Hey Fellas,
I apologize if this has been asked before, but I did numerous searches and couldn't find nada.
I just switched to this from a KA7 2.2 Vibrant and I am still trying to figure this phone out. Is there a way to set the default camcorder resolution to 720p? Its annoying to have to change it in the settings every time I exit the camera. I appreciate the help.

The camera takes pretty decent pictures. However when I record video its unwatchable. The audio is fine, but all I am looking at is a grey screen. I have changed from it saving to the storage card to it saving to the tilt. Same problem both times. Any help with this would be most appreciated.
Did you search the forums at all?
seriously, is that the canned response to everything? Yes Ive used the search and its useless
Have you tried the updated HTC Camera software? You can get it here.
Hope this helps - Adam
Hello
I have had my Att tilt version Kaiser with the single camera for two weeks now. The original flash was very buggy so I reset it back to the factory settings. Most problems have been solved and I have tweeked it and learned to rewrite the registry and it does most of what I want now, all but one thing, my camera will not record video.
In some settings my camera will record, but in play back there is no video, only audio. In other settings the video starts and then stops a few seconds later. in both cases the video is unplayable.
I had tried another camera program in the previous setup, but it didn't fix the video problem. I had hoped the reset would fix this issue, but it did not.
Does anyone else have this problem and is there a fix for this?
Ps.
I apologize in advance if I have overlooked a thread addressing this.

Anyone got ay ideas how I could get my camera working, Im now not sure if its something I have done or if the camera has failed.
Oh been looking round for a diagnostic menu where I could test phone functions etc
Thanks in advance
it might be an issue with the camera app, try another app that uses the camera or a different radio. most if not all camera issues come from a bad radio on the phone
hmm, thats a thought will try barcode scanner or something, can you recomennd a good radio the one im using now is ota-radio-2_22_19_26I.zip
edit: all camera apps from market force close when i start them
Ok still no joy and also noticed gallery does not work either same black screen.
Someone must have had this before

So I "recorded" my 500 miles trip in my car with the "time lapse" mode in the ICS camera. When I arrived home and tap the stop button, the camera did not show the usual "processing" thing and my video wasn't saved. Is there any way to at least recover the frames or something?
Thanks!
PS: running SlimICS on SGS I9000.
hello?
Hi all.
So when I first bought the phone, when I was recording and zooming in the cameras changed to the better quality one x10 zoom. However since few months it does not change at all, stays the same. I was thinking with emui 10 it will get fixed but it didn't.
How can fix this issue?

For anyone having similar issue i found solution. Empty your camera app cache, empty data and force stop the app then reopen (i think cache is the main problem) but now it all works!
Glad you got it sorted.
And thanks for posting your solution - too often people can't be bothered.
