This is that stock framework with the mod.
In the Zip I put in the .xml (de-compiled) for Rom and Theme builders.
Compiled framework-res.apk with the xmls in.
The Stock EB13 Framework
(this is for both 125 and 205 images.)
If your looking for mods with a option of Batt images, I will be updating my pages with in a day or so... Will have about 20 different options.

Hmm, for some reason I only get 10% (maybe higher) increments with the 205 image .apk in the zip
I too only get like 20% increments...
These are not working for me either.
The framework-res included dont have the updated XML files for the battery mod.
EDIT: Got it working.
Attached is a working framework-res (205 image version)
Sorry, I fixed it.
This may be a dump question but where do the xml files go?

The included XML files are de-compiled. I guess they are for ROM builders. Don't try and use them unless you know how to compile them.
If you are a regular user ingnore them, just use put the framework-res.apk in the right place and you should be good to go.
I used winrar and placed my own images over he included ones to make my own custom version and never had to mess with the xml files.

So, I'm just checking to see if I understand this. If I take one of your dk28 deodex battery mods, open up the zip, replace the framework apk with your new framework apk, and install it with clockwork 3.0.0.6, that'll work?
edit: Yeah, that didn't work. Nothing crashed, but nothing changed, either. Hmm.
Posting new version of the android man battery icon. Works with CWM and CWM3. 10000% based off of stock.
I would use one of those, but I've got CWM3, and it doesn't like those style of script, I think.
My own attempts failed, so I guess I'll wait a couple days and see if anyone cooks anything up.

Make sure you are trying the right version. I use an older version that uses like thm extensions or something.
To the post above, MM does work as I have used it many many times and use it now for rotary lock. But I do use an old version as stated. Not the newer and that seems to do the job.

Droidkevlar is correct. Metamorph updated and now requires the themes to include an xml file instead of the old thm file. Your zip files are probably formatted for the old program. I did run across a thread that linked to a program that updates them. They are also pretty easy to update manually. There was a video on YouTube on how to make the new xml file. Sorry, but I do not have any links atm.

Since I am done watching Lost series finale, I can post the link for the old MM apk. This is what I used. Hope it works out for you.

If it doesnt, I can always upload the apk later when I have time. Now its time for bed time before work. Just let me know.

EDIT: Because the framework-res.apk is different on the latest Cognition v2.3b1+ (naturally since it's a different Captivate Froyo version), I created a new framework-res.apk for those. It's attached here. I will probably only keep the oldest and newest that I have available here. The first is for Cog 2.2B9 and the second is for Cog2.3B4.

Essentially yes. Because I'm not too familiar with ADB, I used Root Explorer. This is the exact process I used.
I first ransferred meter-framework-res.apk to my SDCard on the phone. Then opened Root Explorer on the phone and navigated to sdcard. I copied meter-framework-res.apk to /system/framework folder. I then renamed the original framework-res.apk to framework-res.apk.old. Then renamed meter-framework-res.apk to framework-res.apk. Then finally rebooted.

This is an APK I've had in my apps folder for quite sometime now. I don't remember where I got it or even if I made it my self, but it works like a charm. It appears as a new font in your font selection window so you can still use the default one if you don't like the Armani one. I like APKs way more than recovery .zips because you don't have to restart your phone to use them

There was a screenshot I posted a few pages up, but here's a comparison; stock Android on the left, Armani on the right:
This mod is meant for people like me, who generally like the stability of the stock rom, but want a better battery meter and the CRT off animation. It may break custom roms and will not work on de-odexed roms.
I just made my first mod. I used UOT kitchen, which is a really cool website to cookup minor mods for most roms. You folks probably knew about it forever, I just discovered it. All hail the creators of this website!
http://uot.dakra.lt/
Anyway, this mod was based off of the framework and system file extracted from my phone which is running:
Stock EI22, odexed with mkasick's kernel and CRT Off Mod Custom and non EI22 roms may not like this mod.
It also includes the CRT-OFF mod that was posted by Tortel1210 (I had that installed when I did the mod.)
I don't know if the kernel version will matter or if it works on any other roms, all I know is it works on my phone.
Flash it using CWM 3.x, I strongly suggest making a backup in CWM (nandroid) before flashing this, just because it works on my phone doesn't mean that it won't cause your phone to burst into flames

You're welcome.
Here's how I made this mod. Your steps will be different depending on the mod you do.
Go To: http://uot.dakra.lt, click on Kitchen. Click on Battery (or whatever mod you are doing), select Use this mod. This brings up a list of possible styles and options. Pick what you want. Click "Generate Preview" if you want to see what it will look like. Continue along with Popup, Lockscreen, or any other options you want to modify. You only have to go into the options you actually want to use.
Click on File Upload. Under update-binary, Select "Type Galaxy"
Where it says "Select your rom from kitchen's list, or upload your own files" Select System files.
Below you will see boxes to upload your framework , twframework-res and SystemUI files.
Go to Summay screen. Click "Submit Work to kitchen"
Let's see, how does it go now....
????
Profit.
Anyway, that's the best I can remember. There is a howto section on the UOT page, and the xda thread for it is at:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=990829
I take no credit for this great tool. I'm barely smart enough to use it, let alone write something like that. The sigs at the bottom of the website are:

These folks are geniuses.

DO NOT select TW launcher as the default launcher, or you will be stuck on an infinite loop of FCs.

Didn't want to work for stock ICS on an i9023 with GLaDOS 2.3 kernel. Wallpaper changed and settings FC each time i try to open it, with no widget in sight (flashed twice, same result). Just thought i'd let others know and a nandroid is always a good idea.
Settings.apk is attached, but would this have anything to do with it since i'm on stock? Looks great though, i'm hoping i can get it working.

Thanks for posting your settings.apk. I'll get it done and posted back up for you.

Here you go
Should work unless your odexed, but I don't think the stock ROM is...
Works perfectly denverg, good work (and a stupidly quick reply ). Many thanks.
One question though before i attempt out of boredom, would replacing the default settings.apk in /system/app be enough to replace it (back to default or to your transparent one)?

Yep. The only thing I changed was the images for the widget in settings.apk. So, if you replace what you flashed with the stock Settings.apk, it will go back to normal. In fact, just going into my ZIP file: system/app folder and deleting the Settings.apk and then replacing with your original Settings.apk will allow you to use the ZIP to flash back over the top.
I hope that made sense
Made perfect sense, cheers. Keep up the good work
