The same problem often comes to me as well before some time. But I once I send my phone to service center and now it is again good.
Try a new ROM! For me the best is the last ROM Kimera Revolution!

Hello,
I've been following this forum for several months now and I've been studying how to flash and what can possibly go wrong and I now just about feel comfortable with trying it myself.
I really want to try Ausdim and Eliasweb's ROMs but I still have one question...
Quite a while ago I downloaded a file called "htcp3600-NWW_France_Setup" which should see to my network settings if I understood correctly but the thing is I quite often go to Spain and seeing as I have the SFR World option my service provider hands control over to one of their partner networks in Spain and the same happens when I go to England.
With a cooked ROM is this still possible or would I have to file some other files to allow me to use my phone in other countries??
Thank you very much for your help.
Doesn't anybody know??? Please... A little help will be greatly appreciated.
It's the same.
Bye.
theres a software called setup operator ! do a search for that it'll sort your problem out, i think!
HTC connection setup thats it ! it got loads a countries and providers
Thanks for the answers
I just had a look at Ausdim's V3 Full and I see the program you said (HTC Connection Setup) is already integrated so it looks like everything will run smoothly
Hi guys!
First, I would like to thank you all for your work. This forum is really awesome, I like a lot even if I am just a lurker
I have a very nasty issue with my new unbranded Tytn II. Sometimes (well, quite often..let's say twice a day), the phone module doesn't work anymore; I get a message as the signal was missing or too low. There is NO WAY to make a call in this situation; i tried to close every programs, to switch off the phone, but nothing. If I try to call myself, the phone rings and after it everything is ok. Otherwise, I need to perform a soft reset to let my phone work again.
Any idea?
Tytn II unbranded
Original ROM
Radio 1.27.12.32
I hope my english is understandable
Thanks
Christian

Good luck and welcome!
Thanks lot. I didn't expect so quick reply
Anyway I guess my warranty will be voided doing this upgrade..I will think about it
Thanks
Christian
I don't know about warranties , if it voids it u can always give ur SP a call to see what are your options.
Remember, u can also roll-back to the previous Radio Versions. U have two options here, test by yourself and find out which is the best ROM/RADIO for ur phone or complain about it with your service provider (SP) and prolly get a new phone (if still available) or waste time/gas/money and still have the problem.
I would go first trying to find a solution myself (thats me), but if you don't feel so sure about it, call ur SP
Best of luck!

Over the last week or so my htc has been driving me nuts!
Calls just dont come through to me. It seems to be going straight to my mailbox and then Text messages are also delayed.
I cant make calls as it drops it before it even connects with the other party.
However, when I soft reset it works fine to just after the 1st call I make.
I dont want to hand it in for repairs, that saying if I can fix it myself with the help of Xda-developers.
Can anybody help me?
Have you tried different radios?
what you mean radio?

here is my info
ROM version : 1.56.405.5
RoM date : 08.28.07

Unlike others who flame people for not reading or searching I will not because you have stated you searched. The solution maybe simple... Do you keep an open data connection at all times? If so that maybe an issue, try ending the data call when youre not in use and see if that helps. Ive noticed with my tilt that if I keep the data connection always open my SMS will be delayed and won't recieve all my calls.

If i seem to have a specific problem, it will take me a long time to find the solution.
so heres to that.
ill rather state my problem, Im sure there are forumites here, who really dont mind helping other people.
Proudpop86.. I think i know what you mean with regards to the open data sessions. Ill fiddle around and try and disable it and see if it works. Thanx for the heads up.
as one of boys said you can get all answers in wiki - but here are some info http://wiki.xda-developers.com/
it seems ur radio is bugged. need an update.
your radio rom is the firmware that makes your phone connected to your network provider http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=KaiserROM_FlashingFAQ
you must know the compatibility of your os rom and your radio read the ultimate thread by alltheway http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Kaiser_Radio
you need to perform a hardspl procedure before u change ur radio http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334679
you will have different results (network strenght, wifi strenght, bt, gps, battery drains) with different radios http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1862232&postcount=1464
if you are on warranty and new to all of these i advice taking ur device to agent and get it updated official (shipped) roms

thank you jahrami
seem to have been my Network type settings
If set on auto the phone drops calls, but if Gsm is selected, its perfect.
I do notice however that .. I only Gprs available now and 3G or Hsdpa is not used as usual.
A bit annoying , but i guess its better then the phone missing calls.
Sounds like you have the dreaded dead 3G radio problem. Forcing to GSM will work, at least for some time. If you want full functionality back, that will require sending the phone in for repair.
Anyway to fix it myself?
not really concerned with warrantee's
If it is what I and many others had, no. Only a mainboard replacement will do.

seem to loose all connectivity as soon as i select wcdma
HI,
First of all I would like to say thank you to all the people of this website which is doing his best to give us day by day new elements to appreciate better and better our phone.
Now this is my problem :
I've currently a kaiser with the diamond L9 rom and the radio 1.71
I've installed on my kaiser TOMTOM 7.45 and since that , I can't ear nothing from the other part when someone is calling me or when I call Someone
Anyway, if I put the speaker on I can ear the oher part and it works also with a headset.
This problem is quite annoying cause I don't want all the people arround me listen to my conversation with the speaker on !
I've tested other roms and also a lot of radios but the problem still remains
I've also tested rom 6.0 with radios 6.0 but without any good results.
I've also tried the audiogain solutions but nothing !
Please can someone give me the solution ??
Thanks in advance

Did either of you change radio versions when you flashed these roms? You should make sure you are using the proper radio for your carrier.
Give your carrier a call and ask them if there is a firmware update or roaming list update you can download. I have cdma so we have PRL updates every so often so our phones know which cell towers to use for the best signal. Good Luck!
