UPDATE
For personal and financial reasons I'll temporarily discontinue uploading new releases of the 7Launcher project.
The launcher is not dead!! It will either be incorporated in the WP7Android Project or it will go payed/donate on the market in the near future.
I'am working on new features and and improved overall stability/quality. Already implemented Live folders & tiles, improved stability and drag&drop mechanism. When it will be re-released will have social network tiles, contact tiles&live folders and more live tiles.
A big THANK YOU to all that took an interest and tested this project and my apologies to those who still love the 7Launcher.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi guys.
Not so long ago I've tested some WP7 Roms and I must say... I was quite impressed with the new windows mobile looks and feel. Simple, elegant and yet functional (didn't expect that from Microsoft ). Of course it will still be a while for the first daily usable WP7 Roms (battery life is crap) and quite frankly the only thing i'am not happy with in current Android builds is the e-mail client. On that side, WP7 is even worse... I'mean fewer options that in the stock android client.
Anyway, like I've said before was quite impressed with the WP7 looks. I've searched a little and found some beta apps on the market that bring the WP7 launcher on the Android phones, but none of them worked quite right for me. So, I've decided to cook my own...
The app doesn't have to much features but I've built it for my own needs and taste.
Features (for long click on apps list or tiles):
- Pin/Unpin tiles
- Uninstall apps
- Exchange tiles position (just chose Move tile and then Move here)
Options:
- Change wallpaper (the launcher background is black, but it's useful for the lock screen wallpaper)
- Use built in icons for some apps or use default app icon on the tiles
- Change the tile color
- Reset tile color to default
- Chose between opaque and transparent background (uncheck this if you want to see the wallpaper)
The app seems stable enough for daily usage. Only tested it on my own HD2 and ADV emulator.
Landscape mode might not look so good on your display.
To replace the original launcher just clear the launcher cache and defaults then press home button and select this app.
Please let me know what you think.
Starting today the releases will have build numbers (ex. 01,02....)
21.03.2011 (beta 07-1) - quick notifications fix
21.03.2011 (beta 07) -Available now
* Added Drag & Drop support for re-arranging the tiles. Long Click on a tile, release and move around... Drop it over another tile to switch places, drag it outside the left screen border to remove it. Needs serious testing
* Added weather tiles background support. It's not as complicated as it might seem... just puts a picture under the weather info depending on the current conditions. I love the way the SlideShow tile looks like and made an improvement to the weather as well.
* other fixes
15.03.2011 (beta 06-1)
* Added SlideShow tile. Well, it may not be a slideshow but it randomly changes pictures from a given root. If u click on the right-top corner of the tile you get the picture preview.
* minor fixes to weather and launcher app
!! Important: I recommend clearing the launcher data before starting the new version. Until i find a way of modifying the db without a wipe. Please give feedback about stability
14.03.2011 (beta 06-0)
* Modifications to apps core
* Added the possibility to have multiple weather tiles with different locations (same update interval)
* Added StickyNotes - post-it like app & tile. Just add the tile on the tiles screen and click on it to change text
* You can use multiple post-its by adding a new instance of the app to the tile list. Each note's tile can have a different text which can only be modified by clicking the tile itself.
* Added 3d/shadow effect for tiles (not visible on default black background - see new Screenshoot)
* minor fixes to weather and launcher app
!! Important: I recommend clearing the launcher data before starting the new version. The new version uses a different method to keep track of tiles.
10.03.2011 (beta 05-2)
* Fixed weather tile and app (again ) Now it should update even in standby. The previous release didn't update data if the app/service was paused...
08.03.2011 (beta 05-1)
* Fixed weather tile and app
* Added night weather icons !! Be aware: because Google API doesn't provide Sunrise/Sunset info, the night mode is set between 11PM - 5 AM
* Made some modifications to tile notifications
07.03.2011 (beta release 05)
* Rewritten UI redraw procedures to support double tiles
* The landscape mode has 4 columns instead of 3
* Option to disable auto-rotation
* Added live weather tile - to use the tile install the Weather app, add it to tile screen and activate the service form the menu. The life tile config and forecasts are done in the Weather app. If u don't install the Weather app you'll get stuck with my home city forecast and 1h update interval!!
* Other minor fixes
!! Please report any UI bugs attaching a screenshot of the problem. Some users may experience text display problems. I'am having a hard time to adjust the font size because the default varies from build to build.
25.02.2011 (beta release 04)
* Added the option to change tile text color
* Added tile notifications for missed calls, messages, email (should work for stock mail) - disabled by default, you can enable it in
the More menu. Needs testing!!
* Other minor fixes
24.02.2011 (beta release 03)
* Added some eye candy animation to tile redraw (tell me if you like it)
* Some minor fixes
23.02.2011 (beta release 02)
* Added the possibility to theme the tile icons. How does this work? Well, it may not seem like much but i like to keep things simple. The app adds a WPL folder on your SD card. Inside you'll find a folder named Themes.
To make your own theme, just create a sub folder in the <Themes> directory and name it as you wish. This will be your theme folder. Now add icons to the folder.
Important Notes!!!
- The icons must be named like this: tile_<app name>, where <app name> is the application you want to use a custom tile icon for.
- The icons are 175x175 transparent PNG files (didn't test for other sizes... might work, might not)
- The <app name> is case sensitive. Ex if you want to replace the tile icon for calculator then <app name> = Calculator => /sdcard/WPL/Themes/<Your theme>/tile_Calculator.png
18.02.2011 (beta release 01)
* Implemented the auto-rotation. Now the app auto rotates on a custom procedure. Might not work well for everyone (awaiting feedback)
* Modified the transparent background method. Now you have the system wallpaper, even if it's a live wallpaper!
* Added new color picker (full spectrum). A big thank you to Yougly for posting his code (http://www.yougli.net/android/a-photoshop-like-color-picker-for-your-android-application/)
* Added the possibility to change apps list text color
* Lowered the Min SDK req to 8 (let me know if it works). Warning: some features might not be available in older SKD's.
* Some other fixes..
PS: Be aware!!! It's my first Android app... I'am not responsible for any damage or problems you may incounter.
looking good, downloading...

