I have been trying with no luck to find the directory of all the wallpapers for the custom roms I have downloaded for my captivate. I have tried about 10 new roms and I really wanted to try and get a collection of the wallpapers that come with each one... Has anyone done this already that could share a zip or rar of them? Thanks in advance! btw I settled on paragon 5.
p.s. I especially like the "stone like" one from Assonance.

This has been asked a quite a few times in the past. They are in ADWLauncher.apk, extract and they are there in /res/drawable-hdpi/.

check the thread where the theme was downloaded.
there are a million issues when applying themes to darkys ROMs. i have experienced this many times.
the problem is the ROM takes up to much space under /system / data ( i think ) and you have to remove certain things from that folder in order for the theme to successfully apply itself.
Some work 1st time, some dont work at all.

Is that so? What would be the best ROM for applying themes if that's the case? All I read and hear is Darky's ROM this Darky's ROM that so I went for that instead.
I think I found the problem - I didn't have CWM installed... We'll see how it goes.

All you hear is darky rom this darky rom that is not from this forum . Its just one of many .Read the posts in development section for a flavour of roms .

I've had to reinstall 2.3.3 using ODIN four times now... What do you two suggest I do when it comes to choosing roms? I'm sick of having to reinstall every time I get the bootloop cause the installation of a theme went wrong.

Stop flashing the theme, or try another rom.

I don't try the same theme every single time, there's only one theme I've been able to flash and it was ugly as shet.

Is your current ROM 'De-odexed' Meaning, is your ROM a custom ROM or a stock ROM

I've decided to reinstall Darky's ROM. I just read somewhere that it may be in the bootloop cause of the bootanimation.zip or something and that if I delete that it'll get out of the bootloop? I got out of the thread, I forget where it is

i have a question about applying a custom theme within a custom rom. Let's say i cooked a rom with the 1.6 kitchen and let it all default, just a minimalized rom.
Now when i cook a theme with the UOT kitchen and flash it through recovery, all goes well.
But i don't want to flash it after flashing the rom. I want to implement it in to the rom, so just one flash to get my phone look nice.
When i put the framework-res.apk in my extracted rom folder in /system/framework i only get bootloops after flashing.
any ideas ?
normally that should work with no problems ...
i used to do that with my themes for samsung galaxy spica, always worked well
just exchange framework-res.apk in your rom with your themed one ...
but i haven´t tried on optimus 2x yet ...

Strange... i havn't got UOT kitchen to work on my O2x.
Getting errors when i try to flash the *.zip.
Never had any problems before when i made frameworks for my other phones; Desire, Wildfire, SGS, etc..
Anything i have missed?

you have to exchange update-binary from uot kitchen with this one :

I'm new to this forum and I'm still new to Android
I have tried a lot of modded ROM in my galaxy s but the luck of full arabic support is important to me, recently the new Firmware finaly come with Jpjv6 2.3.3, I have installed root and lagfix of JVO and it's work like a charm but modes like touchwiz 4 and tv animation didn't work on the JV6 I'm stuck in rebooting
is it hard to convert the modes from one to another version?
I would do it by my self but with some help from you guys
Just flash a custom ROM with Arabic support. There are quite a few in the development section...

You'll find several TW4 mod threads in development section. Each have their own specific instructions. Just search for the same and you'll find it! You should find CRT off animation as well...
I have tried the ICS theme that's posted on here but I don't really like it.. Does anyone know any good themes?
What are you looking for?
If you to the Desire HD thread here you can normally flash those on these our devices. But be careful and do a back up first as flashing a zip may cause some FC's.
Going for RCMix based ones is normally a good idea.
