When on skype, speaker will be off when other party can still hear me loud and clear. This is the case also with a headset.
It seems to suggest that sound circuitry is being switched off when screen is off.
I'm running stock streak rom and latest skype from market. Any one else experience this issue?

Hi guys. Have any of you used the i9000 headset on your Nexus S to listen music? It sounds horrible. But the problem seems to be more on the software side. On Voodoo control, if I use the mono option for the headset it gets better, but at normal volume it gets distorted. It's hard to understand if you cant listen, but has anyone tried it?

I have been playing around with serendipity 7, I opened voodooing and not quite sure what I did but now my speaker is mute. If I plug in a head phone it works but there is no audio if I unplug my headphones.

Hello, I installed Omar Avelar's ROM, since I did this I can't hear music from other earphones rather than Motorola's stock ones. Any idea how to fix this?

I have a slightly different issue. I'm also using Omar's ROM. My headphones normally work fine but if I receive a call whilst the headphones are plugged in and unplug the headphones to take the call, when I plug the headphones back in the volume is very quiet in the right hand earpiece. The left hand one is normal. I use poweramp for music playback btw.
The problem just fixes itself eventually. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

As is the case for any small speaker enclosure like the one on the Xperia Z, it is not advisable or efficient to maximise the volume. The speaker and its enclosure are simply too small to work well at maximum volume.
Your phone is acting normally.
Working fine at max volume here.
How clear is the recording you're playing in the first place?
Maybe return it.

Hi all,
Today I've tried to use Skype video calling and it works perfectly regarding video, but my audio is incredibly quiet and going trough top speaker only, same as when I do regular phone call. So if I want to see someone during talk, I barely hear him. If I plug earphones, it is fantastic.
so, is there anyway to enable both speakers during Skype video call?
I'm running stock HTC One with all latest updates. Skype is also updated.

I'm having the same issue, not sure if it's a bug in the Skype but I always felt the app is has lots of bugs.
Any news about this? When can we expect speakerphone option?
