need some help fixing the date in my taskbar

i posted on the old forum originally, but
im making my own theme and i need help fixing the date overlap. any ideas?

Well, for one you need to change the color because it doesnt look right. Two, something is wrong with your taskbar. It should automatically make the other icons go away.

color change? how can i do that, and would anyone know how to fix this.... i can supply my theme so they can take a look

its in the services.jar in /system/framework, but to edit its something about baksmali and i dont really understand. had someone help with changing to grey for me. i have attached if you want.
did you make your taskbar clear? if so thats why the overlapping with the drop down.

ok so that the issue... my taskbar is clear. is there anyway to keep it clear and fix the date?

Well this bar rox it looks cool its from tayutumas rom help plz i want this in a new rom but live this bar and if u can tell in the background its cold outside

What rom are you trying to put it in,and what part of it.

First off, make sure you get his permission. Can't just go around taking peoples work. Secondly, you have to pull framework-res.apk, and copy over all the .pngs that you want in your new rom, over to that rom's framework-res.apk.
Also, 37F? Cold? Bah, come visit us up in Canada. It was -15C earlier this week.

and where is the xml to modify the text color of download in progress?

The quick panel icons are located in systemui.apk>drawable-hdpi.
The progress bar text. You need to decompile errrrrr... download provider apk and edit the colours xml located in values.

i'm trying to port aosp theme to jvt but i got a misaligned icon in dialertabactivity.
icon size and format are correct but as you can see in the picture is misaligned.
the icon is dialer_tab_contact_button_normal as far as i know.

Hello people!! I want some help on theming my frameork-res.apk. I've done almost all things to look it like that of ICS, but now, the only thing I am stuck at is the Text Color of the Title of a dialog. I want to change it to blue like that of ICS.
I am talking about this:-

The above is the Dialog of the ICS Rom. Here, the text color of the Title of dialog is Blue. My framework-res.apk is from FroYo, so the Title text color of dialog is white there. This is thing I want to change.
I know that it's in values/styles.xml, but which style inside it?? I see "Theme.Dialog" inside it, there are the following lines:-
Which thing under this I need to modify?? Is that @style/TextAppearance" or "@color/primary_text_dark/light", etc.???
Pleeease Help Me!!! I am struggling since a week for this!! ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!!!!

I Think He is Talking about Gingerbread , For Theming Them They Should be in whether in SystemUi.apk or GMail App & Phone.apk

sorry for my bad english this is Gingerbread theming, this is the error i try to fix it. now try to find in SystemUi.apk, pls more help

what is zzz_tw_button_text_inversible ?
zzzzz_tw_cursor_handle_menu_btn_color ?

Mmmmm.. This has been a problem of the ICS theme, even broodplank couldn't fix it, so it may be hard...
