Saw fattire's work on github yesterday. I know the CM team doesn't do anything half-ass so this should be a decent build.
I saw that commit this morning! Very excited.
Here is Kmobs tweet a few hours ago:
Nook color #cm7. Yes for the love of God yes. http://twitpic.com/40yxcu Great job Fattire and company.
phiremod's rom has me really close to buying an NC, but this would cause me to leave work early and grab one
I see dedicated back and menu buttons on the top. Yes. No search though. Can't wait. 8 )
Nook Color via Xda App
Looks like the NookColor might also be getting a name change to Encore. Its in the screen shot and also in the github commits.
Go look over in the Recovery EXT4 thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=959240, there's links to download it, but I haventy tried anything, as I'm at work, and dammit, my uSD reader is sitting on the counter @ home.

Man I love the CM guys
Running smooth for me as well soooo stoked about this...now if we can just get an oc kernel I'm not used to 800mhz anymore...can't wait to see how cm7 runs at 1.1ghz
Swyped from a CM7 EVO using the Xda app
how do i actually install this?! :/ i'm on rooted 1.1 stock atm...
My Win7 machine stopped recognizing the NC, so I lost ADB access. Do I need a separate set of drivers, or should the hacked ones from here still work?
[Edit:] Nevermind. Somehow the PID of NC has changed from 002 to 003. Just had to change the relevant lines in android_winusb.inf of the driver installation package, and I'm back in business.

Does not for me, endless reboots. Modaco 2.9
Bugger, uploaded the wrong file really sorry
I've sorted it now with the correct file, again I'm really sorry.
hm looks good, i think you should get your files sorted see attachment, the bottom arc... i hope this was an accident, i would like to have it solid, but love the black.
edit: while you're at it, a transparent background for the notifications would be sleek too...
no thats how i like my arc, I will knock something up in the week

ok, no problem, i just wondered because the screenshots show the solid arc...
I like the solid arc also and 1 thing that you missed i guess you must have is the notification windows, when you pull it down it's no transparecy :/
Great theme anyway, thx alot!
big thanks ratcom you have very good intentions
Question
Is it possible to install this on a stock rooted 2.73.405.66 rom, or is it MoDaCo roms only?
Just tried, and it works great with stock roms.
This theme looks good. There doesnt seem to be much that has changed though? or am i missing something? Still nice though
Have this on MCR 3.0 the only problem is the digital clock in the right hand corner is black so hard to make out.
It worked great for me on MCR 3.0, no problem with the clock ^^
I have uploaded here in this forum the original theme. Install this and than install this theme here in Post again. Then your clock on the right side must be white again.
It seems, that your last theme on your hero was a theme with a white top bar, isn't it?

EDIT: Clock fixed.
Since updating to modaco 3.0, whenever I try to install this theme it throws me into a infinite boot cycle. 3 times I've had to restore now. Any idea on what might be causing this problem?
The Beta Team is now closed. I will re-open it when b2 is ready to go live.
My roms been in the pre alpha stages for the past few weeks, ive had a few people testing it all out for me. Now im looking to get a little more feedback. The rom is based off Nils Buisness sense, as that was the closest i could find to stock. there arent any "bugs", because its straight stock based.
What makes this rom special you may ask...
Well, at the moment not a whole lot. its got a pretty unique theme that im hand making, one image at a time, but as of now thats about it. Once the theme is at the level i want it to be, im going to get to work on the rest of the hard dev content. Some of you may remeber that i was working on porting the power wideget in the notification bar over to incredible framework, well thats one of the things you will see in the future.
Im also working on my java skills, and have a pretty bare bones app created that goes hand in hand with the rom. as of now, thats still in the pretty early beta stages, but thats to Myn, i have been able to code in the VERY basic functions.
This also uses a modified-with more modifications to come-version of Myns Rosie. That means his app, Rosie Settings, which enables remapping of the right and left rosie buttons on the fly. This is the only rom running incredible framework that has this feature.
Few of the other features
-working hulu with no demon voices
-5 column app drawer
-smooth sync icons
-working wifi tether
-black-ish market **work in progress**
-gingerbread youtube release
-droid x ringtones
-animations
-Nameless Helper App

It gets annoying when they turn off on their own after ~5 seconds, and makes it hard at night to hit the right key, like Back or Home. I just want those 4 bottom soft keys to stay on the entire time the screen is on, and go off when it is Locked.

That only has the lights stay on for 3 (or 10 or 15, don't know what he set the limit to) seconds, This keeps them on for the entire time the screen is on. A little different.

he? lol.
i got permission from guardian bob and added keep the lights on in the first version of andromeda as a substitute for the lights problem. for the next version of andromeda WE decided to take a more *stock* approach and include a 15 second delay on it (stock is only 3).....
if you want it, download from the market....easy as pie.

I started thinking that our NCs that have been upgraded with Froyo, CM7 or HC really need a new name:
"What's that you've got there?"
"Why, that's my NookColor that's been rooted and upgraded with Froyo and over-clocked to 1.1GHz"
will just cause most peoples eyes to glaze over.
A few obvious possibilities are NookPad, NookTab, NookSlab, NookSlate, NookyPad (although that sounds like something from a 70s "art" film ).
Suggestions?
"Encore". That is the code name that Barnes and Noble originally gave it, and the code name that CM gave it as well.

errr... I ll just throw my input in because I like the idea of a specialized name for our enhanced tablets, not so much that I stand by my suggestions ...
Although it would almost sound the same I like the idea of Newk Color because it says "new", fresh, and up to date, which is uniquely appropriate considering the Nook had honeycomb before anything else. Or maybe the Newk Encore, or just Nook Encore. I think Encore alone might not clearly reflect on the work of the modding community in the minds of most people. Just my 2 ¢

Speaking as a gay man myself, I don't think the iPad is necessarily any gayer than other tablets. I mean, sure, you can get Grindr for the iPad, but now it's available for Android too. And the Nook Color is pretty good at rendering rainbows, bright pink objects, sequins, tassles and pr0n.

Haha, this theme is fantastic. It made everything go transparent, LITERALLY everything xD.
After I applied the theme, everything went transparent. I could feel the vibrations of various functions (such as the launcher, the end-button being held and so on) though nothing appeared on the screen. But everything was working.
I rebooted (Holding End and then touching on my guess ), but then I fell into a bootloop. And luckily, I didn't have a backup. So it's time for a new ROM.
I wish it had worked for me, it's a nice theme. (I was on tytung ICS 2.8)
