I cant install any themes with the new cyanogen mod, I just keep getting fc of the core. Any one got the same problems?
Are you going back to stock cyan before you flash another theme?
or u tryin to use the 2.0 theme..cuz i get the something when i do the 2.0 themes
I am running the 2.0 v0.5.1 with no issues

Ya i get this on rotate. I printed a log and it shows low mem crash of acore. This only hapoens when any theme is applied. Plus it only did once on g1 but ion every time.
I got it using 2.0 and enoch. I also got the acore fc during rotate and also when I go back to main screen from sms or anything sometimes but thats on stock cyanogen.
I have flashed from stock to theme and always from stock to theme.

1 In CyanogenMod Settings/User interface/Tweaks extras and reset to default if not already set.
2 Reboot your device into Recovery and wipe delvik cache and Flash the required Zip for your Rom
3 After Flash go into Settings/CyanogenMod settings/User interface/Tweaks extras/Select a theme. And choose gingerbread, That will change the status bar font to white

The dock is for launcher pro, adw ex you can't use custom dock bar's

I can't get the status bar to be all black. It starts white and when I change it through cyanogenmod settings it's got the gradient.

Changing the settings in cynaogenmod in the user interface tweaks is just to change the color of the text in your status bar such as your clock and stuff. Flashing the .zip changes the status bar. If it didn't work try going into your settings user interface and reset defaults before flashing

The only problem I noticed so far is the same as others are having. The sub-menus are black letters on a black background. Otherwise looking good.

Yeah i just noticed it too, like going to maps open menu and click more the 2nd menu has black letters. I think i know how to fix this and ill give it a shot when i have the spare time

So far all looks good with Gingerbread, however the dock, apps zip file says " Installation aborted when trying to flash??

That's because its not a zip to flash. Im pretty sure its for launcher pro or something like it

Kaosfroyo v37 is still runnning cm6.1 , This theme was compiled for CM6.2 roms, update to kaosfroyo v39 and it will work
i caught a bootloop on tazzfroyo v24, i have krispysgengerbread theme and it applyied as a metamorph file except the menu thats for cm6.1,not sure why ,i wiped dalvik and had no luck flashing this version, just an fyi,not sure if anyone had better better luck flashing this on tazz v24.

Im seeing alot of people saying themes are not working on tazz froyo Themes that make changes to the menu, And when i tried to use darkhorse or elegant steel on tazz it bootloops when aplying the menu. So i think there is somthing with the .xml files thats different than the rest of the froyo roms for eris

I have not tested it out on Tazz, but first guess is that the menu would have to be compiled specifically for that rom, If what skyllos said is true
Except for the 2nd menu thing, it looks and works great on my Eris running KFv39. Thanks!

Just a heads up:
If you install any theme for 2.2 that involves any changes to the framework, settings, systemUI, or launcher, you are erasing the changes made in 2.2.1 and basically going back to 2.2. If there is an original theme, I am willing to make a 2.2.1 port, if I get the permission to do so.
Just link me to the original theme and I will see what I can do.

I've tried posting this in the developers section but not had a reply.
With version 22 I installed the most up to date version of swype with the dragon speech.
Since updating to v23 it has this massive keyboard that takes up half of the screen! When I download the app it says it can't install because of the pre-installed version.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated,

I've tried uninstalling the original version with titanium and then installing swype installer.
It presents me with two options Swype Beta Tablet and Swype Beta japanese tablet.
When I install the first one it comes up with Application not installed!
So now i'm stuck with no swype...
Just flashed to gummy 4.0.4 i cannot find swype and I hate all the similar keyboards from the play market. any ideas as to get the "stock" swype on ICS?
I had to sign up for the beta and download it that way.
