Hi guys,
I've tried posting this in the developers section but not had a reply.
With version 22 I installed the most up to date version of swype with the dragon speech.
Since updating to v23 it has this massive keyboard that takes up half of the screen! When I download the app it says it can't install because of the pre-installed version.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated,
Andy
I've tried uninstalling the original version with titanium and then installing swype installer.
It presents me with two options Swype Beta Tablet and Swype Beta japanese tablet.
When I install the first one it comes up with Application not installed!
So now i'm stuck with no swype...

Hi Guys!
So I recently figured out how to install the CM Nightlys after I was reassured I wouldnt delete my settings. That was awesome because I can feel an improvement in responsiveness.
I also installed the Googleapps.zip and tried the new [Morph] for Cyan Jog dial.
So I have a couple of questions.
- Can I use Metamorph to install things other than [Morph]'s that are in the Nexus one Themes and Apps section?
- I tried to use ROM Manager to install nightly for the first time, but it seems redundant in that all it does is reboot into recovery..and i have to install from zip there, which i could have gotten to with just a reboot
Am I doing something wrong?
And thank you for your advice with Metamorph.
cheers

Does anyone have the file for the new update? I installed CM6.1 and the market doesn't seem to update to the new market. Thanks.
The only fully compatible Android Market for CM6.1 would be what you get with the Google Apps package off the CM website.

Last I heard, there were some issues with CM6.1 and the new (green) Android Market app, but it's been close to a month since I last used my Hero.
Your best bet would be to wait for someone to roll a new Google Apps zip file for CM6.1.
Go to the theme section for Darkhorse its posted there
Thanks for the replies. I got it installed.
so im using the latest cyanogen beta rom.
two things.
the mms that comes with it, although it does have a black theme option, ALWAYS goes back to white after you restart. any themed apk's i can use?
and how exactly do i install the latest version of swype on my phone? im in the swype beta and installed it that way but when i used to use bionix it would automatically install a more updated version of swype.

You have to register, download an installer, then install from their installer app, but it works.
Thanks!
Hi all,
I recently flashed cm7 rc 2 for my phone previously running stock GB.
While cm7 is great, it lacks support for ligatures and does not have fonts for many non-English languages unlike LG stock.
The font problem I have solved by replacing DroidSansFallsback.ttf in /system/fonts but so far I am unable to get ligatures working so the characters (in my case in Bengali script) are looking weird.
I tried restoring using Titanium Backup the stock LG Fonts app (no difference) and some fonts service called com.jungle.apps.service (TB does not successfully restore that - keeps trying to restore but fails).
Any ideas?
Kindly note: I am not looking for "Go back to stock/Use Opera mini" as responses. Thanks.
Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