Like i said in the initial post mate... there are two apps on the market that i know of, but didn't liked them.
This is my own implementation.
I'm looking forward to what this project will become! If you manage to capture look, feel & smoothness of WP7 home screen on Android, then you're app will be brilliant. And with extra options (and high quality) it can even be oponent to LauncherPro or ADW.Launcher!
very cool ! haha ...
Thank you so much!
doesn't install for me
works like a charm, also the behaviour is almost same as WP7. really like it, and I'm looking forward for next releases

Hello!
I took your launcher for a test drive and was impressed. I have written a very detailed review at my blog that you might want to read. It also includes a wish list of improvements that'd make it even better and more usable in my opinion. Here is the review: http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/install-windows-phone-7-launcher-on-android/
Oh and one thing that I didn't mention in my review (to avoid getting you negative publicity) but would like to bring to your attention: I experienced a few Force-Closes when changing the screen orientation by tilting the device while I was messing around with the options. Can't manage to reproduce it intentionally but it happened more than just once. Other than that, it runs pretty slick on my Nexus S. Kudos to you!

WOW!!
Thank you for the great review (didn't expect that ).
I'll look into all the things mentioned in the review (as long as the time will allow me ).
The double tile option is indeed hard to implement as the tile management is done within a GridView.
The live tiles and notification would be possible but it would take on more memory. Personally i don't find any other use for them beside looks. I've left the android stock notification bar default on purpose. I love its functionality, and didn't see any point of reimplementing a notification system as long as the stock one works just fine But as mentioned above, i'll look into all the requests.
This project doesn't aim to be a WP7 clone. My goal is to implement the best of both systems, meaning the WP7 looks with the Android great functionality.
Thank you again!
PS: The FC on auto-rotation happens with shake like movements due to save/restore procedures. I hope this will be fixed soon.
How to install on HTC desire HD?
Seems great

great.
good job

Buen trabajo.
Genial
mate, your application is simply wicked. working well on my unit and haven't had a crash or a freeze. a friend of mine has a mozart and i must say your interface is a good contender. HQRaja's review is spot on and i'm looking forward to the next release.
Nice, but I had to uninstall it. As you said the battery drain is very high. I'll come back to it as soon as you fix that. Thanks

