Titanium Backup Problems - Nook Color General

Properly rooted NC running stock otherwise. Titanium Backup (pay version if that matters) is showing a Problem. When I click the Problem button it tells me to upgrade Superuser which I have done and BusyBox which I have done as well.
Any ideas on problem.

Do you have a FAT32-formatted SD card inserted?

Yes. I was able to make a backup but the Problem button is still there and it's still telling me to install BusyBox despite it being installed.

That "Problems?" button is ALWAYS there.

[Help] Can't detect apps (apps2sd)

Hi i'm using unlocked G1 with CynogenMod 3.4 ROM
I changed my SIM Card with another one, but after i turn it on all the apps that i installed in sd can't be detected. (in application manager only the apps from the rom is listed)
When i check the sd card & phone storage, the internal phone storage still shows 848MB available space.
How can i get all my installed apps back without reinstalling the apps?
Thank you
Note: before i changed also the sim card but it worked normally, this is the first time happened can't read all the installed apps on my sd.
I had the same thing happen to me. All I did was mount the sdcard in ubuntu, grab all the apps, and adb install them all back with a batch script. It only took a little bit, but hey, it works. If a2sd didnt take for you, you might want to rewipe, reflash, reformat, repartition after youve gathered all of your apks.
look in the cyanogen thread...
install 3.4.1 and if you have a theme, reinstall the theme. maybe you will have to redo apps2sd from the recovery console (Power on + Home Button) too.
thanks, i'll install the new version

[Q] Lost apps on SD

After installing CM6 RC3 I have lost all my apps on the SD card, they did come back for a short time after a reboot but then disappeared again after another reboot. I cannot even uninstall them or reload them from the market as they just hang when I try to uninstall or re-install from the market.
When I look at application info, the apps on the SD just show "Computing" and nothing ever shows up.
Also, I am unable to mount the SD over USB.
I have gone back to stock ROM but I still have the issue.
I was using apps2SD but I made sure not to move any widgets or running apps.
I've tried booting into recovery to wipe data and cache but of course my recovery is broken.
If I missed this in the forums please give me a search that will give me results that are not too numerous to parse.
Thanks for any help.
There is no apps2SD support in CM6 or the stock rom, that's why you can't see them.
CM6 only support the FroYo apps on SD method right now, and they are working on a newer better apps2sd for future versions.
If you flash back to CM5, you might be able to see them, but I am not familiar with the old apps2SD method.
Then why did my apps show up in CM6? They were there and functioning fine, I think I must have messed with a setting somewhere.
FYI, I was able to restore my apps by deleting .android_secure from the SD card and then re-install Ti Backup and restore my apps.
Can someone explain how the app location setting in CM6 affects apps? I am thinking when I enabled this it screwed things up.
The .android_secure directory on the SD card is the 2.2 official apps to SD. So you probably were using that all along and something screwed up. That's why you could use them for a bit.

Titanium backup error at start up

Im trying to use titanium to wipe youtubes data to get youtube working (/data shows as being empty in astro), but it says that my busybox is working but su is not elevating proporly. It says that when it ran a whoisit the result came back as applet not found and that it thinks my SU whitelist system app isn't working and to check with my rom provider. I rooted using autonooter, how can i fix this error?
Sent from my Nook Color via XDA app
I'm getting the same exact error. I'm really interested to see what the solution to this is. I haven't had any problems and it seems to be fully rooted. This is the only error I've seen anywhere.
Use the "Problems ?" button at the bottom of the screen when Titanium Backup is running. It will download and install its own version of Busybox.
Also, make sure you have an SD Card in _before_ you start Titanium... that was the only way I could get it to see apps.
I don't have an sd card in. The problems button doesn't help because busybox isn't the problem (i tried it). I will put on am sd card and try again. Just going to reformat the one i used for autonooter

Sd card fixed it

I installed z4root and rerooted. This fixed it for me.

Problem with Titanium Backup and uninstalling market update

I searched and still can't find an answer. I have 1.3 stock, and installed cm7 .177 nightly on an sd card. Installed correct gapps and installed Titanium Backup, but when I open Titanium it only shows the overview tab, no backup/restore tab. I'm trying to revert back to the old market so it will work correctly, and I've already done this with mine and I'm trying to make it work on my wife's. As far as I can tell I followed the exact same steps with hers as I did with mine, the only difference is she only has a 1 gb card in her nook and I have an 8 gb card in mine.
I think you need to touch the menu softkey then go to batch there you will see every posible action.
I tried that and it tells me "system requirements are not met". Looking at mine compared with my wifes, Titanium sees my SD card but doesn't recognize hers. In her settings, when I tried to mount the SD card it says 'card error' and may need to format. Is it because the card is only 1 gb that titanium isn't working?

I think you answered your own question. There is no room for a backup....

Freeze home apk and deleted Go launcher, Cannot use the phone now

I have frozen home.apk and did a factory reset. so the debug mode is unticked and i have rooted my phone with cwm installed. I cant use my phone now cos i dun have a home.apk. Does anyone know what should i do? Help. Please.
Reflash it?
i dun actually know,
i know there are 2 methods, one is using kdz and the other is using Smartflash
can you tell me, thanks!
Oh! Ok! So... you said you had CWM installed. This means you can access it by keeping the power button + volume down pressed. Am I right? How did you install this CWM? Was it through ROM Manager? Did you perform a full backup of your system? Do you have any ROM's in your internal memory? Do you have an external SD card? (this is almost like a doctor's appointment! )
i have an external sd card
the original lg v20l is installed
cwm was installed before i made a factory rest
i can access cwm
Just push in another launcher with adb
If it was me I would put a custom ROM in the sd card, boot into CWM and flash it, since you haven't performed a full system back up.
Or, if you know how to use adb you can do as Herrhuk suggested.
However I strongly recommend that you perform a full system backup using CWM as soon as you have your phone working properly.
