trustworthy 1500mAh battery that would fit the HTC Legend. No one's comparing battery life, we're comparing battery capacity. I don't see how the draining rate of the battery is relevant. A 1500 mAh battery has 15% more capacity than a 1300mAh battery and thus has 15% longer battery life. What's not to understand about this?
Whatever...

prolong battery life

I guess you mean the replacement batteries with 3000-3500 mAh, in that case: yes the official power pack is better! If you do a little search on ebay batteries with hughe figures on the lable here or elsewhere, you will soon learn that those batteries do not keep what they promise!
really
so that capacity for replacment batteries not tru

Unfortunately not! If it was, I would own one myself!
Here is a current example of an unsatisfied buyer:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10857852&postcount=54
But i see some buyer say that's 3000 good battery and better than 3500.
They just dont like heavy and ugly look for sgs after that.
Whats ur advise for me, take power pack or battery replacement.
Because am going to buy 1 of them.

(Q) Ultra-High Capacity Samsung AB653850CE Gold Battery - 2430mAh

Have anyone tried this????
The ultra high capacity battery for Nexus S, boast 2430MAH but has the SAME SIZE with the original battery!!!
It's not the real capacity.
Put it this way: the OEM batteries are made with almost latest Li-Ion technologies. Unless there is a breakthrough discovery which will double the amount of energy stored per volume unit (in which case you will see this all over the news) any battery that will claim more than 10-15% energy boost in the same volume is a fake.
Take as an example the Momax batteries.
They've achieved to put 1700mAh in a battery the same size as the original 1500mAh used for Galaxy S (I had one of those on my ex GalaxyS) and indeed .. it was "a little" stronger than the original. Anyway, in order to get 2700mAh, the Momax battery got double the original volume (I also had this huge battery and indeed, had the claimed capacity).
Now ... just look over the internet after the manufacturer of these wonder batteries you're asking in your post and see if they really have the reputaion for "super-batteries" ...
Also Seidio make ultra batteries but are too big.

I found a review on Amazon for this battery. I always take these with a grain of salt as there are so many variables to conclude "Your Results may vary".
I found the OP's 2430 Double capacity battery on Ebay. I went through the reviews and a few savy users stated something similar to this.
Let's call it fraud. I was not expectin a 2.43mAh but gettin a 1367mAh is bad!

What a waste of time and money. I followed the instructions exactly. Charged it for 5 full cycles and allowed it charge after it was full. This is labeled as an 'extended battery' yet there is no extended life to speak of. If anything it at or worse than the original battery it came with. I also was experiencing more of my programs force closing than usually. If this battery was only $19.99 than maybe I wouldn't care as much, but at $50 you have to get what you pay for. Avoid and get an extra OEM Genuine Samsung Battery or an extra wall charger for work.

So I tend to agree with ro_explorer that unless there was an advance in technology this may be too good to be true. But let's see. Best of luck.

What I was saying about seeing stuff over the news ?
Researchers increase charging capacity, speed of lithium ion batteries by a factor of ten
So ... maybe in about 3-4 years, along with multi-core phones, we will see also super-duper batteries .
How a 15Ah would sound on your nexus S device ? LOL ...

2450mah gold battery

Guys my battery has swollen so I am thinking to get a new one but stock one is only 1500mah.
I see batteries with 1800, 2450, 3500mah on ebay. are those good?
Please if anyone has used or heard them review them.

i got a 1800mAh battery from ebay and it lasts 30hrs if i don't use the phone a lot, 18hrs max else (i think it's really 1200mAh or 1500, a fake)... and i can tell for sure that the 2450mAh batteries are fake, there are dozens of negative reviews about those
if you have to get a new battery you have two options: a new original samsung battery or an extended battery, the real ones are visibly bigger than the normal ones

And may i get a link from where you bought?

LG G2 3300mAh BL T7 eBay battery

Hi guys, I research the battery to replace my old 1 1/2 year old battery and found out this
http://www.ebay.com.sg/itm/3300mAh-...LS980-VS980-/201392264411?hash=item2ee3ea14db
The battery seems to have more capacity than OEM LG G2's battery.
Does anyone tried this battery before?
If you purchased and tried it, which reseller did you buy from?
How is the result and battery life?
Thanks!
If it has risk of explosion stay away from cheap Chinese brands.

Try and let us know
Those Chinese batteries always indicate higher than they actually are. Stay away from them, they're junk.
I had the same experience with the Samsung S4.
It's a marketing scam. The 3000mAh battery is pretty big itself, cramming extra 3300mAh is impossible without size increase (think about cell count)
Save yourself from stress & problems, get the 3000mAh one (and OEM if you find)
I tell you from experience that do not rely on the Chinese mh, are not real never
Go with a genuine part. If it swells or leaks, it will damage your phone.