GDE version 0.3.0.1 is in the market:
Whats in it?
Transitions ( cube, stretch, fade, normal )
Customizable toolbar button actions ( call, add, sms, browse, settings )
Customizable Application folders menu
Homescreen settings ( 1-7 homescreens )
Ghost drop ( shows you the drop location when hovering over an item )
Auto scroll ( Hold the left or right side of the screen while scrolling and it will continue to scroll through the screens )
Fast forward / Fast backwards ( swipe hard left or right to go to the first or last screen )
Endless loop for transitions ( In cube, stretch and fade transition. You can go from the last screen to the first and vice versa )
Normal icon view in tray, as well as list view with alphabetical grab handle (much like contacts scroll)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Features on the to-do list:
Advanced Search ( search the web, media on the phone etc etc )
More toolbar actions ( might even get an advanced setting where you can setup your own intent )
Advanced settings for the left toolbar button while dragging ( drag an item and drop it on the left button will show a context menu with options like uninstall etc )
Landscape mode.
And much more things....
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to:
How to drop an item in/on the menu
Create a folder in the "Applications"-menu. Now drag an application item over the up-arrow on the toolbar.
The menu will show up and you will see your folder. You can now drop the item in the folder.
You can also drag an entire folder this way and drop the complete folder in the menu.
You can also drag the folder or the application back to desktop.
How to get back when in a menu
You can either press the back button if you are in a submenu or use the upper left back icon
How to switch from grid to listview and vice versa in application menus
You can press the upper right icon ( still only shows a listview icon, but it will change )
I have problems opening... How do I open GDE?
Normally Android should bring up a dialog to choose which Homescreen you want to use.
If this is not the case you can make it ask you manually again. I will write down the steps you will need to make:
Go to Android settings
Go to Applications
Click on Manage Applications
You will now get a list with all your installed applications.
Because Android is set to use a default homescreen ( most likely the google one ) you will have to clear the default settings. ( Like I said earlier normally Android brings up a dialog, but if you ever want to remove the defaults for an application like a homescreen, dialer etc you can do it here )
Scroll to the set homescreen. In case you are using the stock homescreen this will be "Home"
You will now see all the application settings.
Scroll to "Launch by default" en click the button "Clear defaults" ( this will not erase any settings, but just forces Android to show the dialog to choose between homescreens )
Now press the home button and you will see the dialog. You can either just click GDE to use it but every time you press the home button it will ask you again to choose between homescreens. You can also set the checkbox to make it always use a specific homescreen. In case you want to change you can use the same steps mentioned above.
It could be that the actual screens slightly differ from this on android 2.0.

