I am looking for a full body skin for my bionic. A case will not work since I will be using the lapdock.
I have checked these sites with no luck.
phantom skinz
skinit
ghost armor
I know skinomi has one but it does not look like it wraps around the sides of the phone. Has anyone used this brand before with any luck?

i LOVE skinomi, use them for all my screen protectors (Best screen protectors FACT haha). As far as skins, they offer great value for getting the back skin combo.
You are correct though, it will not cover the sides though. I have the carbon fiber on the back of my iPad2, it is nice because it is textured..
I think you are better off waiting for skinit for a wrapping skin honestly, it should be any day now they add it
I found this skin and have ordered it. Will let you know how it goes.

My Ghost Armor guy says they should be in by September 16th, 23rd at the latest. He did a custom cut for me to tide me over. They do decent work.
These are the best skins ive ever used. had one on my Droid Incredibe and on my Droid X. Crystal clear and tough as nails. a little pricey but worth it in my opinion.

I just got this skin today and it does wrap the entire phone for the most part. there are very few small parts of the battery door that are exposed after the installation but other than that its coverage is pretty full.
I didn't do a perfect job on it but I got it to a point that I thought it was close enough and stopped playing with it and called it a day.
I am new so I could not leave the link up in your quote, but this is the exact skin that you linked to in your original post.

It's the Skinomi black carbon fiber skin for the Bionic that the you linked to in the first post. I'm just so new that I couldn't leave the link in the quote.
I bought it off Amazon though (it's still sold by Skinomi) but it's only $18.95 there.
As I can't post links yet, you can just go to amazon and search for "skinomi black carbon bionic" (without the quotes). Only one complete match result should come up in the results and that's the one I bought.
Zagg Skins
I am sold on Zagg Skins. Great screen protectors that you install with fine liquid spray and soft squeegee in order to place screen protector exactly where you want it. I have even peeled it off and ran warm water over it six months later and reinstalled it.
They also have there own selection of skins but if you want a custom skin you can use their software to upoad graphics and resize, use transparency, rotate etc.
I beleive their warranty is 90 days, full replacement.

Wow, I really like that one. I looked at your pictures, and then went right to Amazon to order it!
Just an FYI, this is how the skin comes in the package so you can see that it comes with the pieces to cover the edges as well.
Anyone try this with extended battery cover?

The skin itself is custom cut for the regular battery cover. It is not cut for the bigger battery so when you try to install it it's a little small at the "battery bump, and all of the sides and bottom of the battery cover. However, if you are patient, you can work it with some heat and stretch it to the appropriate size.
I did this as a guinea pig as I had an extra skin. I was hoping the difference would only be about as drastic as Droid X2's extended vs standard battery cover at most when I bought the skins blind, but I was wrong.
With that said, I have noted I am not the best at putting these things on. If you have a lot of patience you can probably do a better job than I did if you need to use a standard Skinomi skin on an extended battery cover. This install for the back took me about 45 minutes working at it slowly so it would fit as well as it could.
So it's your judgement call. My install is not the best but it proves that it is possible to make the skin fit the extended battery cover if you are willing to work at it for a while. If not, you can wait for someone to make a skin specially designed for the extended battery cover.
Good luck for those of you who are willing to give it a shot, just be patient and leave your frustrations at the door.

Dude... awesome job!
Awesome job Diocat!
Incidentally, Optishieldz is offering a Carbon Fiber skin designed for the Extended battery cover. It is only $14.95 however it does not cover the sides of the phone, just the back battery cover.

Update:
I received this one and it is an ok skin but not as good as I had hoped. This install is much more complicated vs other skins I have used.
I am ordering the skinomi one to compare.
Just installed the skinomi and I'm very pleased thus far.
Best Skin
The best skin company I have found is SGP. I have the Matte version for my xoom and its great.

Great job installing. Did you try to use skinned phone in Motorola' car dock? Did it still fit?
Thanks!

What does tpu mean?
I have reviewed a nice looking cheap black case which can be found from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1856275
I'm using it now and can vouch for it, only annoying feature is the stand which only works on hard surfaces.

I got mine from ebay.. for $6.95.. Fits perfectly and it looks like I am carrying a small diary along!! It actually adds to the looks! "Google Nexus 7 Tablet Slim Fit Leather Case Cover W. Stand Premium Quality Black"

+1 for the black Nillkin ... it's my TPU case of choice too!
Okay so I won this skin in a Skinomi raffle giveaway so once I received it I decided to give in a try. It looks great not as good as the gunmetal finish but it definitely looks and feels like it's going to protect the phone from scratches but not drops. I still put a case on it sometimes when I go out to make sure that if it falls its protected and it doesn't interfere in any way.
I attached a couple of pictures if you guys are interested. I also have a Skinomi tempered glass on it which is excellent as well. Feels a bit flexible when you first install it but once on its great protection for your screen. And you don't even notice it on the screen. I made a mistake installing it and took it off from the top right corner and now there's a bubble there. I immediately filed for a replacement on their website and got a spare which I'm holding on till I feel I need to change it. Sorry for the lighting it's nighttime here and I don't have the best lighting in the world. Enjoy.
pretty nice, i like it.

I also just installed the carbon skin. I then installed my Supcase over the skin. I was happy to see that I could do that, it also made the case fit a little "snugger" and gave an overall better feel to the case/phone combination.
Hi guys, I'm going to buy a carbon skin for my g4, tired of bulky cases. I already know dbrand, but never buyed anything. Slickwraps is new for me, the price is the same 19$ and it also has side and power button protection, but the price is for complete package (front, rear, side) and I only need rear and maybe side (11$ on dbrand but without side and power button). Someone already tried these skins for his g4?
You have a Dbrand review right in this forum page.

I have used both dbrand and Slickwraps before.
Honestly both are nice but dbrand seemed to always have better aligned cutouts.
Before the fake accounts come rushing in we suggest giving us a peek.
Not only do we have have the best warranty we stand 100% behind our products.

Is it really a question?! Slackwraps sux DBRAND RULZ
(And no, this is not a fake account. You guys just don't have dbrand's swag.)
I have bought two dbrand skins for my G4 (wood and carbon fiber) and love them. They both look and feel great. Unfortunately I can not say anything about slickwraps because I never tried them. But I can definitely recommend dbrand.

Both are nice.
I have used both brands quite a few times and can honestly say that either is worth the small price they ask.
I do think dbrand has slightly better aligned cutouts, but slickwraps cutouts are not bad at all.
@slickwraps if you want to change my mind send me one of your skins to test and I will put up a review for it.

3 colors of Carbon Fiber. Thats original.
As stated, don't order from Slickwraps. They don't reply,. Good luck getting ripped off.
Hmm. Too late for me. Placed an order on Friday. Will report back how it goes. I'm in New Zealand so could be a week or so before my order arrives.
ordered from slickwraps last year. took a month before they even shipped it. and yes, no replies from them.
I ordered a skin for my OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren from SlickWraps and compared to the Dbrand skin I ordered afterwards it was much thinner and cheaper. Installing it causes bubbles because the material is so thin. Peeling it back off basically rips the skin. I would never order anything from SlickWraps, only from DBrand as the quality of the materials are much better than most of the other companies.
I also ordered from them once - never delivered, never replied.
I always get mine from Sopiguard. Site looks weird but they ship it same day and I get it in a couple days. Prices are much better than others as well
I am using a Gadgetshieldz screen protector on my phone and their quality is good. Also, they provide installation guide for screen protectors which was very helpful and It was really easy to install.