Special thanks to:
Overground for his extensive testing/troubleshooting
Very nice... I like the look of the buttons on the launcher too, whats the one on the right hand side for? Obviously the left one looks like it's to launch the dialer... Very nice work man, looking forward to it
I think the right one is for Settings.
You are both right... and wrong.
They are meant to be customizable Kinda like WinMo... you can set an action for the left and the right button.
Too bad the cube transition isnt as fluent on this movie....
When this is released I'm assuming it will be a standalone home replacement, but will you have anyplans to release a replacement for the standard launcher? I hate using home replacements because it invariably seems that I end up with 2 launchers in memory, which is why I prefer the replacement version of the Advanced laucher currently. But man was that eye candy sweet.
Its a complete new launcher, using a different datamodel etc ( only some really basic code is used from the original launcher ), so it cant replace the original launcher.
It will be a paid release on the market ( maybe ill make a lite release for free, but i dont know in what form yet ) so that it will be easier to update and I can make sure I can keep supporting it ( It has taken me hundreds of hours already to get to this stage and I want to make sure it keeps getting better ).
Ive also spend a lot of time to make sure it uses as little memory as possible using various caching models.
so when do you think it will be released
It kinda depends on the free time I have... Im now at 70%~75% of what I want done now, but ideas keep evolving and I dont want to release too soon.
Most stuff ive done now is setup a good framework, which makes it very extendible and customizable.
Last thing ive done is create a transition framework so you can choose what sliding transition you want. The cube transition is one of the included transitions, but also the normal one and ive created stretch/squeeze kind transition.
Besides that the app drawer will completely change... better yet... The app drawer will just be one part of the actual drawer/menu.
do you think you can make the launcher like the t-mobile pulse where when you press the menu button you can zoom out and look at all your screens and then select one?
That idea is one i have on my todo lists... but it will not be the menu button but a up/down gesture.
looks great man!
Keep up the good work.
that's sick, i can't wait to try it out!
let me know if you need any beta testers! looks sick!
Looking really good, buddy. Nice work on getting the wallpaper issue worked out.
Looks awesome! I will DEFINITELY buy this one!
Love your work as always. Great job on this. The video does make my inner graphic designer giddy. How are the theme-ing prospect on your app? Is there framework for customizable images? Or is that even on the horizon? I'd love to use it but of course as with my themes, I'd be itching to customize it to match.
Can't wait to try it out. If you need extra beta testers or graphics help, I'm always glad to help out.
id be another guinea pig for this if it comes in an apk or something not extremely technical to install.
on the cube, would it be possible to roll it vertically? 4 screens is cool, i can live with that...but my dxtop ghost black theme has up/dwn/L+R, without that it feels too i-phoney for my taste
Thanks for all the nice comments...
At the moment I already have one beta-tester and for now ( as its still in early development user-wise ) thats enough, because there isnt much too really test yet.
@Prash:
Im still working out the theming aspect. I want it to be as customizable as can be, but also want it to be super easy to theme. Im thinking about an xml-based skin.. I have never looked into the other launchers theming, but if you have any suggestions / ideas just shoot me a pm.
Awesome! Looks like Beryl in Linux
Looks really really nice! Good work!

You can use 1.2, thats designed for that goals
Hi Fireslave, that looks awesome. It is good that you can decide what Tiles you want to include.
Hi Fireslave,
I'd love to help you test this newest development version. I have a HTC HD2 and, as you know from your past themes, some experience in modifying the xml code.
PM me if you'd like me to help
Casey
I also would like to help out with this. I have some experience with xml and I also beta tested version 1.5 on my diamond500. would be happy to do the same for version 2.0
Looking good!
Looking good Fireslave! I like the ability to move tiles based on preference! Just one little request, how about a lock tile at the main screen? That way we can lock manually when needed, without having to go back to another screen?
looks amazing!!! i'll give it a try for sure.. i wonder how it'll go on my jade..

I would like it where you have the left arrow. In WP7 it takes you to what you have, but that is where you can add the tiles to the home screen. The start menu would then be located at the dock like you have it now. Or right below the left arrow as an invisable image. I could also test for you as well.
very nicely done, looking forward to seeing the code
Lock option
Fireslave,
Right now, I have a shortcut to the locking option of my Imagio (standard lock screen). So, if I am at the main screen and I want to manually lock it (I don't use the 'lock after xx minutes' option), I have to slide over to the shortcuts, and activate it then.
Since I am in the main screen most of the time, a lock icon, or a hidden lock location would be great. And we can choose which lock system we use (S2U2, Fingerprint Lock, etc.)
And I am always up to helping with testing. I am running and HTC Imagio with Verizon, WM6.5 with Manilla 2.5.2012 and WVGA screen. I am using TL 1.1.10 exculsively.
If there is anything I can help with, don't hesitate to ask!

Hi I have an Imagio too, really good device anyway I'll send you the fist beta, but please I need a complete report about it and screenshots if you have problems, and of course don't share it.
TODAY I'LL RELEASE THE BETA 1 FOR PRIVATE BETATESTERS
Available in Google Market...
End December 2010 I released WMD-Weather Lite in the Android Market. This widget is based on the WMD-Weather widget I created earlier for the Windows Mobile UI Androkkid. Since then, I've been working on the full version of this weather app & widget, hoping to release it soon as a paid version. This one will extend the lite version, and combine ideas from two other Androkkid widgets I created: WMD-Clock and WMD-WorldClock.
The application features a weather application, showing the current conditions (weather icon, temp, short text, status icons), a 6-day forecast and details when a weather icon is clicked (see images below), including a radar image. Where available (US), the UV index and pollen information/air quality are available as well for today's details.
Multiple locations are supported, as well as 'My location' which is modified when you move, and just about any location on the planet can be added. By swiping left or right, the next location's info is displayed. When the current location is known (via GPS or network), it will be proposed when adding a location.
The application can be set to update automatically.
Please see my site to get the latest information on features (this post is not updated frequently).
Lanuages supported: English, Dutch, German, French, Norwegian, Hungarian
Currently, the application comes with 3 widgets:
Simple weather widget (2x1)
- shows the location,
- the current weather icon
- current temperature and real feel temperature
- next day forecast icon, min/max temperature
- optional background (choice of backgrounds)
- time last updated
- clicking on the widget will launch the app with the widget's location
Weather/Clock widget (4x1)
- the simple weather widget, combined with
- a clock, optionally showing the location's local time
- optionally, the next alarm
- optionally, the current date
- optional backgrounds (choice of backgrounds)
- choice of 5 clock digit styles
- optionally display the hour leading 0 (e.g. 01:00 instead of 1:00)
- optionally select an application to launch when the clock's digits are clicked
Advanced Weather/Clock widget (4x2)
- the Weather/Clock widget, combined with
- an additional row with forecasts for the main widget location and/or current weather info for other locations (including the location's time)
By using the location's time, the clock widget can be used to create a weather/world clock by adding multiple locations with their time to your Android home app (see the images below for an example).
Currently in development for the next version:
- downloadable digit styles and backgrounds
- reworked internals
- more languages: Spanish & Portuguese
Wish list:
- widgets functioning on all devices
- additional weather widget(s)
- screen to screen animation
- slide from day to day in the details screen
All resolutions should be supported, allthough for 320x200 devices, scrolling is required to see all information. And, depending on the screen's density and the launcher used, the widgets may not display correctly. Try out the lite version to verify everything is displayed correctly.
PS: the application is tested on small screen/low dpi resolutions via the emulator, for which the results are correct. However, on the HTC Wildfire the widgets are not rendered fully...
WMD-Weather contains more information, screenshots, version info and the barcode to install the application. The link and barcode for WMD-Weather Lite can be found there as well.
Any feedback - good or bad, bugs, ... - is appreciated!

Thanks Excepter!
Please let me know if you notice any incorrect behavior (clock stops updating, service no longer running, ...).
I'm also looking for feedback on HTC Sense based devices. The widget size may be incorrect on HTC Sense, but I'm unable to test this (on ADWLauncher, my favorite, it looks good on all resolutions).
If you have other ideas to improve the application's functionalilty, I'll be happy to hear this as well...
Good work! I installed this on a htc hero running aosp 2.2 (no sense). I'll report back in a few days if I have any issues/ideas.
Edit: I just got an "error configuring widget" after I changed some of the preferences. Hmph I should have left it alone. Anyway I have to go to sleep, I'll play with it more tomorrow. I wish I had the skills to put together something like this; time is so hard to come by anymore...
Got it tested today on a HTC Desire with Sense (thanks Wim). No issues there.
However, the widgets on the HTC Wildfire (thanks Kurt) don't show all info and the background doesn't cover the entire widget. Something to work on...
Looking good, Ima try it later.
These look really clean!

Sorry for my somewhat late response.
I've had no issues with connectivity. However, in the lite version's comments there are 2 comments (out of 72) regarding update issues.
The app verifies if there's an internet connection available before launching an update. I've been able to test wifi, edge, hdspa, but not 3G myself.
Hopefully other users can share their experience here, to find out if it's 3G or device related. I'll do some research on this as well.
Nice work! Using this on my HTC Hero, no issues whatsoever.
edge, hdspa, don't work too

Nope... not yet. Small screen devices will be one of the things I'll be focussing on next, cause it's really bugging me. I've already put in quite some time and tried some alternative layouts, but without success. If anyone else has a solution, please let me know.
It's hard to emulate. One thing I noticed lately is, that my widgets actually overlap in the small screen emulator. Which is a first (small) step ahead...
So I ended up buying a htc wildfire to do development work on for small screens.
The htc doesn't handle the small screen in the same way that others (such as the xperia x10 and the samsung galaxy 550) do. And what I found was that whilst the bounding box on my widget looked fone on the xperia and 550, it was stopping short on the wildfire.
Within my layout I had a android:layout_marginBottom="15dip" for the bounding box. Duplicating the layout and putting it in layout-small and removing the marginBottom fixed the problem for the widget on the wildfire, but also left a large space on the other small screens. As I have fewer wildfire users than x10 users this wasn't an option. Yesterday I tested a dirty fix; in the settings/preferences menu I have added in a widget layout option with default and small screen (wildfire) options.
When the user selects the wildfire option the widget will load with a layout that doesn't use marginBottom for the bounding box. And this seems to work. Would be good if I could detect what device the user was using so that this could be done automatically.
Thanks. It seems to be the same issue I'm having with the Wildfire. The emulator did not show the issue, but it does partly overlap 2 (of my) widgets when putting one above the other. I was planning on experimenting with relative layouts. Did you try something like that?

Thanks! Hope you enjoy it. Camera does work and I haven't been able to find any bugs as of yet. I don't have data so maybe someone eelse will be able to confirm all that working. I don't see a reason why it shouldn't though.
Everything works.

Core device properties are pulled from cm. There are a few other features we have pulled from cm but certainly not everything.
Alright cool, I'll give it a shot later today! Thanks for the work!
Installed this a few hours ago. Looks like a nice ROM, pretty stable too. Might be a little worse on battery life than CM7 and MIUI but it's early. Nice work.

Thanks. As always you'll want the rom to settle through at least one full discharge charge to gauge battery. Usually makes a difference =P
might try this, bored at work.
im suprised how small the file size is. 65 megs....cm7 is 85
Definitely looks slick. I will flash tonight and report back tomorrow
This is a very good ROM in my opinion. It's nice to see another AOSP ROM, especially another great one.
i really like the settings menu
I like the ROM, but I can't find where I can use my custom ringtones.
Never mind somehow they were deleted?!?

I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by my good friend scott.hart.bti from the Samsung Infuse 4G. This is a build composed off of the CM10.1 builds that he has added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions came from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with my current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and upcoming wallpapers!
I plan on updating this and adding features on a pretty regular basis, so if you happen to like this, keep checking back.

insane amount of edits/tweaks/fixes to make this build absolutely fly
option to use a fully themable MMS packages. You can access from mms - settings - theme settings
Numerous other options hidding throughout the build
Trouble Alerts/Workarounds:
Status bar/Notification Drawer - There seems to be a bug with the 4.2.2 status bar/notification drawer freezing. It is happening on numerous phones at random and there is not a fix available yet. Workaround - Numerous ways to workaround this issue, but easiest in my opinion is to go to settings - system settings - PIE - Enable/Disable PIE. This restarts systemUI and unfreezes the status bar.
PIE - PIE seems to be functioning good for the most part, but there is one bug i have noticed. When you first bring the phone out of sleep and unlock it and try to use PIE without doing anything else, it does not show the PIE image until you change a screen. So basically you have to do something first and then it will work fine. Workaround - Settings - Lockscreen - custom lockscreen background - Select any options... it can be Color, transparent, or custom image. As soon as you select one of those options, PIE works perfectly.

So you're interested in Building/Porting for another device?! Follow this guide! **Please make sure to give proper credits and use the layout I have in the first post.** - If you need assistance, please send me a PM, do NOT post questions in this thread. Scott may open a general porting/building thread in another section depending on how this goes. You must have some general experience/knowledge in this area to complete this. Building from Linux platforms; In particular Ubuntu 10.04(I personally use Linux Mint 14)
Setup to build - This section can be skipped if you've ever built anything before. This is for first time build setup.
1. From your root terminal location, type the following: sudo apt-get install curl git-core gnupg flex bison gperf libsdl1.2-dev libesd0-dev libwxgtk2.6-dev squashfs-tools build-essential zip curl libncurses5-dev zlib1g-dev sun-java6-jdk pngcrush schedtool g++-multilib lib32z1-dev lib32ncurses5-dev lib32readline5-dev gcc-4.3-multilib g++-4.3-multilib
2. Type: mkdir ~/bin
3. Type: PATH=~/bin:$PATH
4. Type: curl https://dl-ssl.google.com/dl/googlesource/git-repo/repo > ~/bin/repo
5. Type: chmod a+x ~/bin/repo
From terminal
1. type 'cd'. This will bring you to your root folder.
2. type 'mkdir beanstalk'. This will create a folder named beanstalk.
3. type 'cd beanstalk'. This will take you to the beanstalk directory created from previous step
4. type 'repo init -u git://github.com/scotthartbti/android.git -b cm-10.1'. This will setup the folders to be synced.
5. type 'repo sync'. This will sync the folders to your beanstalk directory. Note - This will take some time depending on internet connection. Be patient!
6. After the repo sync finally finishes, all you need to do is add your device, kernel, vendor specific files for the device you are building for. (You must know what these are, dont bother asking me if your not sure.)
7. Make sure all your device specific files are setup as if you were going to build for CM.
8. Outside of terminal, navigate to beanstalk/vendor/cm. Double click on the get-prebuilts file and select run in terminal. This will fetch necessary files needed to build and place them where they need to be.
9. Type '. build/envsetup.sh'
10. Type lunch
11. Enter your device name(should be listed if it's supported by cm) Ex. cm-i9300-userdebug
12. Type ' make -j4 bacon
13. Previous step will start building beanstalk for your device. The process takes anywhere from 1 - 3 hours depending on your computer.
14. Once completed, it will say package complete and you will have a beanstalk named zip file in your out folder.
This is a nice work

Good Job
Hi team
I do not know how it did, but this rom is fast as lightning.
Additionally, it contains all the options AOSP, with Helly bean-build.prop tweaks, dark theme from Slim etc.
Love the scroller option
For a long time I wanted all these functions together in a single ROM.
Will report some more , just made a flash and some setups
Edit:

I like that girl that you have on the wallpaper
Going to give this a spin. What gapps are being used on this rom? No mention in OP so im assuming the regular 4.2.2 gapps. Curious to also know if the real dark slim gapps would work? Hell i'll just test them. Lol! Good work Bro! Cheers!

Yes any 4.2.2 gapps will do. I'll get some uploaded soon. I'd avoid the Dark slim gapps..they have the framework mods applied to them, when TRDS is included in the ROM that already does just that. So you'd be turning on TRDS when it's already enabled on your gapps..things might get screwy, but up to you if you decide to flash those.

Tweaks options is really amazing..
EDIT: 1 request. Can expanded destop mode hidebthe status bar in lockscreen as well? Please...
